European & WW comp (II)


Following on from the 1st version, the competition returned. This time it followed in the exact same way as the UEFA champions league, with the exception of a 2 legged final. It started with 2 qualifying rounds, and then 8 groups of 4. There were a number of excellent games and this competition will be remembered for its especially high standard in the knockout stages. The defending champion was Psilocybin, and he was eliminated at the last 16 stage by Jockprop. The final was a classic which Archaeus won 10-8 on aggregate.

sorry for the late reply, I've checked back and the reason you weren't awarded 1 point for a 0-0 draw (vs Peetal) was because neither of you posted that week. If this happens, then nobody is awarded any points. Although in a statistical league table, it will still be registered as a 'draw'.
