Last time out we were beaten 1-0 last season by Scunthorpe and feel this weekends game could be very difficult. There was alot of build up on this board last weekend to the forest game and alot of forest backers me included. I must admit Forest were very lucky to win last saturday Swansea should have been 2 or 3 goals up and out of sight by half time. This Saturday is international weekend and Forest will be missing 2 players from last Saturday's win with Sammy Clingan playing for Northen Ireland and Junior Agogo last weekends goals scorer playing for Togo I think. Really think we will struggle only bright spark in our teams is the introduction of Kris Commons after injury. If you ask any Forest fan on current form if we should be top. If they said yes would be lying to you. Still to see the best of us and that's won't happen untill Nathan Tyson is back in a months time. I just think league 1 is full of poor teams and we have ridden our luck this season. Going back to Saturday's game I think Scunthorpe are massive value at 4/1 or 5/1 against an under strength Forest team. I hope we win but would stay clear of backing forest this weekend. prices far too short. I think Scunthorpe have a good chance of winning the game if we start like we did against Swansea. I personally think the game will be a 1-1 daw but prices on Scunthorpe are very good and adding the extra spice with Brian Laws the Scunthorpe manager being an ex forest player he will want to get one over his old club like last season.
Well done also to you James, thanks for the insight and hopefully a few people got on Scunthorp at those odds!

Will done DJ on Rochdale and DJ/J20 on Scunthorpe.

DJ and myself on Lincoln too.

I went for Darlo because I thought it might be a new start for them, obviously not.

Overall a good 18 hours for the PL board.

Martin Ling mentioned in the Racing Post today that him and his coaching staff had a open discussion with the Orient players after losing 3-0 at Blackpool. This can signal an improved performance in a team, so I took the 13/8 for them at home to Chesterfield with Betfred. He did say he was desperately trying to sign a centre half which suggests its a goals over game too.

Huddersfield currently lead Bradford City 1-0 after 70 minutes. Carlisle and Millwall are locked at 0-0 after 30 minutes

and now if Bradfrod scores, that would be beautiful - Huddersfield are with 10 men for last 20 minutes, and I'm on draw personally here.

Incredible result at Forest today!
0-4.
Never saw that coming in a million years. Yes I don't rate them as highly as their league position suggests but you don't expect them to lose 4-0 at home to Scunthorpe.
Wide open league this season for sure.

If thats not bad enough, Millwall are only minutes away from beating Carlisle. Millwall is bottom while Carlisle is 6th, at home Carlisle record is 5-1-0 while away Millwall are 1-0-5.

Im close to giving up on League 1, its a joke

Match: Brighton – Blackpool
Pick: Blackpool +0.5
Odds: 1.781 @ Pinnacle
Stakes: 8/10

Analysis: In terms of personnel, there would not be many changes in both teams’ lineup. Brighton however would welcome back Hinshelwood in defense and would hope he could help turn about Brighton’s fortunes. Brighton are have lost their last 3 league games while Blackpool have lost just twice in their last 9 league games. Blackpool would hope to carry on their fine performances which they had exhibited in their past matches here to aid them in their quest to inch away the relegation zone. The teams here pitting against each other would be fairly even but with form of Blackpool coming good at this point in time, I would have to fancy them to grind away and steal at least a point from this match.

Well done Djorde on backing Scunthorpe. I have been at work all day today my Saturday to work although I only work 1 in 6. Couldn't bet against my own team today even though the odds were amazing. Got back for the england game and they couldn't even beat bloody Macedonia!!! Not a good footballing weekend. My team lose at home 4-0 although I saw that coming as we have been very lucky over last few weeks. Didn't see the England performance coming. Oh well there's always another day I should be happy Forest are still top of the league I suppose. Will post my thoughts on Gillingham away later on in the week. Just wanted to come on and say well done today on backing the scunny boys. Felt you were hard done to last Saturday with Swansea as they were all over Forest!.
Roll on next Saturday. Can Calderwood and the boys put things right a week is a long time in football. Anyway I need a beer it's been along day!
