An odd set of prices this week, with lots of small prices appealing, and looking excellent acca, HT/FT and overs material: AFC Telford at Stafford looks particularly good at 8/11 with Coral. More on these later. But why not start furthest out? 5/2 Farsley Celtic away at Harrogate Town is an excellent price with Bet365 and Coral. I've been following Farsley around the markets since Neil Parsley took over and it has paid some dividends. They are still capable of playing miserably, but six wins in the last eight suggests they get it right more than they do wrong. One concern is that Farsley have to fit in a Trophy game at home Burton tonight, so a more sensible punter than me would wait to see if they pick up key injuries. Harrogate are a decent side, but four defeats in five reveal the depth of their current injury crisis. They will get back in form soon, I'm sure, but they are stretched at the moment. Solihull Moors at 9/5 with Bet365 away at Redditch United are another worth a dabble. It's a reduced strength Redditch these days - regulars here will have followed their clearout in postings on here. To be fair they have retained some experienced players and should be capable of getting a result there and there. But Solihull shouldn't be this big; they were decent in beating a cup-feversish Blyth last week and can occasionally trouble sides away from home. I also like Havant & Waterlooville away at Bognor Regis Town, but I'll wait for team news on that on - H&W could be missing a few, though with Robbie Matthews up front they are in danger of honing the cutting edge they've been missing all season.

A speculative one for Boxing Day is the 15/8 BlueSQ are offering about the Fisher Althletic/AFC Wimbledon to finish with four or more goals. If this were a spread bet and total goals were available to buy at over 3.2 I'd be on, expecting to make up the spread. AFC Wimbledon aren't necessarily the sort of side that like to fill their boots normally, but with Fisher's many problems they are likely to finish the game much the stronger, and a 3-1 or 4-0 score isn't out of the question. I also like the 23/10 about there being four-plus goals in the Fleetwood Town/Workington game - two sides who know where the goal is but can't defend. They make a nice double at over 8/1, which is a daft bet but one I've talked myself into. Hey - it's Christmas...

I have to say that i am with ships on havant at bognor @6/5 in general. This is normally a price that you would bite the bookies hands off,but it is this price for a reason of course as we all know and it is the indifferent form of the hawks this season,i do not think that they have won 2 games in a row all season, and the home win on saturday past was the first since august,if i am not mistaken. I feel that trevor hebberd and the board at havant are to be commemded for the patience they have shown ian baird, but patience is not limitless and a win here is vital to set up the play-off push. Lets us be honest baird has got the squad, does he know his best 11?,he has chopped and changed all season, even the bizzare sight of luke nightinggale playing on the left wing at fisher. Still i feel that the hawks will come through here. And i hope to be at the sutton -carshalton game on saturday and i would just like to wish all on the non- league fraternity on the punters lounge seasonal greetings;a nd a big thanks to ships for the superb tips as ever,we are so lucky to get this information for free.

Poor day for me with nothing coming off, and the promised goalfest at Fleetwood not materialising. Good call by Ivor on H&W - they could be a real force in the second half of the season.
