Zenit look huge to me at 2.22 on Betfair. Not just the battering of Bayern, but they have quality throughout the team, Rangers have done well to get to the final (and I want them to win), but they were holding on against Fioentina and I do not think St Petersberg will be quite so forgiving when the time comes.
Both teams have good defense, and Rangers were tough to break down.
Its always hard to go to Russia on an away leg and Manchester will be different and in Rangers favour but just think Zenit will be too stron and I'm surprised about the odds, and am gonna take it

You sure it will be an open game FT?? The key to Rangers sucess has been boring their opposition to submission by failing to get out of their own half, personally I would be astounded if tonights game doesnt follow the same way. Rangers know no other way to play whether it be domestically or in europe. If they come out and have a go they'd be playing in to zenits hands as they love to counter attack, another reason for Rangers to park the team bus on the goal line. I think the biggest stick on will be under 2.5 goals, dunno what the price is but defo something that interests me

i personally have layed rangers to win in 90mins on betfair at 3/1

i think zenit will win the cup but think they may struggle to get to grips being the favourites and attacking.

all the other games they have started as "underdogs" and have that great counter attack we all speak off.

but then i cant see rangers scoring in open play. i think rangers only real hope of a goal would be from a set piece particarly corner kicks which they have scored of lately

its not just B.Munich they've dispatched, won easily against Leverkusen and Marseille, not the worst teams in the world, Rangers have managed to do enough to get through each round, technically the Russians are a much better squad, Arshavin will be a key player tonight.

Zenit have been impressive in their last few UEAF Cup games while Rangers have been dour and have given little away. Zenit have played some very good attacking football and look to them to finally open up a defence minded Rangers side that have offered little in attack in their last few UEFA Cup games.

Big bet on draw at half time at even money. I think that this game will be very tight similar to the Euro 2004 final where Portugal attacked the Greece goal for the mojority of the game. Zenit will be the dominate side in this game but I feel they will have trouble spliting the tight defence of Rangers expecially early on.

I hope Rangers win and think they totally deserve to be there, all that "negative football" stuff is from journalists who ave never kicked a ball or jealous fans of other clubs, although me heart says Rangers and head says Zenit.

There is 1000s up on 1000s of Rangers fans here, cannot move anywhere and the fans are in good voice, the ratio of fans is easily 20:1 from rangers:zenith. But 90% of them don't have tickets, now I did think Zenith will win the cup, but now after thinking I reckon Rangers will get it, they may have been lucky to get there but they have done it by defending well. This is THEIR cup final and the only cup they want, ask any Rangers fan and they want this cup more than any other. Zenith I think may be a bit overrated, it iwll be a tight game I can see it going to ET and possibly pens, But I'm going to have to go with Rangers winning and lifting the Uefa Cup
