Default Asian Handicap Query

What is the difference between -1 and - 1.5 in Asian handicap betting.
As far as i'm aware both require the team you are backing to win by 2 goals or more so why are both terms used?

Looking at this bet in relation to St Mirren v Celtic today

On bet 365 Celtic -1.5 are 2.00
Celtic -1 are 1.95

On betfair Celtic -1.0 is as low as 1.43 yet -1.5 is 2.04.

Could anyone clear this up?
Cheers

-1 on AHmes ou get you stak back if they win by only 1 goal
-1 on nomal match handicap means you lose your stake the team only win by 1 goal

Thanks mate, why then is the AH the better price on Betfair.
Looks a cracking bet now if I'm getting my stake back at the very worst.

Celtic won by 1 goal but I didn't get my stake back.

-1 AH (Asian Handicap) you'll get a refund if your team won by exactly 1 goal

you'll win fully of course if your team wins by at least a 2 goal margin or more

-1.5 AH you need your team to win by at least a 2 goal margin or more otherwise you lose.

Now be careful because there is another handicap (-1) often called EH (European handicap)

its effectively EXACTLY the same as -1.5 Asian handicap.

I'm pretty sure thats the bet you had today on Celtic - and that you took it from bet365 yeh?

Yeah mate I took the -1.5 Asian Handicap was just wondering why the odds were so good as opposed to the lower odds i posted in the original post on Betfair.
Cheers for clearing that up
