ReasoningThe Celtic is a good teams at home, won the three games in the CL that made in the front of its fans and in premier of scotland it won 13 and it tied up to a game in 14. The Milan won its last game against the Udinese away, but it had luck and it has some time does not come playing well. Dida will not play today, Serginho, In this, Ronaldo and Inzaghi, but the Celtic also will have important players injuried and doubtful for today. In its domestic league is 19 points in the front of the Rangers, what it gives more tranquillity to think to it only about this game. But Milan has good squad and draw is very probable today, therefore I go in Celtic not to lose

Celtic hosting Milan.
Home side did good at home till now, beating FC Kopenh., Benfica and even Manchester.
Milan lost one, drew one and won one away from home.
I wouldn't say Milan is closer to victory tonight like odds suggest, although I'm not so convinced Celtic should win it aswell. Milan will try not to loose but I guess even a minumum loss with goal scored won't be a disaster.
Maybe draw is perfect choice, but I will just LAY Milan.
Also I don't expect a game without goals. I see at least 2 and I will LAY Under 1.5 goals, betfair @2.84.

Real Madrid hosting Bayern.
Both teams in crisis lately in their respective leagues.
But Bayern did better in CL in group stage, where they had 3-3-0 score, and did better away from home actually, winning with Sporting and with Inter. Real had 3-2-1 score.
We shouldn't witness some great spectacle tonight, but I'm sure Bayern won't be so bad like in Bundesliga. I expect much better performance by them, and really think they can stay undefeated.
Real's game is pretty impotent lately, and I just can't see how they intend to score and win against Bayern, who despite all did good in CL.
Real will miss important Ramos, and Diarra...
I will LAY Real, betfair @2.16. GL~

PSV hosting Arsenal.
Home team will miss few players and their form is not best lately.
Tight match expected as PSV will try not to conceede and Arsenal knows also how to close their net.
Not sure about the winner but we shouldn;t see here more then 2 goals.
I will LAY Over 2.5 goals, betfair @2.82. GL~

Just taking one:

Soccer - Manchester United - moneyline (+100)
for the regulation time held on Feb 20 at 2:45pm [pending]

Even money seems value to me when you're talking about a team that can score and win on the road against a very out of form Lille. I discount (slightly) the past results between these two. I think this can be a game that Man U control from the start.

I gambled and lost. Was hoping that odds would drop to around 2,50, but almost only 1 hour left until match starts, and odds is for laying Milan is 2,66

EventCeltic - Milan

ReasoningCeltic in good form at home in Scotland, where only one league match has been lost, and the last 6 have been won (13-1-0 at home). Still, on Thursday they meet an opponent of a completely different caliber. However, the Hoops home stats in Europe is nothing else than impressive. In their last 25 home matches, they've only lost once, vs Barcelona. This includes matches against teams like Man Utd, Milan, Barcelona again, Bayern Munich, Liverpool. According to bbc Beattie, Vennegoor of Hesselink and Zurawski are all doubtful.

Milan would be 4th in Italy without point deductions. Might be favourites to qualify for the next round, but will find it very hard to win in Scotland. In good form (5-1-0), but let in 3 goals in their last match. Not easier for Milan with Inzaghi, Ronaldo and Boriello all missing.

As the observant punter will notice, this bet (and its arguments) is made on the basis of why Celtic will not loose, and not why Milan will not win

Reasoning Champions league is the only target that left to Milan for the season and I think that they will play very strong to take the advantage from the first game.

I can think of worse bets at 1.78, but Over5.5 offsides in the Real Madrid match this evening seems reasonable to me. The only analysis that is necessary... ..........................................Ruud Van Nistelrooy

My bets are:
PSV-Arsenal....2 (PSV is out of form and i think Henry and Adebayor will make a lot of problems at PSV`s defenders)
Real-Bayern.....Over 2.5 goals (I think Champions League games are for these big teams..I know that both teams have problems to score BUT as we know Van Nistelroy..Robihnio..Bekam..Guti......Makay...Sant a Crouz......are big players for big games..

Inter Milan vs valencia = X2

This match on wednesday between Inter Milan and Valencia is the first out of two knockout matches. The other match in Valencia will be played at the 3 of march.

But this first match i really dont belive much in Inter Milan. yes they have played very well this season, and won a lot of games. But still when it comes to CHL, i don believe much in Inter Milan and Manchester United.

It is because they alway manage to play like (censored) in the knockout matches.

For me, Valencia plays more like a hole team right now, and especially after the 2-1 victory over barcelona the other day.

So my bet is X2 on valencia to odds 1.90 at expekt.com and probably higher at betfair.com (right now the odds is :2.07 at betfair.com)

ReasoningI think this could be the best match on the round. Inter is really on a good form but I don't know what they can do against Valencia who just beat Barcelona at home and they will want to get a good result. I think this can be a draw

ReasoningLast year chelsea got eliminated in this round against Barca so they would want to move up this year even though they look worse with their injuries, boulharouz (don't know spelling) is also added to them. Porto also doesn't look good but they gained morale after the 4-0 win in the league. I think this one is close to Chelsea, but if Porto fans put pressure on'em, it can end a draw which I think will be enough for Chelsea.

To me, Arsenal jumps off the page. I hit it last night PK (1.80) pretty hard. PSV has some injury issues. I also felt that Arsenal really held back in the FA this weekend looking forward to this match. They are the superior side.

I have a smaller play on Lille +.5 (1.86). I like Man U at home, but on the road in CL they have dissapointed. Lille has only lost 2 times at home all season, the most recent being a stunning comeback by Lyon last Friday. Hoping Lille doesn't have a hangover from that debacle. I think Man will be happy to get out with the draw, and crush Lille at home.

Utd: VDV, Neville, Vidic, Ferdinand, Evra, Ronaldo, Scholes, Carrick, Giggs, Rooney, Larsson.

Arsenal: Lehman, Gallas, Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Hleb, Cesc, Gilberto, Rosicky, Herny, Adebayor.

I've layed the two home teams tonight, as both away teams are fielding very strong sides.

Not convinced Lille are going to take the game to United, with their 4-5-1 formation, and can see them wanting a draw, and going for the result at OT.

PSV have been a bit patchy in recent games, and missing Farfan is a massive blow imo. Wenger will want to get a result tonight, and that is reflected in the lineup.

yeah, I actaully just cancelled out my Lille +.5 play. I don't think they are out there to win today after chatting it over. No play on that one for me.
