Short one. Two strugling teams meeting on Kantrida stadium and both have same concerns: bad form. Osijek lost last two matches, first against Slaven 0:2 and in last round at home 0:1 against last team on table, Varteks. Rijeka isn't in better shape also, losing in cup against Segesta 3:0 and then in the league against Cibalia 2:0. For Rijeka offensive midfielder Bule is sidelined while Osijek cannot count on their captain, defneder Babic. Anyway, recent results of both teams brought discomfort to their locker rooms so I think they will be a bit more cautious on the field. Therefore I think under is worth a try with medium stakes.

2007-10-31 Hajduk -1 EH - Cibalia

Cibalia is coming to Split from comfortable 2:0 win over unconvincing Rijeka. It was deserved win for them which again confirms that they are quite tough to break at home. Two wins in cup and league boosted their morale and they are announcing that they'll seek at least a point on Poljud stadium. Ofcourse, that's easier to say than to do in Split since teams like Cibalia mostly sit on thier own half and hope to suprise from one of the counters. I expect same scenario tomorrow. Hajduk finally won in an away game under their new head coach Robert Jarni, beating Inter with 1:0 result. Wasn't a pretty match to watch but they made their goal, gathered all three points. Hajduk is raising his form and want's another three points because Rijeka and 2nd place isn't far from them anymore. Cibalia has no important missings while for Hajduk defender Zivkovic(important), midfielder Andric(important) and best attacker Kalinic(important) are sidelined. Quite a handicap for the hosts, but still, they will be replaced by good players defender Tudor(captain), midfielder Rubil(mostly regular in first eleven) and attacker Rukavina(talented striker but playing under handbrake lately). As I said, I expect one way traffic since Hajduk wants all three point and is raising his form so I think -1 on the hosts is worth a try. Something like 2:0, 3:0, 3:1 could be expected. Home win, medium stakes.

Hajduk - Cibalia 2:2 FT

instead of finishing guests off in the first half they allow them to score two goals on counters. Ironically two golas for the guests was scored by Z. Malcic, guy that yesterday played in 5th league and today is playng in top cro league. Guy came from local village club Zrinski from Tordinci. Hajduk still unpredictable mostly because defence is still unstable and out of form. No wonder since defenders Tudor & Sablic had serious injury problems in the past.
