Sandefjord - Odd

The home team has really picked up speed lately being in great shape and want to challenge Start and Odd for the two top spots in the division. The newspapers says that they are highly motivated today, and all regulars are ready to get out on the pitch. 7-1-1 at home so far shows where they nick their main bunch of points and when going 8-1-1 the last 9 games it also points out their exellent form. They are not a team known by big wins, still the last three has been won comfortably. Odd on the other hand has been awesome throughout the season. 14-4-1 in total says the most. Even so their last match-ups have not been the greatest. Last match they struggled hard to get the win against a mediocre Sandes/Ulf (3-2) and in the game before they had to settle with a draw against Haugesund (1-1). Both matches being played at home. Coach Fagermo has stated that the team is in a tight schedule and will rest some players today, it is not official who, but the subs should be of an ok+ quality. H2H favours Odd highly though, 6-0-0, but this one is played in a whole different setting imo. Based on form, shape, motivation and last value I have to try Sandefjord today, even if Odd has the strongest squad in the adecco.

I've read Valencia for Odd is injuried so a good replacement for Odd is out.
It will be interesting to see the official lineups,here i've found the probable first 11

I don't know if Odd is lacking of form, for sure is that the teams that play against them play the "life-game",and if they are not totally focused on the match,can have troubles.
Maybe semifinal cup is allready in their minds so a loss could come today...

Valencia is out yes, but he had still to make an impact on the team. But as a good replacement player, he will be missed today yes. The fact is that Odd face their toughest opposition since playing in the cup or when facing the other promotion candiate Start. Also since being their 2nd match of three this week some tiredness might creep into the squad. It would be interesting to see how they cope with a surging Sandefjord which badly want to win this one. I am not sure that the semis are in their mind yet, still a month to go before its on, 25th of september to be precise...
