Palace at Barnsley look a bit over priced. Barnsley may have beaten Brum last time at home, but they are very up and down in results.

Bet365 had them at 3.5 to win until a few minutes ago, the 3.5 is still at Interwetten.

Betfair price is 3.3, which I think still has some value.

Plymouth I think should see off Southend at Home Park. Southend have fallen apart in most of the last games (away to Preston apart). While Plymouth have picked up wins again.

Plymouth are set to name an unchanged side from the win at Luton, while Eastwood is a major doubt for Southend.

Plymouth at evens on Betfair looks like a decent bet to me

English Championship: NORWICH v IPSWICH 2 @ 3.10 @ Centrebet 10 points

The main feature in this game is that Norwich City is depleted with 8 missing and three doubtful most among the key players.

The injury problems at Norwich are massive and this is part of the cause of the 3-0 loss to struggling Burnley in their last game. Norwich will miss major players Dion Dublin. Other major player David Huckerby and Lee Croft are extremely doubtful. Eight others: Chris Brown, Chadwick, Doherty, Fotheringham, Lappin, Marshall, Safri and Thorne - are all out.

Ipswich have something to play for in this game and are looking to complete a double here for the season. They won at Norwich on two of their last three visits at Carrow Road.

Ipswich are in good form and won four of last five losing one to Sheffield Wednesday but winning last game on Derby by 2-1. They’ve scored at least two in each of their four wins for a total of 12 scored against 2 conceded in them.

I go for the away win @ 3.10 @ Centrebet 10 points

Reasoning Birmingham if will win this game will be leader with no problems to quali in Premier League. They come with big motivation here because they have just 3 games till end of season . No fresh injuries for Steve Bruce .
In mid week they beat Leichester with 2-1 so the morale is high.

Wolves looks like an accesible team for Birmingham and i think the same.
The right winger back Rob Edwards is injured and his reserve is suspended , here will be an improved player.
Low form for Wolves in last 6 games , one win , 2 draws and 3 loses. Is not a powerfull team at home if we see the recevied goals : 25.
They lose at high score against top teams , in last 4 home games they met Southampton and lose with an unbelievable 6-0 , in this situation i think Birmingham have the first chance to take 3 points.

Good bet, something that I had thought about too but Norwich v Ipswich is the derby and so anything can happen. I would say that Ipswich of either team would get the win today due to the reasons that you have cited in your post. I would however be more tempted to take Ipswich -0 on AH @ 2.03 so covering the draw.

Norwich injury worries unfounded with Dublin, Croft, Huckerby and even Earnshaw starting the game. They look a huge price at 2.9+ on Betfair but my main bet on this game is OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 2.1 Betfair

Norwich's last 5 have ended 'overs' and 3 of Ipswich's last 4 have featured 3 or more goals. The Tractor boys have notched 5 goals themselves recently. Nothing to play for but east anglian pride, so hopefully this will lead to an open game.

Having a dabble on a 3-2 correct score @ 44.0 on Betfair

Yes, I believe there will be goals in the game and Norwich will win so just a small bet at a big price.

1-0 Norwich, nice start

Norwich
12 Warner
17 Hughes
04 Shackell
09 Dublin
03 Drury
07 Croft
20 Etuhu
28 Spillane
16 Fotheringham
06 Huckerby
10 Earnshaw

This line up doesnt look that weak to me. I presume you based this pick on bbc preview?

Good luck anyway

Hope some of you benefited from my further misery. The rumours I'm hearing from around the club are that Paul Simpson has completely lost the dressing room. Preston probably won't pick up points away at Plymouth or at Home to Birmingham.

English Championship: Burnley(+0.25:0) WBA 2 @ 1.93 @ Pinnacles 10 points

West Brom have been on ups and downs recently. After four successive defeats, they seem to have picked back some better form and stayed unbeaten in three of subsequent and last five games with one home draw, and two losses at home and two away wins. They met rather high opposition in these five games and drew with current leaders Birmingham and won on in-form QPR and affected but good Norwich.
West Brom need the points here to keep their play-offs slot and despite having one game in hand they have no interests to drop points as six other teams with them are within two points and are battling for three places.
West Brom are visiting Burnley who are safe from the relegation and have really nothing to play for. Burnley won four of last five scoring 9 goals without conceding any and they lost the other one by 1-0 to Leeds. They will not be lenient though against WBA. They won last game on affected Norwich by 3-0.
<< Their striker Paul McVeigh could return after missing the match against Norwich under the terms of his loan deal from the Canaries. But tonight the game is likely to come too soon for Steve Foster as he recovers from an Achilles tendon injury.
West Brom defender Curtis Davies is out with his broken metatarsal and Neil Clement is suspended. If Sam Sodje fails to recover from illness Chris Perry could be recalled while Darren Carter is suspended >>
I see West Brom doing well again here as they did in the last two successful away games. Their motivation to keep their play-off slot will be high motivation.
I go for the away win on the Asians here with the – ¼ ball handicap @ 1.93 @ Pinnacle 10 points

3pts Burnley +0.25 vs WBA Evs Betfred

This is a game WBA really could do with winning. A win would all but guarantee a playoff place for them but defeat would have them sweating bigtime for a couple of weeks. They have 2 easy games to come but the longer their playoff place isn't assured with the queue behind them the more nervous everyone around The Hawthorns is going to get.

When Luton went to Burnley last month they looked shite but since then they've won all 3 games at Turf Moor and all without conceding a goal. Andy Gray and Ade Akinbiyi appear to be clicking at the right time and that is proving effective. Paul McVeigh is back after missing the Norwich game as he's on loan from them and with his creativity and Gray and Akinbiyi's scoring power I think the Clarets will be tough to beat.

WBA's slump in form has coincided with the absence of Curtis Davies and that's no coincidence. He's quite easily the best defender in this league and losing hi would be a blow to anyone. Also missing tonight is Neil Clement and Darren Carter, both of whom were sent off in the disappointing defeat by Sheff Wed last week. Chris Perry may return but I'd question whether he's fully fit as if he was surely there would be no doubt about him. Diomansy Kamara has suddenly stopped scoring which isn't helping the Baggies and although their away results have been better than their home ones recently I think a Burnley side in good form are worth siding with tonight.

Cheers mate. In hindsight it was inevitable once we sold Viney and Edwards. Hopefully all the shite behind the scenes gets sorted and we bounce straight back.

He appears to be watching the same match I was at. The one where Luton were at least on a par if not better than Derby for most of it. The only times we was opened up was in the 2nd half when we went after the 2 goals we needed to stay up and committed men forward and left gaps at the back. The only save I remember Brill making in the 1st half was the one for the goal and that was from a set piece as was the shot against the bar so they hardly battered us did they?
