This is a rankings system designed to recognise people efforts over the past in this competition.

For each competition, tipsters will be awarded a rankings score


+1pt if you are eliminated from the preliminary qualifying round
+2 pts if you are eliminated in the final qualifying round

+5 pts for qualifying for the group stages
+5 pts for every group stage win
+2 pts for every group stage draw
+5 pts for scoring 16 or more 'goals' in a group
+5 pts for winning a group

+ 5 pts for every KO phase win
+ 2pts for every KO phase draw

+5 pts if you are eliminated at the last 16 stage
+10 pts if you are eliminated at the Quarter final stage
+15 pts if you are eliminated at the Semi final stage
+20 pts if you finish as runner up
+25 pts if you win the competition


The maximum number of ranking points available to score in one single competition is 105

+30 (6 group wins) +5 (winning the group) +5 (scoring 16+ goals in a group) +40 (8 KO phase wins) +25 (winning the competition)


An average ranking score is determined for each tipster (total points divided by number of competitions entered). If two or more tipsters are tied on the exact same number, then career GD is used to determine position.

Please note that this system does not include Euro & WW comp (I) as the format was different to the other 3.

The rankings system is not worth anything in terms of prizes, but it will determine seedings and draw for the group stage (for those that are automatically invited). It will also determine seedings for the qualifying rounds.

If you are inactive for 2 consecutive competitions then you will be wiped off the rankings system.

Would also say the average should be taken from whether they entered the contest or not. so Clouds would be around 30 and not 91.

The trouble here is that if we did that with everyone then it would be unfair on those who say had not been a member when the first 2 competitions had been held, so they wouldn't have had the chance to enter

As regards to Cloud, well as I said, if you are inactive for 2 consecutive competitions, then your ranking will be wiped out.

This is in addition to Rumlesen, Libi and Lukiwa who are inside the top 20

They must attempt to enter this next Euro & WW comp (V) otherwise they're gone
