I dont think it will be many goals in Vålerenga game. I guess both teams wants to avoid a defeat and will focus to avoid and goals against.
Vålerenga will miss captain M.Andresen, while AaFK will miss attacker T.H.Aarøy.
Under2,5 looke good if odds is more then 2.00

Thanks Meatman. Vålerenga was pushing for a goal and got a late winning goal. Aalesund didnt show much in this game, and realy missed attacker T.H.Aarøy and midfield J.Arneng.

For the games tomorrow i think Bodø/Glimt should have a good chance for a nice start. Ham Kam has a lot of injurys and are missing Håkan Malmström, Steve Cooreman, Joachim Sørum, Tom Kristoffersen, Marius Gullerud, Pål Strand, Oluwasegun Abiodun and Sebino Plaku with injury. Not all are regulars, but 5-6 of those would have been very close to starting tomorrow. Also Marcus Pedersen and Jan Michaelsen are doubtful. Despite all injurys Ham Kam has some good players but i guess its nokt enough tomorrow and Bodø will win this game.

Stabæk should have a good chance to avoid a loss tomorrow. It seems that only H.Hauger is out with injury and S.Tchoyi is back from injury. Stabæk was a excellent offencive force in Alanzinho, Tchoyi, Nannskog and Gunnarsson and i dont think Molde can stop them tomorrow.

So for me Bodø and Stabæk should win tomorrow. Low stakes since its the opening round.

Im not gonna bet on the Brann - Fredrikstad and Lillestrøm-Tromsø game.

Viking - Strømsgodset

We are ready for the 1.round in Tippeligaen and last seasons number 3, Viking, will welcome Strømsgodset to Viking Stadion. The stadium is sold out and everybody in Stavanger is optimistic before the first game.
Viking is one of the favorites to win the league this season and after getting new good players in Joakim Austnes, Martin Fillo, Kristian Nicht and Andrius Velicka, they look stronger then last year. It will be even in the top, but Viking has the potentical to go all the way.
Last season Viking did a great job at home, were they stayed unbeaten, with 9-4-0 in total. I guess it wont be much easier to visit Viking stadion this season either.
There are a few missings in Vikings squad before this game. Thomas Myhre(GK), Thomas Pereira(D) and Andre Danielsen(M) are all injured. K.Nicht will take Myhres place in the goal, and he shouldnt have any problems with replacing him. Trond Erik Bertelsen is likely to take the left back instead of T.Pereira. Bertelsen, who missed almost the hole season in 2007 with injury, did a good job when he got the chance against Rosenborg in the last friendly game. A.Danielsen wont be missed, and espacially not after the new players have arrived.
In their last friendly against Rosenborg, they field a good team, but got only 0-0. Neither of the teams deserved the win in that game.
So Viking will field a very strong starting line up, in a 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3 formation.

Strømsgodset ended on a 10.th place last year and did a good job avoiding relegation after they was promoted from Adeccoligaen in 2006.
They did pretty well on their travels last season and only 4 clubs took more points then Strømsgodset away.
Before this season there has been some changes in Strømsgodset. They have got a new coach in Ronny Deila. He played last season as a central defender and will be missed. I'm also very unsure how he will do it as a coach, as he dont have any experience at all, coaching a team. So to replace him, they got Inge Andre Olsen on loan from Start and Joel Riddez from Örebro. Olsen will take place in the central defence togeher with Glenn Andersen, while Riddez will play on the left back. But Riddez is unsure to this game, after he got a injury against Ham Kam in the last friendly game. If he cant play, Samir Fazlagic will take his place. The defence was very weak last season and has to be better this year. They dont have many bakcup players in that part and dont need more injurys now.
Another problem for Strømsgodset is to find who should score their goals. After they sold big Peter Kovacs to Odd, they have only Thomas Sørum and Thomas Finstad left that can play central attacker. Therefor they got the danish guy D.Nielsen on loan from OB. He can start here tomorrow. In the friendlys Sørum has got more chances.
A positive thing for Strømsgodset is that very important Mattias Andersson(left wing) are back from injury. He started last season great, but a injury in the 6.round, kept him out for the rest of the season. He has played very well in the friendlies before this season and looks that he is back in good form, with 3 goals on the last 5 friendlies. If Vikings Maurice Ross can stop him, Strømsgodset will get big problems with scoring, since Andersson is a important part of Strømsgodsets offence play.
Strømsgodset won their last friendly against Ham Kam with 3-1, a results thats lies a little, since Ham Kam was better and deserveded some more goals. Strømsgodset was also very efficient in that game.

So there are some problems for Strømsgodset before this game. It wont be easy at Viking Stadion, and i see Viking as favorites here and they should win.

Good luck!

Yeh I saw highlights of the Valerenga match, 1-0 looked to be a very fair scorline to me

hhhmmmm was more like a French game really, tight, tactical seemed boring and obviously low scoring.

It seems that Viking are a very popular bet today so I've taken them on the -1AH with relatively high stakes. I also nabbed Bodo -0.25 with smaller stakes.

My other bet will be Brann -1. Surely the champions can get off to a winning start against a Fredrikstad side which has been pretty appaling away from home since they returned to the top flight a few years ago.

I remember this game fcuked me up last year when it ended 2-2, but hopefully Brann can do the business this time around.

It's lways dangerous betting early in a seaosn but also there can be some really good value. You look back in a few weeks later and think ' god I can't beleive bookies offered that line on them etc' There is sure to be some result in this round which will make an absolute mockery of the odds..............

Playing two:

Soccer - Bodo Glimt/Ham Kam - total Over 3 (+106)
for the regulation time held on Mar 30 at 11:00am [pending]

Two highest-scoring teams in 1st Divisjon play in the top league, but I wouldn't expect anything to change here.

Soccer - Viking/Stromsgodset - total Over 3 (+117)
for the regulation time held on Mar 30 at 11:00am [pending]

Viking is the chic favorite to win the league this year, and here they play their opening game at home in front of a full house of expectant fans against one of the relegation candidates. I'd expect it to be very hard fought...it is also the BPO.

Ugh. Was 2-0 and 1-0 at 23 minutes, and my scoreboard showed a second goal for Viking, withdrawn a moment later...and that was it. What is this, Sweden???

Think you should wait a little before playing over games. Normally it takes 2-3 games before the goals are coming. But i know you will do it stronger later in the season

Good day for me in Norway with 2 winners and 1 push

sorry to hear about your overs ATT

When I saw Bodo 2-0 I thought you were made in that match

Get into France more mate, it's that time of the year where everyone relaxes and there are often a lot of goals

I normally wait, but I really liked these two matchups. Oh well, get 'em next week.

Last year, my book stopped offering lines with two weeks left in the season...what a bunch of fairies.

Just watched highlights of the Brann game

I think I'll class myself as lucky to have won fully on a -1 AH - defensively they didn't look very impressive.

Personally I can see a lot of goals being scored in Brann games this year, they again look strong in attack, but some real worries at the back

Oh and aye ATT - bookies can certainly be pussies sometimes lol

not clued up on the rosenborg squad n whether it has been strentghened since their poor run last season

Hi AC, pleased to see you again

RBK -1 for me @ 1.93

It seems that the general consensus is that Lyn will be nothing better than midtable this season and could even get sucked into the relegation fight.

RBK need to start with a win this season and I expect them to do a good job. Normally at the Lekendal stadium they can be relied upon and last season were 9-3-1 here. Lyn away from home were an appaling 1-2-10 (with 1 of those draws at their own stadium against Valerenga)

This should be a clear home win for me, and the AH line should probably be something like -1.5

yeah thanks meatman, i saw LYns away record last year and it was terrible but wasnt sure if they had made any new signings.
Rosengorg-1 AH @1.9 with betfair looks good, lik ethe security so will stake a little high, they should win at home to kick the season off
right then , im on the rosenborg rollercoaster for tonight!
