Tippeligaen:

Tromsø - Ålesund

The home team has been one the biggest surprises so far with solid play, especially defensively. Before the loss away against Fredrikstad last match (0-2) they went 6-1-0 and jumped on the table suddenly being in the fight for the title. Today several key missings are at their hands. From before key strikers Moldskred and Rushfeldt are out, and now key centre-back Koppinen has the flu and full-back Høgli is suspended. Both being important with nearly all games so far selected regulars in the team. Their performance against Fredrikstad was of the poor one, both teams were bad imo, but Tromsø the worst. The lack of firepower up-front and problems creating chances makes me question the coming form. I know the team is more than happy with being placed as their is, and some content might has creeped into the squad. Still, they should have some motivation knwoing that league leader, Stabæk fell with a draw yesterday. Ålesund n the other hand struggles heavily to avoid relegating. They are still quite safe, but they know that every point is important in the last part of the season if a secure place should be reached. Recently their major squad problems which batted them hard in the early part of the season, is pretty resolved now. Only 4 players are out, and Skiri the only player who would be rated as a regular amongst them. Full-back Holm and winger Mathisen have fully recovered from injury while key midfielder Arneng is back after suspension. Also the new signings Stephenson and Arnefjord have really mad an impact on the team by contributing morale and intensity of play. Form-wise there is only one win on the last 4, but the oppsition has been strong and by holding Molde to a draw away and nearly getting a point against Stabæk in the last one it shows for me they are headed in a positive direction and are fully capable of nicking a point or so when visiting Tromsø today. Value on Ålesund imo...

Tippeligaen:

Molde - Bodø/Glimt

Molde has found themself in a vacuum in the middle of the table with less to play for than many of the other teams. Still, some awareness should be taken in consideration since it is expected that teams below them will get some points in the coming weeks knowing that they have all to play for. The team has a severe downfall in form imo. They drawed against Ålesund at home, and lost versus Rosenborg in their last one (1-3), a game the numbers should have been higher knowing that they were outplayed heavily. Their midfield, which is rated as the strongest part of the team, did not perform and players like Hoseth and Berg Hestad made many stupid plays creating counters for Rosenborg. If they do the same today, they will definitely be punished hard. Glimt being a team which relies heavily on counters with fast wingers in Olsen and Sørensen will without a doubt take advantage of mistakes done. Squad-wise they have some doubts. The mentioned Berg Hestad is doubtul and the expected replacement for the suspended Papate Diouf, Mostrøm must be tested before todays match. Also coach Jonevret has doubts about the defensive part knowing the pace of Glimts Olsen. That being said the starters are not official yet. Glimt has been very poor when playing away, but in the cup-loss against Vålerenga (1-3) they were a major threat until two big defensive errors caused them the defeat. No new injury woes in the team, actually centre-back Lædre Bjørdal is ready after a long-term injury. He played a big part of the last years campaign when they got promoted. Value on Glimt today, even if they stats-wise is bad when playing away...

Tippeligaen:

Ham Kam - Fredrikstad

Well, I have believed in the home team many times and it has hurt some indeed. Being placed last they deperately need to collect some points if they would stand a chance of surviving this season. This one must be won, especially since they "threw away" wins in the former matches against Tromsø and Vålerenga (0-1 & 1-1). In both games they deserved better results and fought hard. Being in the same situation as Ålesund injury-wise in the early parts of the season they now could field a nearly injury-free squad, only 3 players are out, and none of them regulars. As Ålesund did, they signed two players, Vitaic and Leonardo. Both players which has made an impact in the team, contributing at once. Fredrikstad on the other hand is fighting for the title. A notion I for one is very surprised of. Still, stable play and good results have been their trademark so far. In the last one against Tromsø they won on a bad day, but the loss of key players will someday hit them. Elyounussis transfer to Herenveen and the injury of both other regular strikers (Tegstrøm & Johansson) will make them change things around. Youngster Trulsen will get his chance on top pairing up with original winger Barsom. One other major loss is the suspension of key midfielder/stabilizer Kasey Wehrmann. He has been rated as the teams best player overall this season and with him out they will have to struggle even more. Ham Kam has a golden opportunity to get some some much needed points today imo...

Adeccoleague:

Sandefjord - Løv Ham

Earlier in the week Sandefjord signed probably the best player from Løv Ham, Samir Saric. He will be a good addition to an already surging Sandfjord team. With only one loss in their last 13 match-ups they have really showed that they are a team to be counted on in the promotion race. After an abysmal beginning of the season they have picked up pace and are in the right spot atm, but they can`t relax at all knowing that other teams are surging behind them. Today, a full squad is ready to notch another three heavily important points. Isaksen is suspended, but he is not a big loss. Løv Ham on the other hand has been playing good this season, especially making their mark when playing away, still they have shown some unstability which has cost them greatly. And now when their topscorer is gone I can`t see them advancing much on the table in the late part of the season. Injury-wise, they have some defensvie problems, nothing big, but they would have to make some changes today. Home win for me, even if Sandefjord has tended to play pretty even matches I do believe that today will show otherwise...

Adeccoleague:

Sogndal - Kongsvinger

12-2-1 is the H2H stat on Sogndals home ground when these two teams meet up. Today I can`t see it changing. Sogndal has a very good squad, capable of fighting for the promotion, but unstability and lack of effectiveness have been their issue all season long. To change it around they have signed two very decent strikers, Espen Olsen and Tarjei Dale, both with much experience from the the top league. Also reports talk about key striker Håvard Flo is back in good shape after struggling with injuries all season long. The squad is nearly complete, only long-termers are out. Results lately have not been the best, making many draws and playing even matches. Today they will have a good opportunity getting three much-needed points if they would want to take on Sandefjord on the 3rd promotion spot. Kongsvinger has improved recently by getting some new faces to the team. Strikers Brenes and Kristofferson have made an impact already. The sad part however is that the defence is not working as it should. The losses in their last two match-ups confirmed it and with three regulars out for this one the struggle will be even harder. Sogndal will show the potential in the team today...

2nd division:

Fyllingen - Stavanger

The home team has not lost so far at home this season. A feat which is very impressive, but with heavy squad issues and players leaving they will struggle throughout the last part of the season. The loss against poor Ålgård in the last match (0-5) implies that notion heavily. Stavanger is fighting hard to keep Randaberg of their trail fighting for the promotion spot. They are even in points and need to win every match to keep up. A very good squad which has shown great stabilty won`t have big problems against a Fyllingen with numerous issues.

Stavanger, -0/0.5, 1.83 @sbobet 4/10 (58%)

2nd dvision:

Os - Randaberg

Even if Randaberg is in severe financial problems and had to let some players leave they still have a very powerful squad. They lead thier league and has not lost pace since the turmoil started. Now they have signed striker Bovar Karim from Tromsø on loan. A player which have scored loads of goals for Tromsø B throughout the season. They have high expectations of him being a regular next season for the Tippeliga-team, but has struggled behind Moldskred/Rushfeldt/Adriano. The loan period will do him good and today will be his 1st chance of perform for his "new" team. Os struggles in the bottom desperately wanting to survive in the league, but when facing a very strong Randaberg I can`t see them doing anything that defend today.

2nd division:

Fana - Flekkerøy

This one I take because the sheer value of it. Both teams have been quite good lately, Fana with two stright wins and Flekkerøy with two win in the last three. They played Stavanger in their last one and should have won. That being said, there are very few teams that keep up with Stavanger and Randaberg these days. Flekkerøys new signings made an immediate impact on the team, Hardarsson & Bekke, with very good performances. The only thing that makes this one rather unsure is the unstability of Flekkerøys away stat, going 4-0-3. They have shown that things could go very good or just the opposite and Fanas home stat is pretty good, looking at 5-1-2 so far. But as I said, value on an improved Flekkerøy.

Well, that would be up to you, wouldn`t it? There is no shame by going at it with low stakes if you don`t trust the punters work completely. I for one is the first to admit that I do so...

Well, if you see any value in the bet it sure is a possibillity. Glimt is always dangerous when their wingers are in action, and lately their defence has not been the best. Still, Moldes effectiveness in front might be the biggest question for this one though. They hav quality up front, but also strikers that don`t produce. In other words imo a 1.75+ on over 2.5 is a must if I should pick it...

What kind of stupid comment is that?
Do you expect the preview poster to guarantee you a profit...!??!?
Use your own judgement and learn about money management!

Kimera: Keep writing your previews, they are great and much appreciated!
Any thoughts about Vålerenga match?
