Cardiff could be cracking value away at Sheffield Wednesday. Wednesday are just awful this season, toothless up front and seemingly unable to keep a clean sheet. Cardiff had been on a nice little run before losing to Stoke and Norwich, but those two teams are a hell of a lot better than Wednesday are currently. And Cardiff look to be back on track with their FA Cup win.

Also, at first glance Palace at 2.1 against Wolves looks a superb bet. Palace were very unlucky not to win at Bristol City, and Wolves have looked very, very bad recently, their only wins coming against very weak opponents. Palace won 3-0 at Wolves recently.

i'd be a little wary of the teams left in the FA Cup at present - if they dont have any promotion aspirations (such as west brom) then the league form may dip a little as players wont want to be injured.

I'd personally wait until team news is available here - unfortunately i'll be rat-arsed in cornwall this weekend on a stag trip, so wont be around to post my thoughts.

the game that stuck out for me here was norwich - similar thoughts re: the fa cup for barnsley and i cant see norwich taking them lightly after last week! norwich have improved greatly under roeder and although they have slowed in form a little of late, i would expect them to have given themselves a big of a shake up after losing 4-0 last weekend. again, would rather wait for a bit of team news but wont be around.

I know what you mean re the FA Cup, but in this case I'm not sure it'll be a major factor; Cardiff have 14 games left, and are just 7 points from the play-offs. Reaching those must surely be the priority, especially as they don't even know yet who they will face in the next round.

And regarding Wednesday, I speak from bitter experience, this is a terrible side, even by our recent standards. We really do look very likely to go down, and I'm mystified why we are still available at 3.5 to go down (I'm on at 14/1 incidentally, and tipped us at 20/1 before we sold Brunt).

WBA v Hull over 2.5 goals @1.8 Sporting bet

Well here we go again. Compilers really should be opening on 2.75 goal line for all WBA games, actually they did for cup match against Coventry but still got wiped out as WBA hit five. Hull aren't the most promising of opposition but still they are scoring (they've got a goal in last four aways) and that's all which is needed as good chances that WBA will cover the spread on their own. 35 goals in last 10 WBA matches in league and 8/10 overs.

Stoke v Ipswich over 2.5 goals '1.89 pinnacle

Nice recent stats here particularly for Stoke and the match up of playing styles is promising. Fast physical direct Stoke against Ipswich's passing game.

Stoke are really flying at the moment and goals are flooding in at both ends. 23 goals in the last 6 Stoke homes. There should be some more here.

Colchester v Bristol City Over 2.25 Goals @ 1.97 VC Bet

A strange goal line for sure. Both teams must go for the win to help their relegation/promotion scenario's. Colchester were a huge over team at home last season. This season it's not been such a gold mine but still the trends look nice for goals with Colchester having scored and conceded in 6 out of the last seven matches. Imp fw Lisbie could be back for this one which will help things while Bristol's centreback Louis Carey looks set to miss out again. Bristol were very lucky to get a draw against Palace partially due to their creative mf Carle being man marked out of the game. That won't happen here so they should create more up front this time around. Nice chances for goals.

Plymouth v Burnley +0.25 @ 1.99 Canbet

The beauty of this division is it's unpredictability which means you can back one team one round and oppose them the next with good chances of success. Under Coyle's management the Lancashire team have really come on and are second only to Watford in terms of away form. One negative here is the probable loss of Cole to injury but Carlisle returns to boost the Burnley defence. Plymouth have no new injury worries. Home Park is a tough place to go to but Plymouth haven't really fired there this year and have only gained maximum points from 6/16 homes this year. Good chances of at least a draw here.

agreed
wolves form isnt particarly good but our away form is even worse
im going with palace draw no bet at 4/6
wolves never found palace a happy hunting ground and have never won there as far as i can remember in the past 10seasons
wolves only won 3away games in league this season one sheffwed 1st game, 2nd cardiff around october, 3rd in jan at scunthorpe

so this bet would failed to get your money back 3times in about 16attempts

Akos Busacky is banned for todays game at QPR. This is normally a decent bet on the overs market, so a gamble at over 2.5 & 3.5 i would recommend.

2.5+ is 2.22 on Betfair

4 or more is 4.13 on betfair
