| I fancy Brighton at home to Leyton, Brighton won 2 away games already & I expect them to get their first home win against the O's. I think Oldham can keep up their good form by nicking threee points at Colchester. Any thoughts welcom |

| After looking I see Brighton as a definite three pointer. Along with three points for Leicester and Leeds Leicester have got the experience to see off Cheltenham, although a very gutsy performance in the carling cup agasint Stoke. Leeds have got to be looked at.. After thrashing Crystal Palace in mid week(Who had not conceded prior to this) they have enough quality to see aside Bristol Rovers. Bristol hit a lacklustre Hereford for 6, but also showed they lack in concentration at the back. Which i think hitman Jermain Beckford will exploit. Back Brighton @ 1.72 Back Leicester @ 2.20 Back Leeds United @ 1.64 |

| It's always hard to gage the weekends fixtures after a midweek cup clash. It provides mixed results & often a distorted image. Like you say teams often put in gutsy performances where as the higher league teams often play a few reserves. I think Leeds can beat Bristol R but I wont be betting on it. They beat Bristol 1 nil last season & with that at the back of their minds & the confidence of thrashing Palace in the cup, should do it. I'd rather wait another week or 2 & see teams form settling down. Leeds just seem a bit rocky in the league. It's worth a low stake punt tho. Leicester do look a good away too but I just fancy picking Oldham ahead of them in a double. |

| Your absolutley spot on.. People should only be placing low wager at this stage of the season anyway. I tell you what, I will place Leicester on as your doing Oldham. If they both win, we are pure genius! Whoever fails begs the other for their tips the following week lol Good luck with that mate |

| Also, I dont know how I have overlooked it. But Crewe at a tasty 3.00 to win away to Hereford could be worht ago. As Hereford, seem to have found it quite difficult to make the step up in League One |

| I do apologise was just a general comment agreeing with him. But on that case. Brightons start to the season seems really encouraging, especially with that win at relagated southend last week. The only game Leyton Orient won, they marginly scraped against a very poor Hereford side, who as I have already said, dont seem like they are ready to be playing in league one. In all Micky Adams has built a solid squad, and could easily see them making the play offs this season. |

| Brighton look home bankers for me too. Theyve started the season brightly by staying unbeaten and face a poor Orient side who remain largely unchanged from last season and who picked up their only win against Hereford, who havnt picked up any points so far.

| could anyone dissuade me from Carlisle ? they are usually one of my 1st picks when playing at home and playing Yeovil must be the furthest trip in British football - unbeaten in the league so far and were better than most teams in this division last season. Team news etc.. cheers

| Lower league teams like Yeovil would definitely get coaches to away matches but like you say, the would surely have stayed up there and trained around the area. Whatever they chose though, I can still see them getting beat at Carlisle, who are so strong at Blundell Park.

| Brunton Park!!! Dont get us confused with Grimsby WHU ![]() Just to let you know regarding Carlisle that Dobie will be suspended after getting sent off at Orient, so Cleveland Taylor will start who after lookin shocking last season, looks a lot better so far this season. I woouldnt touch carlisle at the moment to be honest, and dont think you should look into last seasons home form either. This only means a lot of teams, yeovil probably included, will come for a draw and be harder to break down. Also, our defence is looking very shaky so we are likely to leak goals. It should be a home win for Carlisle, but there is better value to be had elsewhere |

| Brighton v Leyton Orient 8/11 skybet Have to agree with the above sentiments on this game. Brighton have made an encouraging start, and should have no fears about facing an indifferent leyton orient side. With nicky forster banging the goals in for brighton, i cant see anything other than a home win. Orient have only got one win against hereford, which as pointed out isnt anything to shout about seeing as they still havent got a point. The fact that orient couldnt break down carlisle is also a concern as carlisle conceded 4 goals in their first 2 games. They have played 1 away game in which peterborough demolished them 3-0 and i cant see anything other than a repeat here. home win |

Lee I'd say last seasons home form should be considered at this early stage of the season when theres no other patterns after only a few games, that said, your comments regarding the defence and suspension is to be taken onboard and presently giving food for thought. Seems to be a natural reaction for football fans to talk down your own team ( Im guilty of this as well ) but you have me now having 2nd thoughts.

| Brighton (1.72 ladbrokes) Brighton were surprisingly good away from home this season, but I expected more from them in their home game against Bristol Rovers. Haven't checked stats from previous seasons, but I remember them as typical home team ![]() Anyway, they are simply stronger side than Leyton Orient, and if they managed to break 30+ years win less streak at Southend last week, I'm sure they can break their win less streak at home this season with a win against Leyton Orient ![]()
