So 4 goal in the 2nd half!

Robbie Keane wins it for Spurs 3-2, unfortunately Robbie Keane was already a result for Anytime goalscorer so nobody would have taken advantage of that market.

You know what? I was few seconds late for 3 winning bets and then lost 2 bets with 2 last minute goals, you know what games I'm talking about. Unbelievable! Damn it! The worst day in my betting career. It has never happened this way before. Arghhhh...

What can I say, I avoid to beat on CL and bet some on UEFA, but really Eurocups are really hard to predict. So maybe the key is go against what they predict?

People do that sort of bets, as they get better odds on 1x or x2.
If lay draw, it means they bet is on home or away.
Hi heniek31,

thanks for the explanation.

Not very strange to me to be honest. Seville's price was very low @ 1.43. Sounds like an in-play trader saw an opportunity to make a killing. Lets say the trader layed Seville for $20,000 at k.o. If there were no goals in the first 15 minutes - that price would have gone out to about 1.68 - 1.71 where he would then proceded to buy back at that price thus netting himself about $5K in 15 minutes and without having to worry about the result of the game.

Sounds standard enough to me The only reason we are discussing this is because the result did not go the way most expected it and this were highlighted. If somebody had backed Seville for $20,000 before and they ran out 5-0 winners, nobody would give a toss!

Second point here is that if the price went to 1.66 instantly then he had made a killing by simply buying back all he could in minutes. He could have made $3k without the match even kicking off

When you had the odds box on screen, click on the selection and a screen will pop up with price movements.

It sounds just about right, mate. I usually bet in play if a team looks nailed on to beat an opponent with crap odd. The price will go up for a win after kick-off, no doubt. The same for Goal line Over. So, lay a team and then buy it back or vice versa will certainly make you some money if you have a good TV, fast internet connection and good eyes for the ball.

My observation also yielded some interesting bets. Spurs usually start slow, so if you definitely take them for a win, try HT/FT Draw/Spurs for better odd. They have done that many times since the day M. Jol came to the club. In contrast, MU fancy fierce attack in the first place to kill off an opponent, so HT/FT MU/MU usually offer better odd for almost the same result. This rule may not work in European Cups but it does often in the Premiership. Look else in Europe and you may find some other teams with more or less the same pattern: Inter, Bremen, Stuttgart and Barca. If they are to win, they usually do it in the first half. This is for domestic leagues only, not European Cups.

Did bet in play yesterday and the goal line for the Spurs game at Ht was something like 3/1 if not more, I caught it at 11/5 around 14th minute as I knew it was going to be over because Spurs were attacking and attacking.

Good point there, I didn't think that far.

I may be confused here, but Sevilla game wasn't in-play.

Ok so - That may be a different story. Although sometimes games can be in play until kick-off and still have opportunities to recoup a profit before the kick off and in play is suspended. Wasnt trading that night so I cant give a proper answer..
