For Willie82 aup mate as a stoke fan the team news is that fuller & lawrence will not play i would expect a few more changes as well.
even so i would hope we will be good enough to win. just be aware we have a terrible cup record laterly. good luck if you do back us hope this helps.

Ok back to Wolves tomorrow away to Rotherham.

Rotherham's only win this season has come at home to a dire chester city.

Wolves have started none to shabby and last 2 performances have improved with Ebanks-blake scoring at the weekend i feel as tho Wolves and Ebanks-Blake will be victorious.

Evens looks good to me

Hi Adam.
I wont be backing Wolves even at that price.
Wolves are a very inconsistant team IMO.
They quite often seem to let you down when its least expected.
Wasnt it last season when they got knocked out at home to Morecambe?
Granted they have started the season well but its only a few games in so nothing to get too carried away with.
Good Luck if you do back them i hope i am wrong in that case!

ReasoningBristol City have started really well this season after the set back of losing in the playoff final last season. A 3-0 win at Coventry at the weekend which was quite impressive.

Crewe have a 100% home record so far, played 2 won 2. They beat championship side Barnsley in the first round, Showed they are capable of beating sides higher than them.

I fancy this to be a tight game and this could possibly be settled in extra time maybe even penalties.
Crewe don't have a 100% record at home. Brighton beat them on the opening day. From what I saw of Crewe last season they were a pretty poor side and all Nicky Maynard. Maynard's now in the opposition tomorrow night.

Rotherham beat Lincoln and Chester at home and won at Morecombe in between.

That aside, I still wouldnt put you off backing Wolves at that price but I think McCarthy will leave out 1st teamers and if he does that, the price will look silly so ill leave it. But if any Wolves fans come on here, saying theyll play full strength then ill back them.

Rotheram have won all 6 of there last games and Wolves have won 5 and drew once in there last 6 games.

Too hard to call IMO.

Anybody else really fancy Oldham away to Burnley? Oldham beating Leeds 2-0 away and then stuffing Cheltenham 4-0 there on pretty good form. Burnley couldn't even beat Crystal Palace with 9 men on saturday.

I also recall in the carling cup last year Oldham beating Everton (I think)

at 3/1 odds I think it's worth it, they have more then a chance.

They drew against Sheff Wed away from home and won on penalties, I wouldn't be a backer of Wolves at the odds....Already done over a Championship side and getting back there docked points in League Two.

That's why you are getting evens on Wolves.

Wouldn't read too much into them beating us;

We were playing our 3rd choice Left Back in a Right Back position, Handed a home debut to a young striker who had to play on the wing...Deon Burton went off after 60 mins and we didn't have any strikers on the bench...etc...

We hit the bar 3 times and had a goal disallowed. Rotherham pretty much put 10 men behind the ball and scored 1 well worked goal and a lucky-goal line scramble.

We should have been 4 up in the first 20 minutes and I fancy a Wolves side potentially with players like Keogh to open them up and really go to town.

Don't forget, Wolves beat our first team 4-1 just days later, shows the huge gulf in class..

I wasn't impressed with Rotherham and was actually quite embarrased that we couldn't put them away, if you think that Rotherham will keep the pace then I'd consider backing overs, because Wolves will get goals..

Leeds played a full strength squad in the last round and crushed Chester. Palace are obviously a different proposition but with two players sent off on Saturday and playing almost an entire half of football with only 9 men I would think that the last thing they need is tonights game.

Palace overcame Hereford in the last round but did not play very well and the winning goal was some what of a fluke.

They will be without the two suspended players tonight, one of whom is their captain Shaun Derry, the other is Stowcroft.

Leeds look a pretty decent bet to me.

Guys i am considering the under in the Bristol game. Who has any infomation on either of the teams. What has there form been like? Are both sides interested in this cup or more so the league?Injuries and most importantly, are there defences good enough to withstand either squads to keep it to 2 goals minimum?

£2.80 wins you £23.13 (7.5/1) almost!

Don't noramlly do 4 teams! But hey any comments on this bet!!! Or tips for the weekend!!! After watching Pompey last night! It will be a while before i start backing them!!!
Hello Mate

I like the bet only one that concerns me a little is Birmingham I looked at them myself but just though will they go for it here or will they rotate.

QPR also maybe dangerous QPR struggled past Swindon Town 3-2 i was at the game and Swindon should have won. Carlisle are alot tougher than Swindon and QPR will need their A game tonight.

Has a good a chance as any and for £2.80 it will make for an interesting night at least.

I have done similar 4 fold and treble tonight small stakes for some fun.

Good Luck Mate

i fancy Boro to get it done over Yeovil, i see no mention of them by anyone in this thread. Southgate has said they may not be able to win the Premier league, but they can win the Carling Cup, and Mido will be starting today. i'd be surprised by anything but a home win. t houghts?

Being a Pompey Fan and speaking to some Southampton fans beleive me they have serious problems!!! No Money!! No Team!!!! and only 6000 tickets sold in a 32,000 statium!!!! Birmingham & Q.P.R winning me money Saturday!!! £2.80 just the change i had in pocket when walking past Ladbrokes!
