Country: Norway
Match: Lyn Oslo v Brann
Date: 16/6/07
Time: 19:00 cet
Reccomended Bet: Lyn Oslo (0) AH @ 2.0 Betchronnicle 3/10

I dont think Brann should be favourites here. Lets face it, they haven't been convincing recently, especially in defence. I watched all of their last game against LSK and they were really lucky to hang onto 0-0 at halftime. LSK should have scored goals but in the end paid the price. Brann also in other games have got some points that they didnt really deserve to get, the 3-2 in Sandefjord being an example. This will be a tough task today here in Lyn who have performed well at home this year. They somehow blew a 2-0 lead against Stabek last week but will want to hit back strongly. In my book thay are favs here, not Brann so they are an excellent bet on the (0) AH @ 2.0. I don't think Lyn will los this one and if they are clever, they can exploit Brann's weaknesses and win

Lyn – Brann

Number 10 vs. 1. Lyn has 11 points, Brann has 20.
Lyn has been involved in games with many goals lately. Are good home with 3-1-0. Aalesund is the only team so far that has taken points away against Lyn. Scored on their only two chances against Stabæk and tok the lead 2-0. Against Tromsø both teams had many chances in a even game. Against Viking Lyn started well but ended up in a 2-4 loss, well deserved.
L.K.Eriksen(D 5games) and T.Sokolowski(M 6games 1goal) are injuryed. Coach H.Berg is back from suspension.
Lyns last 6 games:
13.6 KvikHalden (A) 5-0 Cup
10.6 Stabæk (A) 2-3
28.5 Tromsø (H) 4-3
20.5 Fet (A) 10-1 Cup
16.5 Viking (A) 2-4
13.5 Aalesund (H) 0-0

Brann in good form, but havent played to well lately. Played well in 2.half against Lillestrøm and won that half 3-1. Lillestrøm was best in 1.half. Against Odd it was a pretty poor game, but they won with some small prof on how they can play. Is the best away team with 3-0-1 so far. Rested some players in the cup game.
E.Bakke(M 0games) is back in the sqaud after injury. C.Guntveit(D 3games), T.F.Ludvigsen(A 1game) and H.Haugen(M 2games) is injuryed.
Brann last 6 games:
13.6 Øygard (A) 5-0 Cup
10.6 Lillestrøm (H) 3-1
28.5 Odd (A) 2-0
20.5 Trio (A) 5-0 Cup
16.5 Fredrikstad (H) 2-2
12.5 Sandefjord (A) 3-2

H2H on Ullevaal Stadion 7-4-9 35-38
H2H total 12-7-22 68-84

Last meetings on Ullevål:
2006-10-15 Lyn - Brann 2 - 0
2005-09-25 Lyn - Brann 1 - 0
2004-05-31 Lyn - Brann 1 - 2
2003-04-14 Lyn - Brann 0 - 0
2002-10-06 Lyn - Brann 2 - 3
2001-08-26 Lyn - Brann 3 - 2
1997-10-05 Lyn - Brann 1 - 5
1993-07-18 Lyn - Brann 5 - 1
1992-09-13 Lyn - Brann 1 - 1

Open game, but Brann are small favorites. Could get some goals here, so over is a good bet.

Sport Football (Norway)
Event Lyn Olso - Brann
Selection Over 3.5
Strength 10/10
Date 16/06/2007
Bookmaker/Price Sportingodds @ 2.62 (Back)
Reasoning Both teams have only 2 unders in their last 9. 6 from these are over 3.5 and both teams have very good attackers. They score a lot and concede too. Lyn's last 3 matches are 4:3, 2:3, 2:4. Brann are almost the same and they will play for the win to stay top of the table. I expect a very open match and plenty of goals.

Ovet 4 goals already! Anyone know why Lillestrom are at 2.02 against Valarenga? Lillestrom 3-1-0 at home compared to 0-0-4 for Valarenga away. Is there some team news I don't know about as these odds look amazing value.

You're incredible meatmen. Don't let all these delights screw you. Ponder well as always. Thanks meatmean. I am a subscriber to propunters.com and looked at your emails and took rubin kazan and lyn at 2.1 and 2.6 respectively. thanks.

because Valerenga are a better team than their statistics suggest really. They should have won more game and not lost as many as they have done. However, I would probably still favour LSK here who are a very good side despite some recent poor scores

Lyn lead 5-0 lol, sensational scoreline

Brann down to 10 men before half time thanks to their keeper getting sent off, was already 3-0 when that happened though.

easy win for me here lol, nice call on the over 3.5 Mileni

cheers mate

yeh I was pretty pleased with my form today, except for some poor selections in Scandinavian lower leagues. My target is +50 pts in all leagues before the new French season starts, I'm confident of a successful next couple of months. So far my form in Tippeligaen has been poor but I know I can improve here as long as I cut out some of the poorer bets that I know I shouldn't go for

Fredrikstad – Start

Number 8 vs. 6. Fredrikstad has 12 points, Start has 13.
Fredrikstad took a lucky point away against Rosenborg in last game. Can thank their good goalkeeper R.Shaaban. Was also lucky with the win in the game before that against Vålerenga. So 4 points on their two last games, who they should have lost both. Strong home, 3-0-1, only a loss to Stabæk where they took a extra holiday in 2.half.
T.Bertelsen(D 0games) V.Martinsen(D 6games) and C.Berg(M 0games) are injuryed.
Fredrikstads last 6 games:
13.6 Sarpsborg (A) 4-0 Cup
10.6 Rosenborg (A) 1-1
26.5 Vålerenga (H) 1-0
19.5 Lisleby (A) 5-0 Cup
16.5 Brann (A) 2-2
13.5 Stabæk (H) 1-2

Start took a well deserved win against Sandefjord in last game. Have played well lately, but hasn’t taken to many points. Had many injurys so far, and have used many young players. Has 1-2-1 away, and took points against Brann and Tromsø away.
F.Strømstad(M, 6games) and A.Valencia(A 6games 1goal) are doubtful. J.Mathisen(A 0games) is injuryed. L.M.Engedal played his first game this season in last game and D.Nielsen(A 4games 1goal) was back from injury. A.R.Håland(D 9games) is injuryed.
Starts last 6 games:
14.6 Vard (A) 5-0 Cup
11.6 Sandefjord (H) 3-1
25.5 Strømsgodset (H) 2-3
20.5 Vindbjart (A) 6-2 Cup
16.5 Rosenborg (A) 1-4
10.5 Vålerenga (H) 1-0

H2H on Fredrikstad Stadion 4-4-4 21-16
H2H total 7-6-10 32-32

Last meetings on Fredrikstad Stadion:
2006-09-20 Fredrikstad - Start 2 - 2 (NM Cup)
2006-08-27 Fredrikstad - Start 4 - 0
2005-07-03 Fredrikstad - Start 1 - 2
2003-09-14 Fredrikstad - Start 2 - 1
1984-10-14 Fredrikstad - Start 1 - 2
1982-08-15 Fredrikstad - Start 0 - 0
1981-08-10 Fredrikstad - Start 2 - 2
1980-09-28 Fredrikstad - Start 1 – 3

Think theres a good chance for goals here, over 2.75 for me.

Sandefjord – Strømsgodset

Number 12. vs. 9. Sandefjord has 8 points, Strømsgodset has 12.
Sandefjord not in good form. Has 5 games without a win, and the last 4 are lost. Has 2-0-2 at home, lost to Brann and Rosenborg. Normally good at home and takes most of their points there. Was close to take points against Brann and Rosenborg and has played well in all homegames so far.
H.Aksnes(GK 0games), Ødegård(M 0games), M.Jensen(D 7games) and G.Crona(D 0games) are injuryed. M.Andersson(M 3games) and E.Mjelde(M 0games) are all doubtful.
Sandefjords last 6 games:
14.6 Tønsberg (A) 0-2 Cup
11.6 Start (A) 1-3
27.5 Rosenborg (H) 1-2
20.5 Sandar (A) 5-0 Cup
16.5 Vålerenga (A) 0-2
12.5 Brann (H) 2-3

Strømsgodset has been a little lucky and has taken 6 points on their last 4 games. Lost against Viking in last game, was pretty even but they played really bad. Against Start and Rosenborg away they was very lucky and won both. Has 2-1-1 away and only lost to Brann so far away.
R.Deila(D 8games 2goal) and E.Johnsen(GK 5games) was back from injury in last game, but Deila went out after just 20 minutes and is doubtful here. T.Finstad(A 3games), D.Driscoll(D 0games), M.Andersson(A 6games 1 goal) and Ø.Leonhardsen(M 1game) are injuryed. G.Andersen(D 8games) and P.Kovacs(A 9games 4goals) is suspended.
Strømsgodsets last 6 games:
13.6 Stryn (A) 9-2 Cup
9.6 Viking (H) 1-2
25.5 Start (A) 3-2
20.5 Åskollen (A) 6-2 Cup
16.5 Aalesund (H) 0-4
13.5 Rosenborg (A) 2-1

H2H on Storstadion 4-0-2 14-10
H2H total 5-1-5 22-21

Last meetings on Storstadion:
2005-07-17 Sandefjord - Strømsgodset 2 - 1
2004-10-17 Sandefjord - Strømsgodset 5 - 1
2003-06-18 Sandefjord - Strømsgodset 4 - 2
2002-10-20 Sandefjord - Strømsgodset 0 - 2
2000-09-17 Sandefjord - Strømsgodset 0 - 4

Sandefjord has played well, but havent got many points lately. Think they should win tonight.

Viking – Tromsø

Number 4. vs. 7. Viking has 15 points, Tromsø has 13.
Viking are in good form. Won 4 of 5 last games. Are unbeaten home with 2-2-0. Played very well lately and topscorer Ijeh continues to score after he came back from suspension. A month since they last played at home.
H.Eiriksson(D 0games) is injuryed. A.Gaarde(M 3games) is soon back in good form too after his injury. H.Sigurdsson(A 9games 1goal) is suspended.
Vikings last 6 games:
13.6 Randaberg (A) 6-0 Cup
9.6 Strømsgodset (A) 2-1
28.5 Aalesund (A) 2-0
20.5 Egersund (A) 6-0 Cup
16.5 Lyn (H) 4-2
13.5 Lillestrøm (A) 1-4

Tromsø was fighting on the top, but after 2 straight losses they are falling on the tabel. Played terribel in last game and are normally not very good away. Has 1-0-3 away so far. Have big problems when they meet Viking, 1-0-7 on their last 8 away games.
K.Borch(GK 0games), H.Nordnes(D 0games) and M.Pedersen(D 0games) are long time injuryed. S.Ademolu(A 6games) and T.Hafstad(D 8games) are injuryed. P.Bernier(M 8games 2goals) is with the national team. L.I.Strand(M 9games 2goals) is suspended.
Tromsøs last 6 games:
13.6 StjørdalsBlink (A) 6-0 Cup
10.6 Aalesund (H) 0-2
28.5 Lyn (A) 3-4
20.5 Senja (A) 3-0 Cup
16.5 Lillestrøm (H) 2-1
13.5 Odd (A) 1-0

H2H on Viking Stadion 13-4-3 36-18
H2H total 17-9-13 55-45

Last meetings on Viking Stadion:
2006-10-01 Viking - Tromsø 1 - 0
2005-06-27 Viking - Tromsø 3 - 2
2004-07-04 Viking - Tromsø 1 - 2
2003-08-03 Viking - Tromsø 4 - 0
2001-08-01 Viking - Tromsø 1 - 0 (NM Cupen)
2001-04-29 Viking - Tromsø 4 - 0
2000-08-27 Viking - Tromsø 2 - 1
1999-08-01 Viking - Tromsø 2 - 1
1998-04-26 Viking - Tromsø 1 - 2

Viking are favorites and should win. HW.

Aalesund – Stabæk

Number 13. vs. 3. Aalesund has 8 points, Stabæk has 16.
Aalesund has played a little better lately. Has taken 7 points on their last 4 games. All points are taken away in those games. Has only 0-1-3 home and needs to do better. Its positive that they have only conceeded 2 goals on their last 6 games.
P.Werni(D 0games), M.Kihlberg(M 8games 3goals), J.Alexandersson(D 3games), P.O.Larsen(M 0games) and Dede(A 0games) is injuryed. G.Bahoken(D 5games) is doubtful.
Aalesund last 6 games:
13.6 Volda (A) 0-0 Cup
10.6 Tromsø (A) 2-0
28.5 Viking (H) 0-2
20.5 Sykkylven (A) 7-0 Cup
16.5 Strømsgodset (A) 4-0
13.5 Lyn (A) 0-0

Stabæk is still unbeaten since the 1.round. Has 4-4-0 after that. Away they have 1-3-0. Played well against Lyn in last game, and turn 0-2 to 3-2 win. Was also close to beat Lillestrøm in last away game. Many good offence players that always are dangerous.
M.Kjølø(D 4games) and B.Poljac(M 0games) are injuryed. T.Stenvoll(D 7games) is back from suspension. P.Furuseth Olsen(M 4games) will be sold soon.
Stabæks last 6 games:
13.6 Fjøra (A) 4-0 Cup
10.6 Lyn (H) 3-2
28.5 Lillestrøm (A) 1-1
20.5 Åssiden (A) 9-1 Cup
16.5 Odd (H) 1-0
13.5 Fredrikstad (A) 2-1

H2H on Color Line Stadion 0-1-0 1-1
H2H total 1-1-1 6-6

Alll meetings:
2003-10-26 Stabæk - Aalesund 3 - 1
2003-08-07 Stabæk - Aalesund 2 - 4 (NM Cupen)
2003-06-29 Aalesund - Stabæk 1 - 1

Open game, can og both ways but Stabæk has a better team. No bet for me.

Lillestrøm – Vålerenga

Number 2. vs. 11. Lillestrøm has 17 points, Vålerenga has 9, before this big derby game.
Lillestrømhas only 1 point on their last 3 games. Was close to take points against Tromsø, and played well in 1.half against Brann. Is strong home with 3-1-0, but have meet many poor teams. Has good H2H against Vålerenga
B.Arnasson(M 0games) is injuryed. F.Kippe(D 7games) and O.Occean(A 9games 5goals) is suspended. K.Wehrmann(M 8games 1goal) is back from suspension.
Lillestrøm last 6 games:
13.6 Orkla (A) 5-0 Cup
10.6 Brann (A) 1-3
28.5 Stabæk (H) 1-1
20.5 Flisa (A) 6-3 Cup
16.5 Tromsø (A) 1-2
13.5 Viking (H) 4-1

Vålerenga continues to play unstabel. Missed a penalty against Odd and played with 1 men more, but got only 1-1. Has lost all games away, 0-0-4 and only scored 1 goal. 3 of those losses has been with 0-1 so close games. Should have taken points against Fredrikstad away but missed 5 times alone with the goalkeeper. Got some problems in the cup against 3.divisonclub Mjøndalen, was down 0-2 but won 3-2.
T.Holm(M 2games) is doubtful. R.Johnsen(D 5games) is out with a head injury.
Vålerenga last 6 games:
13.6 Mjøndalen (A) 3-2 Cup
10.6 Odd (H) 1-1
26.5 Fredrikstad (A) 0-1
20.5 Toten (A) 3-0 Cup
16.5 Sandefjord (H) 2-0
10.5 Start (A) 0-1

H2H on Åråsen Stadion 18-7-9 49-35
H2H total 25-22-17 84-73

Last meetings on Åråsen:
2006-09-18 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 2 - 1
2005-09-21 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 2 - 0 (NM Cup)
2005-05-22 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 2 - 1
2004-05-16 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 0 - 1
2003-09-01 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 0 - 0
2003-08-06 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 1 - 1 (NM Cup)
2002-05-16 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 1 - 1
2000-08-27 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 2 - 1
1999-06-16 Lillestrøm - Vålerenga 4 - 1

Lillestrøm are favorites, but this derby is always dangerous to bet on. To much feelings involved. No bet.

Fredrikstad - Start

I'm going for the straight home win here @ 2.55 which is much better value when you consider the -0.25 and level ball lines. It's a dangerous bet because the hosts just havent been playing well recently, yet continue to pick up results. Theye were awful against Valerenga a couple of weeks ago but still managed to win 1-0. Against RBK they picked up a lucky 1-1 draw although played ok at times. It still must be remembered though that Fredrikstad are often a decent home force and I expect them to perform better today. Start can blow hot and cold and are hard to predict. They are on more of a high now but I'm not so sure that they will get anything here. A draw is a definite danger but these straight win odds are too juicy to ignore @ 2.55 so worth 2/10 stakes for me.

Viking - Tromso

I would have prefered bigger odds on Viking but I'm still taking them @ 2.03 to win this fixture. I have gone against them twice in recent wekes but they proved me wrong by defeating Aalesund and Stromsgodset. One was perhaps a lucky success but last weekend they deserved to win 2-1. One thing they have shown is excllent play in the last 20 mins of games and this is a team that never knows when to give up. Peter Ijeh will of course be a threat and the Viking attack force looks to be strong. They should beat Tromso really who are traditionally never good away from home. They have already suffered some road defeats this year and the only success so far has come against struggling Odd. I expect an exciting game with a few goals in it and Viking should be able to get the points. Straight home win is worth 3/10 stakes IMO, arguably I should even go more.

Sandefjord - Stromsgodset

This took some decision making for me but in the end I go for the hosts at 2.25 on the nose. Sandefjord might've lost 4 consecutive games but I still believe them to have been a bit unlucky in many of the games. They were poor against Start last Monday and confidence will be low, but they have the ability to hit back against Stromsgodset. The visitors haven't impressed me much recently and have been very fortunate to collect a few lucky wins against RBK and Start. If they continue to play as they have been then I tihnk they will struggle here in Sandefjord. The hosts are often strong in front of their own fans all they need to do is make sure they hit the back of the net. The -0.25 AH odds are poor around the 1.80 mark, but this 2.25 on the staright win offers some value so I will stake 2/10 on it.

LSK - Valerenga

Big derby match here and I favour LSK in it. The fact is that despite going on a bit of a poor run of late, LSK have actually been playing pretty well. All they have lacked is putting the ball into the back of the net a bit more, something they were guilty of in the 1st half against Brann. Valerenga are another team that has been playing quite well but their statistics just ain't good enough. They continue to need loads of chances to score goals and they wont be given too many opportunities today. They will have to be clinical in attack, something that they cant be trusted to be. LSK miss Occean here and thats a blow, but I still think they have enough to sneak a win. Home advantage will surely make a big difference in this sort of match and the fans can roar their team to victory. Odds of 2.06 on the -0.5 AH line are good enough for me, although I dare only stake 2/10 as this is still a derby match.

Aalesund - Stabaek

My only no bet of this round in Norway, although I do think Stabaek could win. If better odds were offered on the visitors then I would consider betting on them but 2.25 just isnt high enough IMO. Aalesund continue to be underestimated a bit and have the ability to cause Stabaek some problems. Their home form hasnt been good enough though and they cant be rleied upon at this stadium. Stabaek have more quality and are the most likely team to win, but this could go either way, my prediction is 1-1

ReasoningFredrikstad have 6 overs in the last 9 and 4 are over 3.5. Start did 3 consecutive over 3.5's in their last 3 and have 4 in the last 5 overall. 5 from the last 6 between these two teams finished overs. I expect an open game and plenty of goals.

Soccer - Sandefjord/Stromsgodset - total Over 3 (+109)
for the regulation time held on Jun 17 at 11:00am [pending]

I think this is the safer bet considering Stromgodset's tendency to play forward even when overmatched, and I like the better than evens. BOL today.

A no brainer really and obvious pick. Odd are in a real mess playing badly and not getting many good results. RBK still too inconsitent but this is a game they should win really. I'm not massively confident but the visitors @ 1.80 are worth 3/10 stakes I think

Rosenborg will win over Odd Greenland !

The last match of this weekend in the Norske tippeleague is number last against number 8. Odds Greenland against Rosenborg.
If we take a look at the statistics, then Odd has a terrible statistics saying 1-1-7 after the first 9 matches. Rosenborg has a 4-2-3 statistic.

And if we look at the last match at home, then Odd lost at home with 0-2 to Brann, and Rosenborg won 1-2 at Sandefjord.
And we think that Rosenborg will win this game, and they are very upset upset to win this game. They start in a 4-3-3 formation tonight, with Roar Strand as a right Back, and Per Skjelbred as left midfielder.

Thats means that the back will play offensive, and in that case Roar Strand is great. That match will be played at artificial grass, which is an advantage for the player Per Skjeldbred. He plays very often and good on this kind of field, and here comes his technical skills in front.

The statistics arent lying either. Since 1998, when Odd Greenland came in the League, they lost at home 7 times against Rosenborg, in the league.
Our guess is an 1-3 victory or 0-2 victory for Rosenborg.
