BB, you lot were very poor today, we wanted it more, and showed it in the first 30 minutes, when we were so dominant we could have had 4. The team Peters is building here has a real chance of top 7 next season, Burton and Hope are rock solid at the back, and the releasing of Sharp, Denny and Mclen this week shows he isn't afraid of making tough decisions, like taking men off today when they'd beek booked after half an hour. With your away record, I fancy Chester to get at least a point on Wed's.

The celebrations at the end today showed what it meant to the players and the fans though. We go to Chester on the last day looking for a quadruple in local derbies this season.

Ha, I'm sure you will find a lucky last minute goal as you usually do at the Deva. Being usually awful in local derbies to have won 3 out of 3 is stunning this season! The double over Wrexham for the first time in 27 years!

Tyrone...
The thing is, we don't view STFC as a derby...there is only one for us, played, usually, every ten years when we happen to be in the same league as Chester!
Yes, it did mean a lot to your lot...nice to know you view us as a big scalp. However, top 7 next season? Don't think so...like us you still need major rebuilding. We have been gash for most of the season and have made a lot of teams look a lot better than they are.
Assuming we do get some money to invest from the takeover, I can see half the squad of 20 being released, and the rumour is that Ferguson has been told he has to find a new club for next season because of what happened when Denis Smith was in hospital. Although, when his mind is on the game, Fergie looks way better than most, the problem is that we have to play 3-5-2 with him in the team. Lawrence should be dropped, now, as his mind is in Germany.
I could see us try 4-3-3 on Wednesday...shit or bust time

I hear a lot of this you don't see us as a derby, but from speaking to a few of your fans in a few pubs afterwards they were fairly split whether over whether it was Chester or us, or both, that was a derby. I'm sure it's not a derby game when we beat you.

Since the half-way point we've shown some of the best form in the division, and GP is building a decent squad, with a solid foundation at the back. A top 10 is a real ambition for next year, and once you're in the top half anything can happen in this league, just ask Chester.

What happened when Smith was in hospital by the way? Lawrence was poor today, if Mark Stallard can cause him problems I dread to think what Rooney could do to him.

Rooney did it to him in a friendly when he was 16...i don't think it will have got any better over the last 4 years or so!!!

It is alleged (you can tell I am a lawyer) that, with Carey taking over the management duties for a match, Fergie told him to Feck Off and then, when his back was turned, he lamped him one.
I heard 5 mins after it happened...funnily enough fergie was injured and out of the team for a fair time after that.

Derby?? I lived in Copthorne for 5 years in the 70's and, when I was not at a Wrexham game, i would go down to the Meadow to watch Shrewsbury....I would NEVER have done the same if I lived in Chester!!!

...and if you met any of ours who didn't think that Chester was a derby then it must have been an inmate's outing!!
