Are there any Derby fans on here? Whats the atmosphere like at Pride Park in pre-season after your horror show in the Prem? May consider backing the Rams this season.

Player for player I don't think Derby as as strong as others but Paul Jewell has got Bradford and Wigan out of this division so has a proven track record, and they're a decent enough price.

Fintron, I fancy Derby to have a solid season too. Theyve signed Ellington and Stewart from Watford, who are proven at this level and Jewell got the best out of Ellington at Wigan. Theyve also signed tricky midfielder Kris Commons from Forest and have been linked with a number of top names so could well be worth backing.

I have a lot of respect for Jewell (even if he got caught with his pants down in the tabloids ). Derby were 16/1 at Ladbrokes when I was in the other day, so may look to slap them in some each way doubles and trebles.
