UT Arad v CFR Cluj-Napoca
CFR won the last game 5-1 and they look in a very good form, UT Arad (home - 1/1/2 ) will try to defend and get a draw, i don't think that will happen, CFR is going to Arad to get 3 points. I will certainly bet on CFR, the team objectives and value is incomparable. Pick : CFR Cluj

Poli AEK Timisoara v Unirea Urziceni , it will not be an easy game for Poli Timisoara, the got only a draw with Otelul Galati (auto-gol) and played in 10 from min'43. Poli Timisoara is of course more powerfull and talanted but the morale is not very good, Unirea Urziceni won the one with 3-0 but they played against a weak team. I must say that Poli Timisoara didn't got a goal from action since 20'th may (1-3 against Dinamo) and they didn't lost a match at home this season, they will fight untill the last minute to win to this one. Pick : Poli TImisoara

Steaua Bucharest v Gloria Bistrita
I do not have much to comment on this game, Steaua's next game after this will be in CL with Lyon, they lost the derby with Dinamo, it's must win game, and the have all the chances to do it. Pick ; Steaua

Arges Pitesti v Dynamo Bucuresti
Dinamo won all matches this game 8/8 in Liga I(last one derby with Steaua, and 3-4 with Xanthi in Uefa, Arges is 17'th team from 18. Pick : Dinamo

Rapid Bukarest v FC Farul Constanta ,Farul Constanta made a draw 1-1 (I saw the match, their opponent played in 10 and in last 10 minutes in 9, and the didn't manage to score one more to win. Rapid won the last one with 1-2, and before this draw with Steaua, if they win this one they will be just 1 pt from Steaua, i'm sure they will this one. Pick : Rapid

CFR Cluj have won three aways 3-1 and lost the other of their four aways 3-1!
funny these patterns eh!
Cluj may have stuttered in the recent weeks but at UT Arad who though the conquerers of Steau aren't in anything like form right now I think 2.2 for the away is astounding value on the face of it!

I know no team news and this is just a stat based suggestion but it's well worth pondering over -IMO!

I agree with basarabia here on his Dinamo pick

the stats would suggest a Dinamo cake walk and the 1.35 though hardly worth writing home about is again a bit on the generous side all things being equal!

Arges Pitesi home 0-0-4 F0,A5
Dinamo Bucharest away 4-0-0 F9,A2

the home side has lost their last 7 matches and 4 of their last 5 by 1-0

Dinamo have won by that scoreline on both of their last 2 visits and are no strangers to this result themselves this season - though they win by that margin!

I'm a little perplexed as to why those odds are availiable!

UTA - CFR Cluj is a good match to bet on. Odds are around 2.00 for CFR but are dropping down. Tomorrow it will bet something like 1.8. In the last game for CFR (that went like i described it) CFR rested 2 important strikers. They said that the team needs a couple of changes because Timisoara just trashed them (3-1), but the fact is that in the match against Craiova they had a very poor opponent so it is time for some second team players to come into the match. So coach "Munti" rested some players and with 4-5 players from second team scored 5 goals to Craiova. For the match vs UTA it will be diferent. There is a local rivality between these 2 teams who come from the west of the country. I saw that CFR takes the games very seriously, plaing with 3 strikers and they manage to dominate the midfield. UTA has no midfield!!! This is their great weakness!!! So their game is to provide long balls for attaker/winger Mara (although he is very dangerous). They skip the construction of the midfielders because their player are not good enough to keep the ball, make some driblings and what can i say about assists...
But the long balls for Mara will be cleared by the CFR's defence (very powerfull and strong the 2 central defenders and the right/left defenders are too experienced for Mara). Lacatus (UTA's coach sure knows all of this and will try to defend).
This is the only problem for the bet: not to end in a 0-0 or 1-1 draw, because if the match comes to 80's minute and CFR does not lead they won't force it and will wait fot draw to come!
UTA will play in the same squad like they did in all of last 3 lost games!
So i fancy CFR but protect my invest with a 0-0/1-1 draw.

Steaua is in a must win situation as there is no place for any mistakes not when they sit on the third place with seven points behind leaders Dinamo. Still the interest for this game is extremly low, it will not be played on Ghencea although the field is prepared because the owner Becali belives that "gloria is not worthy to ruin this field". Further more Steaua is going to play with it's second team as most of the players usually playing in the first 11 will be rested for the important Champions League game against Lyon next week. Paraschiv, Cristocea, Victoras Iacob, Radoi are all injured, Nicolita, Thereau, Mihaita Nesu are out due to suspension while striker Dica will have a break after playing in every game so far.
Steaua is the better team no doubt and they will try to avenge the 1-0 defeat last season that could have cost them the title, but we must take into consideration that Gloria is not a pushover when they play in Bucharest. Perhaps the visitors will do nothing more than defend the scoreless draw, and I'm afraid that in this situation Steaua will have a tough job with so many ket players missing.
Although I am a great fan of Steaua today I would recomand backing Gloria with a 1 1/2 handicap in their favour, because I find it hard to belive that Steaua will win by more than one goal in the best case.

Hm! Uta has his only goal chance in the 74 minute and scores! It ends 1-0 UTA - CFR Cluj in a match clearly dominated by the away side.
