On first glances Goteborg look like good value at 1.85. Goteborg are a good away team with a record of 4-2-2 while on the other hand their oponents Orgryte are pretty poor at home with a record of 1-2-5

Recent history between these two sides is also lop sided favouring Goteborg, since 1995 the records are 4-3-16 with Goteborg winning the last 5 in a row. At this ground it is 2-2-7 so Goteborg are more than capable of winning here again.

Goteborg have aspirations of getting promoted and they wont drop this match to cellar dwellers Ogryte.

If anybody has some team news which suggests otherwise, that would be much apreciated

Adam

By looking on the history of Örgryte v IFK Göteborg it looks like an over.
In the last 8 years, those teams met 18 times and 14 meetings ended in an over 2.5
I'm going to try it small stakes.

ReasoningKalmar is in great form lately winning last three games. They won away games against such good teams like Djurgardens and Hammarby.Today there are playing against the weakest Allsvenskan team Osters.Osters are terribe away with only 4 points and 2 goals scored so far. They've won only 1 games from previous 10.I can see only one result here and it's a home win

ReasoningAt this price I'm willing to give it a try. This is a derby match and even if Orgryte is weak this season everything can happen.Especially when they are playing at home. Most of the people are betting on IFK but I will go the opposite way and bet on home side.It was never easy for IFK to win games at Orgryte. Both teams need points in this match desperatelly and with a bit of luck home side can take at least one point here.

08/05/2002 Orgryte 2-1 Goteborg
10/09/2002 Goteborg 2-5 Orgryte
27/05/2003 Goteborg 5-2 Orgryte
30/09/2003 Orgryte 4-1 Goteborg
04/05/2004 Orgryte 1-2 Goteborg
09/08/2004 Goteborg 4-0 Orgryte
24/05/2005 Goteborg 3-0 Orgryte
29/08/2005 Orgryte 1-2 Goteborg
10/05/2006 Goteborg 2-1 Orgryte

They have no draw in each others game.
And i think orgryte is not enough strong to take the three point here.

Interesting points Randall! I agree with you on Kalmar even though 3 straight wins for a team leads me to worrying about a setback. BUT Öster is pure crap and I honestly wanted them out of Allsvenska ASAP , no sorry, didn'mt mean to offend anyone but I do think they have a weak team even after the arrivals of Figureido and Bennet!...I have decided to go for a (-1) AHC at odds 2.03 just to get some more value in the match. Even though Kalmar aren't known to win by large margins I think 2.03 is worth a punt considering that a 2-0 win is not unlikely in my oppinion. If Kalmar win by 1 I at least get my money back.

About ÖIS - IFK I do think you have an interesting bet but I have decided to back IFK thinking that they will not miss the opportunity to get three point and position them self at the same place as Elfsborg. Have a good feeling in my left foot about Selakovic scoring once or twice today!

Anyway, good luck with the bets!!!

Actually there is 2 derbys today. Örgryte IS - IFK Göteborg and Kalmar FF - Östers IF. I agree with Randall that Örgryte could upset Göteborg. The main reason for that is named Ailton. He is one of the best players in the league and has already been bought by FC Copenhagen. Very small stake on Örgryte. After all this is a derby.

Kalmar should win today at Fredriksskans and they only miss one player but he is not an important player. Kalmar has a very good defensive and some brazilians up front who stands for the creative and making the goals. Derby is always hard to make a call who to win. But the tradition says that Kalmar will win as Öster has not won a derby since 1986! I have made a bet on -1, moneyback if Kalmar wins with one goal. Odds over 2 feels good for this bet.

Good luck

Great call mate at good odds!!!

I am finding these Scandinavian leagues very inconsistent and it appears as if any side can beat the other on any given day, whether they be on top or on bottom.

The best bet for tomorrow (wednesday) is Halmstad!

I have looked on the games for tomorrow and I think Halmstad will get 3 points in Göteborg. GAIS will probably miss 9 players to this game! 6 is injuried and 3 will miss due to suspension. James Keene, the topscorer will miss this game and this is a HUGE loss for GAIS. GAIS also miss his teammates upfront. They only have one striker left to the game, Edier Frejd. This means GAIS will play with only one striker and he has not even scored yet so far this season.

Suspended: James Keene, Jonathan Berg and Johann Gudmundsson

Berg and Gudmundsson is wingers on the midfield and is also very important for the team.

Halmstad does not miss any important players and their centraldefenders is fit for fight! Halmstad will go for 3 points here.

GAIS will probably be very happy with a draw so they will play very defensive. I will go for asian hcp on Halmstad and straight win.
0, +0.5 1.72 Ladbrokes and (2) 2.85 Unibet.

I think this is a great bet and the odds will be slashed for sure.

Good luck!

PS. I would like to put a small bet on AIK in tomorrows derby in Stockholm.

Hi guys!

What do you think about Elfsborg away at Hacken?
.... and Trelleborg vs Dagerfors? I'm considering them to be part of my combo... Hacken X2 is already in

Any info would be appreciated.

Happy punting!

I do not rate Helsingborgs much but they are playing well at the moment....price is short as Gefle have a few good players that can ruin bets...
