Would you want to be on Forssell when a) he's a sicknote, b) he could easily play for a Premiership club or European club (and he must be on a wedge so they might have to offload him) and c) I'd expect Jerome to be the focal point of their attack. I'm going to post up my Championship thoughts at the weekend. Perhaps by then Luton will have stopped selling players ![]() | |

| i expect something of a cardiff feel to the topcorers list - Chopra certainly looks a good signing for Cardiff, but I'm not sure at this point how much quality his supply line will have - much will depend upon the Koumas Saga. Looking elsewhere, Rob Earnshaw, if he can get his fitness back up, could feature and, as stated, Jerome will bag goals this season - my only concern for him will be the competition for places and I would imagine that goals will be shared out for Brum. Its a dangerous market for me though and it wont see any of my money. Good luck to all those who enter!

| Current best odds , 50/1 Bar Think Freddy Eastwood is a good value e/w shot at 40's, he has continued to step up from each level and scored goals from non-league to Div 1. Normally one or two of the promoted teams do well and I wouldn't bet against Southend. A decent balance of young talent and experience with Eastwood and Ricketts up front they should at least score a few goals. |

| just one other thing to add - this list may not be exhaustive as the transfer window is open for another month.

| Think this market really is wide open. But, I'll be having an each way flutter on Jermaine Beckford, from my team, Leeds. I'm guessing he'll be somewhere round the 100/1. A prolific scorer for Wealdstone in Non league, scoring 35 in 40. Whilst i totally realise its a huuuuuge step up for him, i've seen him in reserve games and a pre season friendly this year and he's looked as sharp as a banjo. He's got explosive pace, an eye for goal and i have no doubt he will trouble many a defence. Whether its this seaosn or not, i'm not so sure, but i'm willing to take a chance at 100/1(ish).

| Does nobody see great value in Ellington @ 18/1? He scored 24 a couple of seasons ago with Wigan in this league and he will be in the team every week considering Campbell has already gone and Kanu looks like he is on his way out. He is very much a confidence player and should go from strength to strength in this league. |

| ROBERT EARNSHAW An excellent player with Premiership and International experience. Signed for £3.5 million he is a real threat in front of goal and has great pace. Earnshaw 3/10 e/w @ 15 william hill JOHN HARTSON Has lots of experience at the highest level and will be a constant threat in front of goal and in the air. With Gera supplying from midfield, Hartson should get lots of chances. Hartson 3/10 e/w @ 19 skybet CAMERON JEROME Was excellent for Cardiff last season scoring . This earned him a £3 million move to Birmingham, and he is probably the hottest property in the Championship. Jerome 3/10 e/w @ 13 skybet MICHAEL CHOPRA Has big game experience playing for Newcastle, and he is a good finisher and could flourish in this division. Chopra 2/10 e/w @ 34 betdirect |
