Default Norway, Tippeligaen 19-21.july

Molde – Vålerenga
Molde managed a draw against Bodø last weekend and is unbeaten on their last 3 games. Played very well in first half against Bodø and managed to get an equalizer when they were one man down. Moldes main problem this season has to be to score enough and get wins at home, so far they have only 1-3-3 at home. Their only win came in last home game against Ham Kam. It seems they get a little problem when it is expected of them to attack, and so far they have taken most points when they can lay back and go for fast counter attacks.
M.Hoseth(M 12games 3goals) and T.Holm(M 11games) is suspended.

Vålerenga had a hard away game against Strømsgodset last weekend and were lucky to just be down with one goal at half time. They got an early goal in second half and managed to turn the game around to a 3-1 win. Played much better in second half there, but continued to play unstable, as they have done the whole season. Vålerenga has 3-0-4 away and has 1-0-3 on the last 4 away games.
No injurys.

My bet: Vålerenga (-0,25AH).

Brann – Aalesund
Brann got a draw against Lyn last weekend, after Lyn started the game best. Brann got more into the game later on, and both teams had enough chances to win the game. Brann is now unbeaten on their last 4 league games and at home they have done well this season and has 4-1-1 so far. Brann hasn’t played to well lately, but in their last home game, they played their best game this season.
Captain E.Bakke(M 12games) is suspended. J.G.Solli(M 11games) is back from suspension. T.Helstad(A 12games 11goals) is likely to miss this game.

Aalesund lost to Tromsø last weekend and with all the injurys, they should need to get some new players in soon. The loss to Tromsø was well deserved and only 1 point on their last 4 games isn’t very good. Aalesund has the worse away statistic in Tippeligaen and they have lost all 7 away games this season and last away win was in July 2007. All the injurys play an important role and the play they have showed isn’t very good either. The defence makes some easy mistakes and it seems they are missing something on their midfield.
D.Silva(A 11games 4goals) is back from suspension. A.Brown(GK 6games), B.Kibebe(D 9games 1goal), A.Skiri(M 10games 1goal) and P.Noonan(A 5games) is all injured.

My bet: Over looks like the best choice.

Tromsø – Ham Kam
Tromsø played very well against Aalesund and took a well deserved win there with 3-1. That means that Tromsø has won their last 3 league games and are currently number 3, only 5 points behind the leader. Tromsø has played very well recently, but it took some time before the goals came in last home game against Strømsgodset. Were also a little lucky there, to not concede any goals as Strømsgodset had some very good opportunities. Tromsø has so far 3-1-2 at home and every time they have conceded a goal at home they have lost. 2 times have they lost 0-1.
H.Å.Yndestad(D 9games) and T.Høgli(D 11games) is back from suspension. K.Borch(GK) and K.Huusko(A 3games) is injured.

Ham Kam is last but took an important and a little lucky win against Rosenborg, when they managed to score the winning goal 4 minutes into extra time. That was their first win after 9 straight games without a win. Ham Kam has taken almost all points at home, and has only 0-1-6 and 2 goals scored on their travels. The only point came against Lillestrøm some weeks ago. Ham Kam had a lot of injurys before the break, but has almost all back now and has started to show some proof of better football.
M.Ringberg(M 12games 3goals) is suspended. S.Coorman(M) and T.Kristoffersen(M) is injured.

My bet: Tromsø -1AH

Lyn – Strømsgodset
Lyn started best against Brann and took an early lead last weekend. But Brann got back and in the end a draw was a fair result. The young Lyn team is in good form and has 3-2-0 on their last 5 league games. They have played very well and showed some proof on good football. They are hard to beat at Ullevål and have 3-3-1 so far. Only Stabæk has left with 3 points from there. With players with great pace and good movements, Lyn is a difficult team to play against. Have had a little problem when they meet teams that lay behind and go for counter attacks.
E.Hoff(A 13games 7goals) is suspended. J.Tamandi(D) is injured.

Strømsgodset started very well against Vålerenga last weekend and took a well deserved lead. They might should have scored some more goals, but got only a single goal. In second half it got more difficult and Vålerenga managed to score three times. Strømsgodset haven’t been too good away and has only 0-3-3 so far. Will try to lay low here and go for counter attacks. They were very dangerous when they played like that against Tromsø in last away game and should have got at least one point there.
I.A.Olsen(D 11games) is suspended. K.Amewou(M 7games) is back from suspension. A.Aas(D 11games 1goal) is doubtful.

My bet: Open game, i wont bet here.

Lillestrøm – Bodø/Glimt
What can I say about Lillestrøm? Again they lost and did some big mistakes in the defence against Fredrikstad. They didn’t play too bad against Fredrikstad, but don’t create many chances and then it’s hard to win football games. Hopefully they will do much better here, because their fans did a great job in the big loss against Fredrikstad and cheered on the team the whole game thru and deserves better. Lillestrøm has lost their last 3 league games and has so far 2-3-2 at home. Not to bad that, but they need to do much better to get away from the relegation battle.
O.Fredriksson(GK 10games) and M.Kiesenebner (M) is injured.

Bodø has been the big surprise this season, but it might look like they have stopped a little, since they are without a win on their last 4 games. They haven’t play to well in the last games and against Molde they were one man more, but managed to concede an equalizer and only got 2-2. Their last away game, they should try to forget as soon as possible, as they were lucky to just loose by 1-4 against Brann. Bodø hasn’t done to well away and has only 1-1-4 so far. The win came against Strømsgodset a few months ago.
C.Berg(M 13games) is suspended. J.Lædre Bjørndal(D), D.Blomgren(D) and E.Iversen(D) is injured. T.Martins(A 10games 5goals) is doubtful.

My bet: I dont trust Lillestrøm and Bodø has been a little weaker lately, so no bet for me.

Stabæk – Fredrikstad
This rounds big game as the two best teams on the table meets, and its pretty different form on both. Stabæk had the lead, but after just 1 point on the last 3 games, they are currently second and one point behind Fredrikstad. Stabæk hasn’t played well recently and it was a pretty poor game against Viking last weekend. After S.Tchoyi was sold to Salzburg, it seems that Stabæk is missing something in their midfield. They have both a player from Iceland now, but he won’t play here. Stabæk has so far 4-1-1 at home, but hasn’t won on their last two home games.
A.Annan(M 9games) is back from suspension. J.Tømmernes(A 4games) and P.Segerstrøm(D 11games) is injured.

Fredrikstad is currently leading and has told that they aim for a top 3 spot. They have played very well and showed some good football so far. Was better then Lillestrøm in last round, but didn’t create too many chances there, but unlike Lillestrøm, they managed to score on theirs. Fredrikstad hasn’t lost on their last 4 league games and last time they lost in the league was to Stabæk in the begging of June. Fredrikstad has 2-2-2 on their travels and is unbeaten on their last two away games.
F.Wallace(D 12games 1goal) is back from suspension. L.Staw(GK 11games) and P.Gerrbrand(D 11games) is injured.

My bet: Open game, and at the moment im considering over, but havent decided yet.
