I'd say Leicester are quite well priced to beat my beloved Preston. After 4 truely appalling defeats on the trot for North End they finally came good away at Coventry and hammered them 4-0. All is still not well at Deepdale tho, Talisman McKenna is now out for the season and although Davidson has played well in midfield hes injury prone and if hes out we really struggle. New signing Soley has settled into midfield well which begs the question why the hell did Simpson drop him in the first place?

Either Preston have turned a corner and are back on track or they've flattered to decieve at Coventry, either way I'd say 5.4 for Leicester to nick it against Jeckll and Hyde PNE is worth a flutter and could be yet another surprise championship result.

For my other picks I was impressed by Southend last week and will be backing them to beat an out of sorts Plymouth and I can't see Southampton struggling against Leeds.

Cardiff is a team in disarray dropping 4 of their
last 5 against some mediocre competition.

QPR should handle them without much trouble at home.

soloshchenko - am i right in thinking that mckenna has been out since february?

ron - cardiff are definitely on a downward spiral and it coincides with forde coming in for the refusing-to-sign-a-new-contract alexander in goals. Jones has announced a cull of the squad due to poor performances this season and has named first teamers he expects to leave, thus ? their morale and attitudes following this. I cannot bring myself to look at another defeat here, but cannot see cardiff winning either. Will look into it closer to the time, but laying cardiff certainly seems the sensible bet.

I am not allowed to comment on my own team's fortunes as it is seen as banter not tipping. Just like to say I am so looking forward to the annual delivery of Cardiff fans into West London. 1st time for a few years that the old bill have let the game go ahead at 3pm on a Saturday. Should be a decent crowd as our lot still have to get a couple of points.

For me Stoke's recent form, only a late Chopra goal deprived them last weekend, suggest they are a good team to back at home to struggling Hull. Especially at odds that in the right places might well push closer to evens. Just indication of a bet at the moment and will get more info before making a final.

Yes hes been out for quite a while already having a hernia operation and how we've missed him!!! Unfortunately he had fully recovered and was ready for a return but injuried himself in training.

Without him we have 2 proper central midfielders. Soley and NOwland. Nowland is possibly our best but SImpson will never play him for personal reasons which is p*ssing everyone off!!!

I'd expect our midfield on Sat to be Soley and Davidson with Pugh and Segewick on the wings. If Davidson is injuried (He probably will be), Sedgewick will be the makeshift midfielder with Whaley taking his place on the wing.

We should win but with the champ I try and look for the upsets and this could easily be one.

The thing about Hull is there a really physical, battling side who I've seen twice this season and been impressed by their commitment. I can see that one being a draw you know.

i'd imagine that your boys will be more up for it than ours, but dont expect much else than a defensive counter attack approach from us. Take a book would be my advice to you.

Think I'm going to wait to see if there's good AH for Colchester at home to Sunderland. Everyone is treating Sunderland as unplayable, unbeatable, invincible and quite clearly at times they're not. 2 2-1s lately against Saints and QPR in games where Mackems didn't have it all their own way. I feel that Colchester could get at least a point at their home fortress Layer Road.

So if the AH -0 for Colchester comes in at good value I may well end up having a nibble there.

Colchester also have had a good month after wobbling from the early season good form, my initial thoughts where - Sunderland against anyone anywhere in the form they are in, but im going to pass on this one - if pushed a low scoring draw or 0-1 sunderland, but too close to call IMO.

Nothing stands out this week in this division for me, perhaps Southend at plymouth @ 13/5 - Southend need a win bigtime and play at mid-table plymouth who are an unconvincing 8 8 5 at home this season.

Just for to start with Friday match, I like Derby County (AHC -1.25) at 1.83 from Canbet.

Derby County vs Luton Town

It's not a mistery anymore how boss's home team Billy Davies believes strongly in the direct promotion (first 2 places and Derby is only 2 points under Birmingham), considering also the uptrend period of the his team and the recent efforts to reach points against any team.

Derby is coming up to play this friday match after they rested unbeaten in the last 4 home games and their home record (11-6-4; 30:19) is to consider relating to the difficult of this league, so very good.

Luton rested firm in the bottom of Chanmpionship, now far 8 points from relegation line with only 3 games availables to avoid it: pratically the guests are to be considered already sure for the 1st Division and that's happened IMO definitely after the last defeate, at Kenilworth Road, against Plymouth Argyle (by 1-2).

Kevin Blackwell has shown all the disappointed, to the press not only for the final result, but overall for the mental approach to the game, appeared no so in line for a team at the last hope.
On the road Luton has one the weakest record of the league (2-5-14; 17:39).

Derby scored 10 goals in the 4 played and they are still fighting for the 2nd place: large home win to wait.

I also fancy Stoke to take another 3 points at home against Hull. No discussion about Hull's verve for play they showed in some of recent matches, but Stoke's recent form is just too god not to do their job again at home. Stoke, straight home win.

The next one I'll jump on is Sheffield Wed to beat Coventry at home. Sheffield is in very very good form currently and I believe their motivation to get into the play-off zone is big enough to beat lately not much convicing coventry by more then a one goal margin. Sheffield Wed AH (-1.25).

i am on Sheffield wednesday too if something bad (injury) does not come till the match day. I will take -1 eh for bigger odd with medium stake cause i do believe if they win, it should be by more than goal margin.

i am not comfortable with Derby
