15.july : Helsingborg - AIK Solna
odds 1,65 at X2 at betfair

AIK Solna have played a good season so far and they are the second best team away in the swedish allsvenskan with a stats of 3-1-2. They are overall number 3 in the league with a 7-4-2 stats and a goalscore of 16-11.

Helsingborg is on the other hand the most scoring team in the league, but they have a major weakness in the defense with letting 16 goals in, in 13 matches.I think that the match will be close. Most likely draw 1-1 or a victory with 0-1 for AIK. »

What do you think about the match ?

Solna had draw last game at home 2-2 against poor GAIS.
I'll play 1 AH on Helsingborg (1.63 bwin)

IFK Göteborg - Gefle IF

A draw result would have reflected the match better between Djurgården and Göteborg but the late winner was also an indication of strength for the champions. Now they will host Gefle who are in a troublesome situation still despite the win at Elfsborg, losing at home to Trelleborg who are direct competitors in the table was a major disappointment. They had a hard time threatening in front of the opponents goal and of course Oremo has left a hole in the squad after leaving for Djurgården, the home side will be missing central defender Bjärsmyr because of suspensions but otherwise their squad has more and more available players. Göteborg must be very eager to destroy the poor image they left on the home fans in the 0-2 loss against Trelleborg and should be clear favourites here, Gefle can stand a chance if they get their defensive positioning perfectly right but I have a hard time seeing them get anything here.

I like the price on the over here even though Gefle are an under side especially on their travels, with Bjärsmyr out as well as all their attacking options viable the hosting team looks more set for goals. They also have a good goals scored average at home, the pitch at Nya Ullevi is likely to be in a somewhat poor condition but considering how much of the home side's football that is based on crosses and balls in the air it won't be a massive blow.

Pick: Over 2.5 goals, 2.16 @ Sbo, Stake 6/10

Have you got any news on injured players? Stats for last few games they played, played together?

Helsingborg - Djurgarden Sweden Allsvenskan 21-07.2008

Unexpected poor run of Djurgarden lately . From the last 5 games they took only 1 point.
Also a dissapointing draw in the Uefa Cup against Flora Tallin , at home, 0-0.

Fans are angry and have officialy expressed it.

But the fact is that Djurgarden was a bit unfortunate too. They had a lot of unavailables , due to injury , in the last games.
Now tthings look to be heading in the right direction, with a lot of players coming back from injuries.

At their last training session players trained well, the athmospere was a good one , all players showing appetite for football, according to reports from Sweden.
I am sure that they are aware of the team's current situation and that they will try as hard as they can for this one.
Asare missed the training due to family reasons , but he will be available for the game.

Still the guests won't count on Aki Riihilahti ,Daniel Sjölund , Mikael Dahlberg , Kristian Junegard ,Oskar Wahlström , but like i said the situation improved a lot regarding to the last games.

Helsingborg seem to be going from an extreme to another. Their offence is very powerfull, but defence isn't that solid.

Their morale and confidence are at high levels following the good results from their last 3 games.

With Larsson upfront supported by Lantz they can score aginst any team in Sweden.

Coaches are aware that this is a hard game as both teams are impredictable , so the best approach will be to make your own game the way you are used too , without thinking to much at the opponent.

Coaches statements:

Siggi Jónsson, Djurgaden:

"It is a difficult Away Match, quite clear. But now we go out and find it a fun challenge rather than to be most concerned that it not to go well we have had a tendency at the end.

Bo Nilsson, Helsingborg:

"Djurgården have a good team and now they can strike from a disadvantage.
It is difficult to know if there is a right or wrong time to meet Djurgården, we know that afterwards."

Under these circumstances over looks to be the best bet for this game, taking also in consideration Djurgarden's current situation.

BET : Pick OVER 2.5 goals
STAKE: 5\10
ODDS: around 1.85
