Arrow Information about Posting Selections

Posting deadlines

Each week there will be specific threads for you to post your selections in. You will easily be able to see what threads they are and they are usually set up well in advance.

You may chose from markets (listed in the rules thread) from any worldwide league (except UK leagues) as long as our sponsors (betfair) offer it. Each match day, whether it be in Qualifying, Group stage, or Knockout rounds, will span from the period Friday -Monday. As long as you post before Kick off, then Friday selections will be eligible.

Please note, that when you post, then you must post all 3 of your selections together.

So for example if your selections were 1 Friday game, 1 Saturday game and 1 Sunday game, then all 3 must be posted in the same post on the Friday night, before your Friday night game kicks off.

If you wanted, you could have 3 Friday night games, although this could be to the advantage of your opponent ,who would know you final points tally for the weekend before they had even posted their selections.

POSTING DEADLINE - changed for European & Worldwide Competition (V) !!

If you chose not to have selections for any Friday night games, then you must post BEFORE SATURDAY 3PM GMT. Again, all 3 selections must be posted in the same post.

Even if all your selections involve Sunday and Monday games, then you must post before this deadline on Saturday.

Editing of posts is not allowed on any post
. If you make a mistake then simply just add a new separate post.

If any post is found to be edited then you could be automatically disqualified from your match, depending on the decision of the admin team

If you do not post before this deadline, then you are effectively inactive for that matchday weekend. Your opponent will automatically be awarded a 3-0 win (margin could be even bigger if the opponent's winning selections add up to more than 3pts). If both tipsters in a match fail to post or meet the deadline, then an automatic 0-0 will result. However, if this happens in the group stage then neither tipster will be awarded any points. If it happens in either the preliminary or final qualifying rounds, then both will be disqualified. The only instance where there would be no punishment if both tipsters failed to post is in the Knockout phase, but it would be very unlikely that this would happen so late on into the competition.

Failure to post or meet the deadline in the 1st leg of the final qualifying round will result in immediate disqualification

Other limitations

You may only chose 1 market from each match. So for example you couldn’t have ‘Barcelona v Real Madrid - Over 2.5 goals’’ and also ’Barcelona v Real Madrid - Barcelona win’

Each week you will play an opponent. It is always an advantage to post your selections before your opponent does, because if you post after them, then there are some small restrictions.

Quite simply you mustn’t have selections of any sort, in any games your opponent has already chosen from.

So for example, if your opponent chose ‘Lyon v PSG over 2.5 goals’ then you would not be able to have ANY selections from that same match.

If you fail to stick to this rule, then that pick (s) would be disqualified for the weekend.. If an administrator notices before the deadline, then you would be given a chance to change it, but you cannot rely on this. Therefore you MUST know what your opponents selections are, if they have already posted before you.

If you post before your opponent then you can chose whatever games you want and there are no limitations as long as they comply with the rules.

RESERVE SELECTIONS

Each week you are allowed 3 selections. In the past, we had problems regarding postponements and abandonments. So now, you have the OPTION of having reserve selections.

If you have more than 1 reserve selection then you must state which one has preference over the other, should they come into effect.

Default Re: Information about Posting Selections

Format of posting selections

Its easy, just ensure that it is clear what your selections are and what matches they are from. Also make it clear what odds your selections are @. If you have selections from some less well known leagues, then it might be a good idea to state what country they are from (to help admin)

For example

Villareal v Valencia - Over 2.5 goals @ 2.35

Lyon v Rennes - Rennes win @ 3.50

Milan v Parma - Milan win @ 1.70
