Portsmouth -1.5
Portsmouth finished 8th in the Premier League while Cardiff finished 12th in the Championship. While Pompy went off the bit over the last few weeks they were saving themselves for this game and they are a team that has the players to win this game easily. Look to Kranjcar and Kanu to use their skill to run rings around the Cardiff defence that really is not used to players of this calibre playing against them.

I haven't got much of view on this game. Any sort of form goes out of the window often. So I looked at Betfair odds to see prices I thought were a bit abnormal and something to keep me interested in the game for 90 minutes.

30.0 on 2-2 looks big. Cup finals are not always low scoring, but obviously alot of punters think this one will be. True odds for average game are around 22.0 for 2-2?. Cardiff have played open football in all their cup games to date. Pompey looked vulnerable at Preston so its not impossible.

A very modest 2pts@30.0 for 2-2.

Well I dont know about the Johnson johnson..if that comes off...and you think it will you might as well stick a tenner on it. And enklemen to get booked...thats odd betting..but go for it.

However the Krancjar to score outside the box seems a decent bet, but then why not go for Krancjar to score first, pompey to win 2-0 50-1 with WillHill.
I also put down Baros to score first same score 2-0 is 33/1. I cant see cardiff winning. Yet it will be a good game if Cardiff can close down, make quick passing.. and go straight thru sol onto baros.. too much speed all i can say. Have a nice day guys and girls.

Small stakes on
draw ht/Portsmouth ft at 4/1.

Feel it will be tight in the first half, Pompie haven't scored a lot recently and Cardiff can make it difficult for them and without Defoe goals may be hard to come by. Could see it being 0-0 at half time and Portsmouth's extra quality telling in the later stages.

Hope its a good game and good luck to both teams.

I missed out by 1 minute with the first goal. In Ladbrokes where was a promo where you paid £1 and got a minute in the Cup Final for first goal. Sadly I had the 36th minute and the first goal was 37th minute so missed out on £45 by 1 minute! :-(

As far as Cardiff representing England in UEFA concerned...remember ages ago in 70's or 80's 2 West of England teams (may have been Hereford and Chester) fought out the final of the Welsh Cup but neither were allowed into Europe because they weren't Welsh.
