Think Udinese could be worth some consideration @ 33 with Boylesports and Canbet now. Udinese have started the Italian league season very well, sitting 1 point behind current leaders Milan. Udinese beat my team, Spurs, well recently and looked solid at the back and were able to grab a couple of goals themselves. I think this price is one that can potentially be traded on in the future too.

i agree with dj udinese look a really good side, for me ac milan/valencia/ajax will deffo win at home, and potentially tottenham after turning the corner, udinese are the only side id take away right nw, floro flores, quag and di natalie are all very dangerous!

How about CSKA Moscow? Beat a decent Depor easy 3-0 leaving out key players.
Also won this a couple of years ago....also 33/1

The outcome is uncertain, Udinese have no pressure of results, they will probably rest several bets players but their reserves are also good players. Don’t let the size of the club fool you. Friuliani are not so great a name in Italian football but they one of the best Apennines clubs at the moment. It even seems that they are better than Roma even than Fiorentina. Perhaps UEFA Cup is not so important competition for Italian clubs but the reserves are eager to prove their quality

from freebetting
is that true?then udinese might lose

anabelle that may be true, yes they havent got a great squad but they do have some really quality forwards they have only lost once to juventus all season, i dnt think there the kind of team to rest players for the eufa cup i mean its a big deal for udinese!

Man City have an easy draw against Copenhagen but Tottenham and Villa look likely to struggle against Shakthar Donetsk and CSKA Moskow respectively.

@ WHUPUNTER
With the current form in EPL and the experience I had when City faced Nordsjalland before the group stage , in my modest opinion value moves toward the Danes. It will be ever so important to follow the transfer window. With Man City we all know they want to buy everything worth 20+ millions, I will wait for news from Copenhagen - keeping the top names in January to me would be a ''stay away'' message. Two reasons :
- FCK seem to be in the Euro Cups forever and it is a a fact that experience in these ties is often crucial. I only watched them 3 times this season, only because a friend had a solid antepost bet on Brondby. What I saw was great tactics and some very good players. FCK remind me of a good French team, the kind of team one would expect to lose vs Man City, and then before you know with 2 fast breaks they are 2-0 up within 10 mins,
- for betting purposes Man City are currently at 13,5 with betfair while FC Copenhagen are at 210. Suppose City go through as expected, odds will go down to hopefully 9,00. A possible good profit already, but a surprise win by FCK will bring them down to 150 or less. In terms of percentage it will be almost the same imo, but a 25 Euro stake will give you the same as 200 with Man City. IMO this pair in UEFA is the best choice to hunt value with the underdogs and the most probable upset/if any at all at this stage!!!!
I am staying away, for the sake of everyone who backed City earlier - fingers crossed! I still think we are having the case of clearly underestimated smaller club with great Euro experience VS an absolutely over-rated average club with great ambitions. I also think there's some good money for me to be made in both legs on the AH.
BOL

P.S. Bit more than a week later, with City thrashing Hull and coming back from 2-0 down at Blackburn's must admit they are clear favourites, but those high odds for FCK are still not justfied imo...

What do you think about Olympiacos?
Very strong team at Karaiskakis.
The one and only team in Europe now, who win all (13) home matches in this period!
In 3 home matches for uefa cup, have 3 wins with 14-1 goals!

In next round play with Saint Etienne.

I bet on CSKA Moscow @ 40, I just wish I had bet on them earlier.

I watched almost all their games and they seemed very solid, definitively a serious contender in my eyes.

Apart from that, I think that russian clubs give their 100% in the UEFA Cup since their domestic league is over. Something that couldn't be said for some major European teams.

Forza CSKA

Nicko, mabe an ignorant comment from me as I had not researched Copenhagen. And they seem very capable, of at least giving City a run for their money. I think the tie will be decided in tonights first leg in Copenhagen. If City can escape with a draw, or even a win, tie over in my opinion as they should have enough to win at Eastlands 2nd leg.

However, if Copenhagen can take a lead to Manchester and City attack them, like you say, Copenhagen are very capable of scoring on the break so only time will tell.

I would be laying Tottenham at this stage anyway. A League Cup final and a relegation scrap are much more important to Redknapp and his squad than the Uefa Cup, especially seeing as they could qualify for it next term with victory in the domestic final

They face a tricky test against Donetsk and are resting 9 first teamers for tonights first leg.

I've just taken Shaktar at 20/1 e/w with William Hills to win this as i believe that with CSKA only winning 1-0 at home and Shaktar dominating that match this scoreline could very easily be overturned at home with Zhirkov missing and after Shaktar's 3-0 away win to Metalistin the league they'll be full of confidence.
Ladbrokes are only going 14/1 and if they knock out CSKA i'm sure they'll drop to around 4's or 5's 2nd favourites.
Man City are just too over rated and wouldn't go anywhere near them as favourites for this competition as they just can't play well away from home.
