Brave come back, but it shows the real Spurs. They were totally outclassed. Spanish football got a sweet revenge tonight. 3 Spanish matadors in semi UEFA and 3 English patients in semi CL. The other 2 in the big 4 got one each in the shape of Milan and Bremen. Quite balance, and it truly reflects the state of European football at club level this season. The Italian need some more years to recover from the Calciopoli, while the German will need ages to find back their glorious past. Spain and England will dominate European club football for few more years, I guess. Wish their national teams could do the same... bah...

bloody spurs, i'd have been happy if they just got the third, think it was 2-2 and Berbatov side footed it straight at the keeper from about 12 yards, just put ya foot through it man!

useless start was the problem, couldn't cope with their early movement, must admit Referee was a complete twat, every time Kanoute went up for header with Dawson and lost out, would fall over and con a free kick.

Jenas has increased my opinion of how shit he really is.

Still, it was a good game to watch.

Jenas is Mr Inconsistent and at the moment he's mostly playing poor. Makes some silly decisions like that free kick at the end he just blasted straight over the bar. I feel he should have been taken off for Defoe, not Zokora. Zokora was the heartbeat of our comeback and made some glorious forward runs with the ball.

I don't think we played too poorly, we were just left shell shocked by a couple of naive mistakes which cost us an early 2 goal deficit. Once we started to play we looked better and showed some signs of what we are capable of.

I'm gutted that we were knocked out but at the same time feel the European campaign was a good one and that the players will have developed with the experience. I'd imagine we would beat Wigan at weekend as we try to put that loss (on aggregate) behind us and force our way into Uefa Cup again for next season.

I see that there are a lot of Spurs fans here being dissapointed, and now I am not wondering anymore why almost every pick in this thread suggested Spurs to win.

Please next time it would be more helpful for the others if you could mention that you are backing your own team. Just because of the fact, that in many cases fans see everything going around their club through the other "glasses".

Anyway Spurs played very well, but it can be easily noticed that Spanish clubs have been working on defensive tactics in the last year, just look at their league, very few goals are falling in almost all matches.

I know this applies to every Spurs fan posting but whenever I talk about Spurs I tend to say they are my team and talk about bias. I always feel that I'm sided towards them as I will always want them to win. I agree that fans of teams should state their bias before start of game like this too.
