Default Croatia - 1.HNL (Nov 8)

Sorry, couldn't find odds for this league in odds comparison, they didn't publish them

Anyway, back to the theme:

Dinamo - Pula: Clear home win, but odds are bad, traditionally i'd say BTW, fresh news is that Dinamo has changed coach. Branko Ivankovic(former Iranian NT manager, led them on WC06 in Germany) was appointed instead of Kuze. Weird decision someone would say, especially Kuze was defeated only once in the league. Coaches here don't last long and Kuze's bad euro results were the reason why he was sacked.

Hajduk - Kamen Ingrad: Clear home win, period.

Osijek - Cakovec: No Bet...Osijek's coach Zitnjak finally earned a point against Pula away and he was very close to all three points. On the other hand Medjimurje demolished Verteks 5:1 at home continuing ther impressive performance in last 6 rounds. Maybe over 2.5 is worth a shot...I personally won't touch it.

Rijeka - Zagreb: TV match. I wanted to publish a pick on Rijeka but Rijeka's best player in last few matches Tonito(played in Sporting Lisboa before) won't play because of injury. Zagreb comes with 3 wins in a row on Kantrida stadium. I think it's time for Rijeka to get back on track but without Tonito, their attacking engine, I prefer rather to watch them on a telly than betting on them.

Varteks - Cibalia: Varteks shocked with 5:1 defeat against Medjimurje. Although they were close to lead in that match they simply collapsed and were destroyed with four more goals in thier net. Cibalia comes from a good performance on their home ground. They drew against poor Hajduk and were much closer to a win then the guests. Even Hajduk's coach Vulic said it was an undeserved point for Hajduk. Anything could happen in this match. No bet for me...

And the pick:

2006-11-08 Slaven - Sibenik
Quite interesting match here IMO.

Slaven played their last match away against Zagreb and the macth wasn't a pleasant one for them. Besides equal first 10 minutes they were inferior team on the pitch. Although there were some weird decisions against Slaven, that doesn't justify Slaven's performance. Zagreb's attacker Kruno Lovred who was MoM, 'played' with Slaven's defenders who didn't have a solution for him. Moreover Slaven was quite toothless in attack and without much ideas. Match ended with 3:0 result in favour of Zagreb.

In a TV match on saturday, Sibenik welcomed Dinamo. Match that looked like 'walk in the park' for Dinamo after their early 1:0 lead ended with a 2:1 win for Sibenik. I was particularly impressed with Sibenik's calmness and fact that they didn't lost their heads after being 1:0 down. Their patient play was rewarded in 43rd minute when Kartelo scored an equaliser and 61st minute when biggest croatian talent Rukavina scored the winner.

Team news:

Slaven will be without: Macedonian NT player, GK Jane Nikoloski who earned red card vs Zagreb, defenders Kristic(yellow cards), Bosnjak(injured), midfielders Bozac(yellow cards), Mumlek(captain, injured), all important and first team players. Besides them, coach Scoria can't count on reserve player Jambrusic.

Sibenik will be without attacker Drazen Govic who renewed his injury but they are welcoming back important defender and captain Josip Bulat.

Unconvincing Slaven that showed poor performance against Zagreb and without 5 important players against Sibenik who is flying high after defeating Dinamo in last round. Sibenik is stable & compact team and if they show calmness and precision(which they lacked against Osijek in their last away game) in attack hopefully we'll see second win in a row for them. I think odds around 3.60 with mentioned facts are set too high and are worth a shot at small-medium stakes. Good luck!

Pick: A, Odds: 3.60, Stake: 5, Bookmaker: Expekt

Hopefully it will be a profitable one. Cheers

Nice write up Lancaster!

Just tried finding odd's for this on Betfair, as I don't have an account with Expekt, but doesn't look like they have a market for it.

Might have to open one up now as it looks like a worth while punt.

Thanks again and keep it up.

According to Betbrain, Betfair offers odds for this match. Sibenik to back is @ 3.50 currently there.

Dinamo is in little crisis these days.Thir coach Kuze resigned few days ago and now they are hungry to prove their quality.Dinamo`s goal machine scored only three in last three matches, today they gonna crash Pula.

Again, luck wasn't on my side. Reporter said it was one of the worst performances of SIbenik this season :| Hopefully you guys covered it with draw. Or at least took Hajduk & Dinamo in combo....they are on fire
