| Re: York May 19th - PL Race Meeting V I just found my mobile and there was a message on it from Paul timed at just before 3 this afternoon. sparti, the slovakian guy has actually turned up  well done sparti, you`ve become an overnight legend, but reading the text from Paul it looks like it`s sign language all round as sparti`s English isnt up to much. I dare say though by now he`ll have mastered a few expletives if he`s been in Pauls company for 10 hours plenty more to come folks

| Re: York May 19th - PL Race Meeting V It was a quality day apart from me not backing a winner all day. Couldn't even pick my nose yesterday, let alone a horse. Who won the poker? I was going to go back to the hotel after concert but I was knackered and my mrs didn't feel too good. (She's nearly 6 mths pregnant) I wish I'd booked a room now, wouldn't have had to rush for a train and could have still played poker. Carl did well with his top tipping, our foreign friend couldn't speak a word of english but knew where the bar was and looked like spoon bender Uri Geller, if anyone got lost they just looked for kevs hat, and poor old jeffers had to sit indoors all day with his bad leg. Here's to the next one.

Well done to Carl and Tez for picking some good winners out after putting themselves under immense pressure! Thanks also to PR for organising it, must have took many hours to organise and cost a fortune. Nice to meet everyone

| Re: York May 19th - PL Race Meeting V Jesus fcuking christ!! What an amazing few days that was. The first shock I had was to find that Sparti was here. All the way over frorm fcuking Slovakia - hats off to him for making it. Went off for a few drinks and a bite to eat. In some café, me, Gripper and Jeffers eat some legendary burger that tasted like shit. (gripper has some footage I think). Went off for some bowling and I was fcuking shit initially then got going. We were all drinking like mad at this point before going back to the hotel for even more. That’s when the fun and games began big time and my memories are fairly limited. Me, Aliando, Jeffers, Gripper, Kotp, and a few others were left drinking shitloads until about 5am. Someone told me the next day that we had at least 15 tequila shots each plus a few Jägermeister ones, in addition to plenty of other alcoholic delights. I remember Kotp and Jeffers were eating flowers in the bar (fcuk knows why ) and there was a PL wrestling completion. Jeffers and Gripper were at it like loggerheads before Jeffers suddenly collapsed and claimed that he’s sprained his ankle. We all laugh at the fcuker and claim he’s being a pussy etc. He somehow keep hobbling around and crawling on the floor. Gripper made a fcuking mess of the toilets  and I’m told someone was pissing in the lounge area of something like that. Somehow we are managed to fcuk off to bed but there was still more drama. Me, Jeffers and Aliando were on the 5th floor and making our way back when Jeffers flops on the floor and can’t walk. Fcuk knows why but I joined him on the floor and we must have crawled about 20-30 metres to our rooms. At this point, the security guard comes along and threatens to call the police and turf us out of the hotel. Alaindo managed to somehow persuade him otherwise, and we make it to our rooms. Next morning I came down to breakfast still pissed as fcuk. all I can remember is having a conversation with Penelopeys about something. I asked where Jeffers was, and someone said he was in hospital with a broken leg and that he was having a serious operation on it. Turns out that he didn’t actually go under the knife and that he had instead broken his ankle. Kotp and Gripper escorted him to the hospital (possibly big gaz as well) and they were all promptly removed form the infirmary for ‘ill mannered’ behaviour. Jeffers makes it back top the hotel with a plaster on his ankle and managed to make it to York. The racing was superb and we all had plenty of winners. As usual, Tez was a profit making machine. Friday was all about recovery for me and the poker was pretty good as well. I’m not even sure who actually won it in the end (might have been Morlspin) but I’m told it went on until 7am this morning, after 10 hours of action. There’s a few people totally ****ed at the moment (PR Penelopeys, Jeffers, Aliando, etc and they are off up to Newcastle later today. Totally amazing few days and there is sire to be some cracking footage. More from me later about what was a totally class time.
