Ok...

Hammarby: No new injuries, same squad as last match, except for changing one replacement player.

Djurgården with quite a few problems/missings:

Attacker Jonsson still injured, also midfielder Batan, but he's not very important. Captain, central defender Johannesson suspended, midfielder Davids not fit for 90 minutes (according to DIF's fansite).

Attackers Dahlberg and Qurinho questionable, if they can't play Djurgården won't have many options up front, only one attacker, Kusi-Asare available.

Trelleborg not to score @ 2.00 (Nordic)>>> 2-0
AIK dnb @ 2.07 (Pinnacle) >>> push
Gefle - AIK under 2.5 goals @ 1.87 >>> 0-0

Glad I dared following my thoughts today. Noticable that 1/2 huge favourites not only won but also covered the hcp.

disappointing day for me in Sweden with GAIS once more fcuking things up, this time getting a 1-1 draw in Helsingborg

Finally a 0-0 arrives and I'll take a push in that Gefle match

a shame to miss out on Elfsborg 2-0 win but then again their odds were poor

well done on those 2 winners GG

This isn't a league I have a clue about but statistically speaking I favour Djurgardens and am pleased to see they are the underdogs in this one (albiet a very marginal one). Hammarby have lost their last 2 home games, Djurgardens won their last 2 away games and Djurgardens won this fixture last year 3-0.

Djurgardens to win @ 2.82
Djurgardens 2-0 @ 17
Djurgardens 3-0 @ 36

All with Betfair. Gl

Country: Sweden
Match: Hammarby v Djurgarden
Date: 19/6/07
Time: 20:00 cet
Reccomended Bet: Djurgarden (0) AH @ 1.98 Canbet 3/10

I favour DIF to beat Hammarby at Rasunda stadium. There is no home advantage here so both teams play on neutral ground and DIF are the team that is most in form. They have collected some dcecent wins recently which has made sure they have moved up towards the top of the table whilst Hammarby are in a bit of a rut period. Traditional H2H have it that DIF do well in this fixture and they have lost just 1 of their last 12 against their deadly Stockholm rivals. Bookies cant split the team but I'd have DIF as favourites here which is why im more than happy to accept the level ball 1.98 offer.

And what about missing players. For Djurgarden - Asare, Johanenson, Batan, Dahlberg, M. Jonson. Only Arneng is back. Can they score without this players.

For Hamarby Monteiro is out, no other problems.

Asare will play, the others are out, I guess Sjölund or Amoah will play up front instead of Jonsson/Dahlberg. I think Djurgården will have a strong starting line up, but very few alternatives on the bench. Atm I slightly favour Hammarby, but this is a very tough match to predict. I don't agree with Djurgården being so much better, Hammarby played very well away vs Halmstad, should have won instead of 2-2, but also a draw in Halmstad a good result. Djurgården have won three in a row now, vs AIK and Göteborg they came back after the opponants scored an early goal, I don't think they can pull that of again. I'm not to impressed by Djurgården's performances, Hammarby have played better football this season when things have worked for them, Hammarby's problem is that they don't score enough from their chances and that they are too much up and down, very good mixed with really poor.

No idea about this league so maybe i can help
The best statistic is Djurgarden to score first. Last 6 meetings when Djurgarden away they score first 5 times and when they didnt they lost.

Also they mostly score in second half, but mostly first against Hammarby.

b-busta you might want to be careful betting on djurgarden to score first, only twice in the last 9 games have djurgarden scored first, however something to look out for is djurgarden claim points when conceding first. they have won their last 2 after conceding first, so if djurgarden concede first then they may be a good bet in-running on the exchanges, price could drift to maybe 5 or greate

Hammarby v Djurgarden

Is it being played at a neutral venue?

OOPS Just read Meatmans post a bit more carefully (must read all posts first without jumping in)

Yes, all Stockholm derbys with AIK, Djurgården and Hammarby involved played at Råsunda.

Thanks for the warning RedWing,
Your absolutly right and its attribute to their "superior fitness" or so they claim in the website. Know nothing about the Allsvenskan, only the stats.
But this Derby is different for Djurgarden, they allways score first v Hammarby. I just wanted to point out this is the most consistent statistic.

As for the game i cant see Hammarby lose after not winning in 3 games, but dont think its a good betting game at all.

If Sjölund starts 5.0 for him to score might be worth a shot...he scored 2 vs AIK in the last derby and 5.0 is a good price for a starting forward. Bet365...

Hammarby hosting Djurgardens.
Two teams with different forms. Hammarby without a win in their last 3 games, while Djurgarden won their last 3.
This game will be played on Rasunda, so a bit of a neutral ground.
Djurgardens have good record with Hammarby, in their last ten matches Djurgardens are 6-2-2 with them.
I think they are capable of winning again despite few missings, they are on a great run and I expect them to show that in this game aswell.
I will try a win with one goal margine, bet365 @4.5. I see it as 0:1 or 1:2, so good option would be also number of goals: Odd, VC bet @2.02. Maybe for some cover. GL~

Expekt is offering a free bet on tonights game, on HT/FT odds only. It might just be for the Swedish betters, not sure. Anyway I was thinking to grab a little bet myself on this. What do you guys think could be a good option to take. I'm thinking X/1 @ 5.75 as I do favour the home team a bit here. However my main concern is that histoy doesn't seem to support a draw at HT.

Under 2.5 goals @ 1.98 (Betdaq)
This bet goes against stats, but the way I see it this match will be a tough battle on the midfield, Hammarby will try to make sure they don't allow goals from corners and free kicks like last match vs Halmstad, and Djurgården will have to control Hammarby's quick attacking. These two teams are very even imo, despite Djurgården's missings, and I can't find a winner, but I give under a higher percentage than 1.98, around 1.90 would be my odds.

I took the overs in last summer's match, it was Djurgarden 3-0 before the half, but then the Hammarby supporters rioted late in the game, and it was suspended and all bets were off. Lost what would have been a very tidy sum.

I am leaning toward the overs simply because derby games are typically so crazy, neither team will want to lose this one...of course this assumes a 1-1 scoreline usually...I can't get a handle on the game, but the overs are even money still so might try it. BOL
