Also Braga will have to come out and get 2 goals minimum if they want to advance, leaving holes at the back for the likes of Defoe, Lennon and Malbranque to capitlise on.

I may also do
Spurs to win 2-0 and 3-0.

Tottenham hosting Braga after 3:2 win in first match.
Braga will learn few lessons from the first leg and they won't give them so much space as ni Portugal, but still I see Spurs winning again but with lower score.
I'll try Spurs to win with one goal margine again, expekt @3.6, aswell as one goal in the match, Ladbrokes @5. GL~

Only one bet for me this evening, which is over 5.5 bookings in the Rangers game. This was quite a tough opening leg in Glasgow with a number of bookings which may add to the spice, however Rangers will be desperate for a result and if things don't go their way early they will become frustrated hopefully culminating in some bookings. The Spaniards will look to play it tight at the back hitting Rangers on the counter as in Glasgow, however they are going to fight to the death to progress as far as they ever have in European competitions to date. All in all I expect an explosive match with plenty bookings so I am on at 4/5 with Bet 365

Chelsea, Tottenham, Werder B, Plymouth, West Brom and Arbroath,

oh and Leverkusen,

just had 7.50 Euro left over so put it on that accumulator,

returns 150/155...

Well my Spurs predictions seem to be sinking nicely into place!

Spurs to concede.... own goal but hell still counts (hate cheering goal against us though!)

Over 2.5 goals... well three at half time and counting!

I also have a bet that I didn't list here earlier... a hattrick in the game @ 19 .... Berba on two, just hope he doesn't come off at half time!!

I will be going for a spurs/osasuna double tonight.

get in there.

Spurs outplayed Braga in Portugal and deserved more than the result they ended with. Looking sharp attacking and only conceded goals from set pieces. I think at home with the home fans behind the team Spurs will maintain their 100% European record and unbeaten cup record (in 90 minutes) and win again. The only problem with this that I can see is who will partner Dawson at the back. King, Gardner both out through injuries and Rocha out cuptied as he played for Benfica in the CL. I think we will likely play Chimbonda or Stalteri in the centre and hold our own still defensively even with Cerny in goal. Actually admittedly we do look shaky at the back but down the other end I have more than enough confidence to believe that we have a lot more goals to be scored. Berbatov and Keane appear to be a potent strikeforce and I truly believe that we can outscore Braga no matter how many they get.

I will go here with a repeat 3-2 win due to our defensive instability. So over 4.5 goals @ 6.4, 3-2 win @ 32, the Spurs win @ 1.45

ADDED: As Braga need to score to win and Spurs only have one recognised first team centre back available I think the odds of 1.82 at Betfair for Spurs not to keep a clean sheet are tempting.

With Werder Bremen I will leave the write up short as I simply believe that as favourites of the Uefa Cup playing home to a team they have already beaten away that they should have more than enough for the victory. I think Werder Bremen were the unlucky casualties of a very tough CL group and that they are better than the most of the Uefa Cup sides and rightfully at this point favourites to win the trophy. So I think that all points to a home win and seeing as they scored 3 v Ajax last time out I believe they can get a similar number this time and can see a 3-1 win on the cards.

Take my tips liberally as a lot of it was thought out in the open but that's how I can see these games turning out and a double on W Bremen and Spurs works out about evens so not a bad return on two teams who should more than hold their own and go through to the next round with home wins.
Now that's what I'm talking about!!

Backed that all and the 3-2 @ 29 ...so I had a very good night!

Thanks!

Now working my mind to tomorrow night and the Benfica and Newcastle games.

I think Sevilla is on paper such a hard game to call. Depends really what side Sevilla want to put out and how seriously they take the game. I would have thought they would want to defend their title and yet that's not the way they approached the first leg. So I think I will give that game a miss.

Benfica I think will repeat their scoreline of earlier in the week and win 2-0 at home to PSG. That will be enough to win the tie for them in 90 minutes and so I would back U2.5 goals on the game. Benfica are tight defensively at home and give away very little. PSG might well have won at home but travelling to an intimidating venue like Benfica's and trying to get something is an altogether different proposition.

I will edit this tip tomorrow to bring the Newcastle suggestions but right now I'm heading to bed.

Well done to all other winners and GL with any bets on tomorrow!

Well done!

Somehow still up and looking at prices and just backed Monets Garden as my first bet of the day tomorrow. I know it's totally the wrong section but could earn me money to back the football tomorrow! I've just heard a lot of good things about that horse and I think it will be one of the favourites to actually win this week!
