2006-11-04 Pula - Osijek

Just a short one due to lack of time. Osijek earned their first point under Zitnjak in last match at home against Sibenik. Still, it was a shaky and inconclusive performance by them because, IMO, Sibenik was better team on the field. Quite unbelieveable what they missed for the win. On the other hand, Pula played goaless draw in Varazdin in an interesting and even match where both teams had very good chances to take the lead and win the match(just a small correction, Varteks missed a penalty, not Pula ). Poor Osijek without 4 important players against stable Pula, I think we'll se another win of home team here and possible sacking of Osijek's coach Zitnjak. Good luck!

As for other matches, just short opinions:

Zagreb - Slaven Belupo: open match, I really don't know why is Zagreb favorite here, this match is normally a no bet but if anyone is seeking for a value, than 3.60 on Slaven is certainly the one.

Kamen Ingrad - Rijeka: Rijeka made a solid performance against Dinamo in Zagreb on tuesday, now they play against worst team in the league. Although Rijeka is not a convincing team to bet on, they have much more quality than Kamen and I think away win is worth at medium stakes.

Medjimurje - Varteks: local derby, towns just few km from each other, typical no bet, Medjimurje impressed me against my Hajduk in Split, they've put up a good fight in the first half. Varteks has more quality, somehow I'm closest to away win, but as I said, no bet.

Cibalia - Hajduk: Hajduk without two important midfielders, still I think it will be an away win, but 1.45 on Hajduk simply sucks.

Sibenik - Dinamo: same as in Hajduk match, odds on Dinamo are not worth touching, but in this case I think Sibenik is capable of upsetting Dinamo. Young talent Rukavina made Hajduk's defence, best in the league, look them like clowns on few occasions, he can do it today also. Sibenik is doing well and it won't be easy for Dinamo on Subicevac stadium.

Well, it's doubtful at least if you ask me. Quite hard to see because one player infront is covering the 'crime scene'.
