Price on Ipswich is completely wrong in my opinion (2.25) and won't last long in my opinion.

OK, Crewe made surprising draw against Wolves (I thought they could even win that one), but they're still one of the poorest sides in the Championship.

Ipswich are in revival period at the moment, unbeaten in last 7 rounds but with two maybe lucky wins in last 2 games (late own goal against Norwich and late penalty against Burnley). But nevermind that, their confidence should be high at the moment, and they should see off poor Crewe on Tuesday.

Difference between this season Ipswich and Ipswich from last couple of years is big in quality, but they are still strong enough to cope with mediocre sides, and I see them as huge favorites here.

I agree with you Dzordze, the price on Ipswich looks quite interesting and I will have some of that.

Stoke-Plymouth is the fixture that is drawing my attentin. I reckon thiswill be a low scoring match and under 2.5 goals looks like a very probable outcome

EventNorwich - Brighton
Bookmaker/PricePinnacle Sports @ 1.74 (Back)
ReasoningI'm on Norwich here. They need a win here.It should be first win for them from the new year.Brighton is excellent opponent to do this. They will be playing without Hammond. They are awfull away and have bad record against Norwich. They lose two straight games and I see them losing another one. It's at least a poorer opponent for Norwich than their previous ones. They should gain three points here.

Bookmaker/PriceExpekt @ 3.20 (Back)
ReasoningWatford in superb form.Six straight wins and for sure they will fight for next one against Leeds. For such odds I'm going to give a greater chance to Watford. With Leeds playing just average lately and Watford winning everything when scoring many goals I'm definitelly on Watford here. Both teams are still hoping for second place so this will be a very important game.

Bookmaker/PriceExpekt @ 2.25 (Back)
ReasoningIpswich boosted with two previous wins.Crewe gained a point last saturday. But they are still one of the worst championsip sides.Still without few players. They will have tought time against Ipswich.Ipswich managed to won against Burnley despite losing 0:1.Previous meeting are for sure on Ipswich side.Crewe haven't won for a long time and I can't see them winning on tuesday.

Well guys I dont know where are you finding confidence to back Norwich anymore. I thought after they won at Sheffield few weeks(/months, cant remember) ago they will start uptrend, but after that they keep struggling and struggling. Wouldnt back them against Brighton at these odds never. Brighton are poor side, but they can always put in some good defensive display and maybe nick it at the end. Shaky Norwich could be the right place for Brighton to even book all three points.

Leeds v Watford game is big no bet in my opinion, and whatever you choose in this one (home, draw, away) you will go wrong

ReasoningChampionship
Ipswich continue to pull themselves together following a very poor start to the season by their standards. Crewe energed from Wolverhampton with a decent draw but caught Wolves on a bad day and despite having alot of pressure in the 2nd half yet again Wolves inadequacy infront of goal came to the fore. Perhaps Ipswich were lucky getting a penalty against ten man Burnley in the win at the weekend but they have regained their momentum following the Norwich slip. Crewe welcome back skipper Kenny Lunt following suspension and have pretty much a full squad to pick from. Ipswich look set to give a first start to midfielder Vemund Brekke Skard.

I like the look of Cardiff at Luton. Luton usually play an open game at home while Cardiff can score any time. A win for Cardiff looks promising as well as an over 2.5 goals @ 2.08 (Betfair).

I would avoid betting on the city (but I usually get my team completely wrong)

City are looking for what would be only their 4th ever win at Luton. The last one came in September 1981.

I'm gonna stick a small stake on Plymouth - things at Stoke aren't too clever at the moment

The Stoke boss has had a right go at his missing striker.

Stoke City's star striker Sammy Bangoura failed to show up ahead of Stoke's clash with the Bluebirds on Saturday and he's left his manager fuming.

"It's ridiculous, he knows we need him. He knows he should have been here Tuesday and not to tell bull**** stories to everybody," Boskamp told the Stoke Sentinel.

"He has totally no respect for anyone. If I was a player, not a manager, I would kick him in his b***s. He has to apologise to the players and I hope for him the players accept it. He has no respect for me and I've no respect for him."

Bangoura is likely to get a fine of two weeks wages and today will face his team mates.

Defender Clint Hill said

"I can't believe Sammy isn't here. It's bordering on the disrespectful to the other players and to the fans because he probably earns more in a month than they earn in a year.

Considering Bangoura is one of the few that can find the net for stoke, I think they may struggle again - they've scored in just 2 of their last 7 games (beat walsall and drew 1-1 with tamworth, both in fa cup) - they cannot do without him. Also they have lost half of their home games. On the flip side, Plymouth have picked up 11 points from their last 18.

You'll never play us at a better time Aliando. 2 consecutive defeats, goalie sent off in the last game, defender injured at Preston as well, got beaten 5-1 although it was nowhere near as bad as it sounded and Newell was sent to the stands too!

Having said that, 2/1 is no price at all on Cardiff with their record down here. They've not beaten us while I've been alive and I'm 23 and who are pretty hit and miss away at best.

We've a good record at home in midweek having beaten Southampton, Norwich and Preston among others and with no price standing out I wouldn't recommend a bet.

agree totally with djord's posting above, brighton have bit me on the 4rse everytime ive opposed them !!

coventry have a chance at home to poor opposition ( sheff wed ) to reinstate a final chance at a top 6 spot - they where on good form in general, but their home form has been good all season at their new stadium. I tipped them for a shock at Watford at the weekend but reckon with the likes of dennis wise in the dressing room, be right back into a play-off place type mentality.

4/5 a good bet.

Burnley were maybe unlucky to lose at Ipswich after 1-0 up at half time and with late penalty for Ipswich, but that's another defeat and that's what counts. And defeats, especially so called unlucky defeats, can only damage your moral and confidence, and especially when you're already on bad run. Only one win for Burnley in last 6 rounds with only 3 goals scored. They will miss defensive duo Sinclair/Thomas, keeper Coyne as well, and I think they're in big troubles against Wolves.

Wolves managed to take only point against struggling Crewe, but that was only one of those bankers which naver come in. Wolves are still in combination for play off spots, their scoring difficulties should be eased by arrival of Arsenal striker Jeremie Aliadiere, and with already solid defense they should take something from match agaisnt pretty impotent Burnley.

Wolves always did well at Turf Moor in last couple of years, and with Burnley's recent troubles more quality side should be backed at some really nice odds. 2.85 at Centrebet is really great price.

Welcome Thinker

The Reading game is a no go for me to be honest, Cardiff have a good chance of getting something out of that game for me and the other game is far too close to call.

I fancy Watford not to lose at Leeds, possibly an asian handicap bet. Was considering over 2.5 goals, Watford have scored 15 in their last 4, but Leeds haven't conceded at home in their last 4. Should be an interesting game either way.

Also fancy Ipswich at a very nice price, confidence high after two good wins, and should have enough to see of Crewe, despite them picking up a point at Wolves on Sat.

Stoke (0) (1.82) @ Pointbet

Wrong handicap offered here by Pointbet, the +-0 line is surely to generous, even taking into account the shocking form of Stoke in recent weeks. They do however welcome back Bangoura who amazingly has only just returned from the ACN despite his side going out at the QF stage. Plymouth are in good form, and shouldn't be underestimated, but home advantage here is crucial still, and giving such odds on a relatively safe handicap is what makes this bet pure value. 5/10 stakes.

AJ is a major doubt after picking up what Dowie described as a 'laceration, a very serious gash, on his thigh' on Saturday. Marco Reich is also unlikely to feature after injuring a foot - was last seen on a train earlier on his way to see a specialist.
There are also rumours over Aki (who was subbed at half time) being injured but I couldn't find any details. Defender Hudson is suspended for the match.
