Referring to older threads about RL: Hammarby does still have squad problems, it´s now also confirmed that wingback Stoor will leave for Rosenborg, in a deal were Hammarby prolong their contract with midfielder Eguren. Hammarby´s starting 11 looks pretty weak, and without knowing anything about Bröndbys start 11 I think that over 2 for Bröndby looks good.

Brøndby-Hammarby

Well, I know I haven`t been anything like positive towards Hammarby in the recent matches, but they have lost matches that others and I have predicted. Today They will loose again...

This are two teams going in oppsite directions. Brøndby, starting to get players and stability back after an awful season so far. Hammarby loosing some of their key players and striving to get good work done.

Hammarbys squad tonight:
24. Benny Lekström
2. David Johansson
3. Pétur Marteinsson
4. Fredrik Stoor
5. Eric Fischbein
8. Klebèr Saarenpää
13. Max von Schlebrügge
16. Gunnar Thor Gunnarsson
17. Erkan Zengin
18. Haris Laitinen
19. Paulinho
21. Jeffrey Aubynn
22. Sebastian Eguren
25. Sebastian Castro-Tello
26. Isak Dahlin
28. José Monteiro
29. Toni Nhleko
30. George Moussan

First goalie, Ante Covic has now left the club, which means Benny Lekstrøm is back between the posts. Last time he played, they lost 3-2 at home against Brøndby and his performance was not good at all. Petter Furuseth-Olsen, already assigned to Stabaek, but still under contract is out. Pablo Pinones-Arce is not on squad, still injured, he has been important getting goals for the away team this season. Full-back Fredrik Stoor is probably leaving for Rosenborg sometime in the near future. It is also worth mentioning that Toni Nhleko is doubtful. He is tired and has a lack of motivation. I wonder heavily who coach Gustavsson would be placing on top with Paulinho. The offensive part of the team are stripped from regular players, Aubynn as the only alternative, he being an offensive midfielder only. When assistant coach Åhlund was asked about the game I felt he was very vague, but wanted that the players would do their best in the "must win" situation they are in. Playing their 4th match in 12 days after a long and hard season have to have an affect on the players. We saw it away against Lillestrøm, they didn`t stand a chance loosing 2-0 getting their first oppourtunity late in the 2nd half. The team have to win this and I expect a team going for goals, but I can`t see anyone making them...

Now they play a slightly rejuvenated Brøndby away. They have got a week off, to work out and prepare well for this game. The team are in their break in the danish division and as mentioned Brøndby were bad, very bad according to their season predictions. The team has been hit by a large amount of injuries with key players out long-termly. Now many of them are ready to get into action.

Brøndbys squad tonight:
1. Casper Ankergren
16. Morten Cramer
4. Per Nielsen
5. Mark Howard
6. Marcus Lantz
9. Martin Retov
10. Martin Ericsson
11. Mads Jørgensen
12. Giovanni Rector
14. Joseph Elanga
18. Henrik Kildentoft
20. Asbjørn Sennels
22. Morten Rasmussen
23. Martin Spelmann
25. Hannes Sigurdsson
26. Mike Jensen
31. David Williams

Since last match, Morten Rasmussen, Mark Howard and Hannes Sigurdsson are back in the squad. Rasmussen, played his first 7 minutes last match in a long time. Tonight the important centre-back will get a lot more I believe. Mark Howard is also back, doing most of the hard work in the defence when missing a lot of players. That Hannes Sigurdsson is back is of major importance for Brøndby. He is a striker who really can make an impact in matches, and will definitely put more power up front. Brøndby will not let goals behind as easy as last time. Now their defence should be more stable then in many weeks. Also up front they have more abilities with Sigurdsson back in the game. It i quite interesting to know that all 3 goals Brøndby scored against Hammarby a week ago were came from midfielders. It would be different tonight. Coach Meuleensteen said that the are ready for this match, highly motivated and still not in danger of under-estimating Hammarby...

As a conclusion I believe several bets can be placed in this match. Looking at form, playing material and motivation there is no doubt in my mind, home win.

My bets:
Brøndby, straight win 1.96 @ betfair
Brøndby -0.5/-1 2.25 @ betfair
Brøndby HT/FT 3.30 @ betfair
Brøndby, first goal 1.71 @ betfair

I like the look of FCK at that price. Their defence is still decent (Wendt, Hangeland, Thomassen, Kvist or someone else,) better than most scandinavian teams. I'd still say FCK are slight favorites

Have to agree a little bit with you there. Lillestrøm will miss Robert Koren who has played his last game ever for the home team. He has been the definite creative force on Lillestrøm with lots of goals and assists.

Ståle Solbakken, the coach for FCK is from Norway. He knows Lillestrøm very well, in a tactical perspective and players. He has made FCK the best team in scandinavia and that is a good effort.

This is a no bet from me in who to win, but I see two bets which I will choose for this one. 8 of 12 matches in royal league has ended with 3 goals or more and most teams are offensive minded, even if they play away. In 9 of 12 matches which have been played both teams have scored. Looking at the stats and the fact that teams are acting offensively I take these two for tonight in this match

My bets:
Over 2.5, 2.00 @ betsson
Both teams to score, 1.72 @ betuk

I don't get it. Why should FCK have only CL in their heads? They cannot qualify for the next stage of CL and they cannot qualify even for UEFA Cup. Well, they would love to get another home win in CL and they will even earn some money from it. They would also take pride in beating a well-known team such as Celtic. But that's about it. I feel they are likely to keep an eye on the Royal League as well.

Ståle Solbakken has mentioned that he is aware of the importance of royal league, using it as an example for good preparations for up comig matches. Backing up my thoughts are that FCK won this tourney last year, with Solbakken as their head coach...

Good write ups, again, kimera . I´m with you on FCK over, will look for good odds for Bröndby, hoping that our "bet against" Hammarby tactic will pay off again. Great getting the insight about Lilleström, I´ll have to reconsider that one I think, and stay with only over.

GL all !

Not enough time to make a proper tip, but the value is on FC.
SportFootball (Euro Cups)
EventLillestrøm - FCK
SelectionFCK
Strength10/10
Date30/11/2006
Bookmaker/PriceCentrebet @ 3.20 (Back)
ReasoningGrønkjær will be back for this match which will definately strenghten the squad for FCK.
Value on the FCK-victory tonight in my eyes, as they are by far the strongest squad in Scandinavia and I really do not get that the bookies favorise Lillestrøm, who only became number 4 in Norway this season.

Nothing wrong in your thoughts, but I think it should be wise to mention that both striker Fredrik Berglund (18/7/18) and midfileder Martin Bergvold (13/2/18) will be out in the last minute because of sickness. With already Allback out there is a question who Solbakken will pair on top, both of their regular strikers out. Still I believe that there will be some goals in this game. In matches before the teams top strikers have been left out and still the team got goals. Close to kick-off, bets already set, we only have to wait and see...
