| Difficult to base just on one match so far, but Darlo at Stanley (who were poor at Chester) looks a decent price. Also, for value Mansfield at home to the Mongs...apparently they were excellent going forward at the Shrews at the weekend and are only weak at set pieces. Two value bets...and am tempted to add us to beat the Codheads after they way we played at Wycombe for a treble |

| I think we're an absolute guarantee at Accrington @ 2.75!! Fan favourite Conlon back at his level to solve last seasons goalscoring issues!!! As usual, we look shaky at the back, so i'd expect Stanley to get their 1st league goal at home as they'll be well fired up, but can't see us not scoring a couple at least. Quite fancy Walsall (1.72) and Swindon (1.57) at home too, as they both looked good on Sat. Although if Swindon come up against someone who can actually slot home a penalty ( to the monkey-hangers) then who knows. |

| Big price for Hereford against Lincoln I reckon. A first day win away from home will give them loads of confidence, and if they had a scout at our game yesterday they'll know exactly where to hit us. |

| Stockport look to be too long at Walsall; playing a newly promoted side first up is never fun, so will forgive Stockport Saturday. They seemed to be turning the corner under Gannon end of last term. |

| Really fancy our chances at Bury on Tuesday night. A good solid performance at home to Accrington in which some people predicted us to struggle. We have the makings of a solid side. Will look more into this later, possibly DNB.

| 5pts Darlington 0 AH vs Accrington Stanley 1.97 Pointbet Darlington battered Macclesfield on Saturday and are a side likely to do very well this season. Accrington failed to deliver on their league return and the step up a division may take a while to get used to. I can't see Darlington losing this one so on the 0 AH I'll take my chances they win if not I'll have the stake back! 3pts Swindon -0.75 AH vs Barnet 2.03 Pointbet Swindon have a very strong side and came away from Hartlepool with a lucky 1-0 win but a win all the same. Barnet aren't the strongest side in this league and I can see Swindon winning this a shade comfortably. 3pts Torquay -0.5 AH vs Rochdale 2.08 Pointbet Torquay won at Barnet on Saturday and will want to open their Plainmoor account for the season here. Rochdale are widely expected to struggle this season and their opening day loss suggests that is a fair expectation. It's a hell of a long way from Rochdale to Torquay so they won't have many cheering them on and this has home win written all over it for me. |

| Accrington v Darlington A tough game for the league newcomers following their 2-0 loss at potential champions Chester City over the weekend. They acquitted themselves well but never threatened the Chester goal. Darlington come here full of confidence following their thumping 4-0 home win last week and will be hoping their strikers can carry on. Sodje and Conlon caused the Macclesfield defence problems all afternoon and John Coleman must sort his side out to counter one of the promotion favourites here. Dave Hodgson has bought well and he'll expect to get something from this game if they're to justify that tag. Lay Accrington 10pts @ 3.0 betfair

| Bury v Chester Bury are expected to struggle this season and their 2-1 loss at 10 man MK Dons was not what was expected following their opponents sending off. Chris Casper is a young inexperienced manager who could be found wanting this season. The boost for them is the return to the fold of one time Chester target Mathew Tipton who should provide the cutting edge required up front. Chester started their campaign well with a 2-0 win over Accrington. The team featured only 2 players from last seasons inconsistent effort and will be strengthened tonight with the presence of Ricky Ravenhill, a midfielder who can star at this level with an eye for goal. Gregg Blundell's confidence will be boosted by his goal last week and he'll be looking to add to his tally tonight. Lay Bury 5pts @ 3.1 betfair

| Mansfield v MK Dons MK Dons under Martin Allen are favourites to go up and with hot shot Izale McLeod in the sqaud that is justified. He's a class act in front of goal and it was a surprise to find him start the season for the Dons in League 2. He bagged 2 goals last weekend in their 2-1 win. Allen will install into his side the will to fight every ball and challenge and he can inspire them to a good season. I believe Mansfield could well struggle this season although they did battle well at the Gay Meadow to draw 2-2 with Shrewsbury. Much will depend on Matt Hamshaw. If the Dons can keep him quiet they have a good chance of getting something out of this and justifying the pre-season hype. Lay Mansfield 10pts @ 2.84 betdaq

| Swindon vs Barnet - Barnet look to be pretty poor. They were unlucky to lose to a last minute goal on saturday but that just shows that they may be lacking confidence. They managed to stay up on the last day of the season last year but I dont think theyll have that much luck this year. Swindon on the other hand have just come down from League 1 and should probably do well this year. They started with an away win at Hartlepool who look to have a good season under Danny Wilson and so should go into this match full of confidence. I cant see this result going any other way. Accrington vs Darlington - Accrington started the season with an away loss to Chester at home and will need time to adjust to this league which they probably do not have. They come up against one of the heavyweights of this league in Darlington who got off to a great start to the season at home to Macclesfield romping home 4-0. The odds for Darlington are amazing considering this victory and I would give them a big chance of beating Accrington here. |
