I went for a United and chelsea double, Mourinho will go all out on his old team and to prove critics wrong at the moment, whereas Lille will be so down atm having lost the league to Lyon in the last 10mins of a match where they could have been back in contention for the title! Both even money!

Selection :

1-Bayern (0) Ah
2-Under 2.5 goal.

I stay behind on my bet,i know how difficult is this match for both team.
ı read from German press that Capello resign, but i dont know the realisms this news.My first selection is Away win and i dont believe on a draw here.

Good luck ,but Barca have any problems between players and coach an it will be not easy too score 2.5 goal here.

real madrid - bayern
under 2.5
odds : 1.65 @ fonbet
reasons :both teams have too many problems in scoring and also both coaches are good on defensive tactics

Celtic FC - AC Milan

Milan have offensive troubles.
Ronaldo can't play, Inzaghi is injured and Gilardino is probable so defensive play from Milan would be too suprisingly in Scotland

Under 2 goals - 2.06 @ 10Bet

Yes...in all the games the line is U 2, not 2.5, which makes it very dicey to me to play the under...I haven't made any bets yet, and may stay away from the CL completely at this point. It seems the ones that appear to be overs go under, and vice versa, and in the qfinals don't teams start to be less aggressive as a rule?

BOL with all your bets!

PSV v Arsenal

I think you have to take on psv at the moment since their return from their winter break they havent been the psv of old. They won at the weekend at Hercaleus and to be honest the 2-0 scoreline severly flattered PSV with last minute goal they look clueless up front for most of the match and their oppenents are a pretty poor side. Arsenal on the other hand dont really have a match this weekend as the big guns be rested during the carling cup final and with the reply in the FA cup i think arsenal will go out to win the tie here and now. My only draw back is the psv defence with Alex and Gomes who are of a better standard than most players in holland, so a low scoring draw could be possible but arsenal not to lose.

Max stake Arsenal(0)

celtic - milan

Ill be at celtic park tonight in what will be another noisy affair, for all we are very poor away from home in this competition, we are very strong at home ( think its won 8, drew 3 and lost 1 ) which is on par with anyone in europe - this list takes into account milan, juventus, man utd, barca, bayern munich, porto, shakhter, lyon etc.. it cant all be coincidence - we now have a world class keeper in boruc and major potential match winners in nakamuras free-kicks ( scored another on saturday ) and dutch international vennegor of hesselink up front. That said, milan will be aware of this and come to shut up shop and take advantage of our poor away form -

under 2.5 goals is as solid a bet ive seen for a while.

Celtic +0.5 AH is a safer bet for me. I don't like the overs/unders option its basically a 50% chance.
From the reviews ive read on this forum, Celtic will likely not lose at home! - so +0.5 is a good bet for me.

BTW celtic have a full squad?

Well our scotland colleagues will be better at celtic squad, but as I heard Venegoor of Hasselink is probably not playing, MAciley Zurawski also very doubtful, so celtic will have to relay on Millers fitness and I just think it will not be enough for milans BIG defence. On the other side Milan as we saw earlier has many problems upfront with Ronaldo tied, and Gilardinho doubtful, but one good thing for them is that Gilardinho made his way in training and could well play from start of the game. Forgot to mention that Inzaghi is also sidelined due to muscle injury.
My pick here will be under 2.5 goals with large stakes considering the problems both team has at front. Milan coming here with wishes for clean sheet, and celtic infront of their great fans will do their best and also could win abot 1:0 or something like that. Celtic not to lose is also nice bet in my opinion. đ
Good luck to you all tonight and I hope this wil end in nice 0:0 draw

Real - Bayern
Pick: 0:0 at half time at 2.7 @ betfair

Teams out of form. Very low scoring. Big problems in organizing good attacking football. No value in under bet so I pick goalless first period.

Celtic - Milan
Pick:
0:0 at half time at 2.7 @ betfair
Milan arriving toothless with no offense. They will play defensively as always. Will not rush for early goal. They will stood up the ealry minutes home pressure from Celtic and then will focus more on not to concede than to score. Probably trying to score a late goal that will decide the match. Really don't expect Celtic to break Milan defense in the first half. No value for under bet at 1.6 at betfair.

Trying to guess the winning team seems like mission impossible for tonight games. I suggest to focus on goals.

Cheers Witchking, just be aware of celtics set-pieces, you are right milan will defend wisely, but it is well probably that celtic could score some crapy goal from free kicks even in first half. Just take it as advice and good luck anyway

There is a doubt at the moment about Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and he is a key man for me in terms of my bet tonight.

In terms of Kenny Miller, he's not been playing recently as Craig Beattie is the preferred option at the moment. He's scored 2 goals in 2 games, and has a pretty good partnership with JVH. Beattie makes terrific runs, and finds space in a way Henrick used to do so well.

As for Nakamura, he is critical for set pieces, but his overall play has improved significantly recently. I believe he's now more used to pace and the physical side of Scottish fitba' now.

I don't know much about Milan, but if they come defensive to Celtic Park, Celtic will edge out the game, with Milan fancying themselves to turn it around in Milan with Celtics awful away form.

Naka and JVH play, I'm on Celtic +0 (4 pts)

Fancy the draw in Real-Bayern. Should be well possible in a game in which both don't come with much force and self-confidence. Bayern's performance at Aachen overall was poor though in first half it was just about missing chances. Bayern field Podolski tonight and surely have the potential to sneak a draw just like Betis did. On Real side, there seem to be even more rumours.

Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event CL, PSV - Arsenal
Selection Arsenal (0) (Asian Handicap)
Strength 10/10
Date 20/02/2007
Bookmaker/Price Betdaq @ 1.75 (Back)
Reasoning CL is a good and maybe the only chance for Arsenal's to win something this season, and although PSV away is not an easy task its surely something Arsenal, with their experience and great record in Eurocups can overcome. PSV's form have not been great after new year, draw vs Sparta and lost to AZ at home, and imo PSV were better away in the CL group stage. Arsenal have improved and I think they may very well win this one, so dnb at 1.75 seems like a wize bet.

Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event CL, Real M - Bayern M
Selection Under 2.25 goals (Asian Handicap)
Strength 10/10
Date 20/02/2007
Bookmaker/Price Betdaq @ 1.81 (Back)
Reasoning This is a match between two teams in bad shape, who will be eager not to loose more than looking to win. Real have scored 3 goals last 5, and 12 goals in 11 home games. Bayern have scored 3 goals last 5, and 17 in 11 home games, but only two inte last 3. I think both teams will suffer from the pressure they are under and we will see two unconfident and cautious teams. I really can't see a high scoring match.

Sport Football (Euro Cups)
Event CL, Lille - Man U
Selection Man U (0) (Asian Handicap)
Strength 10/10
Date 20/02/2007
Bookmaker/Price totesport @ 1.90 (Back)
Reasoning Time for Manchester United to get their revenge, and the timing looks perfect as Lille have been struggling with bad form and difficulties to score lately. Lille have only scored 2 goals last 5 matches, and lost their second home match in the leauge last round vs Lyon. Its not a disaster to loose to Lyon, but the problems they have up front looks more alarming. Manchester United's form needs no furtehr analyzis, 9-2-2 away, and surley they can get a win here, I think things have changed for the better since their shaky away performances in the group stage.

Also MU (0) is 1.33 @ bet365, soo can't be 1.90 at other bookie. If you took the odds from odds comparison site, it must be an error.
