Default Where's all the posters?

Just noticed all three coca cola leagues have not had a single post since last night.
Things are getting a bit sad around here
4000 members and about 30 posters

Some men, you just can't reach.

So you get what we had here last week.
Which is the way he wants it.
Well, he gets it.

Now I don't like it, anymore than you men."

Having said that good luck with your bets unless your betting against me. Having seen that there's not even a thread containing the section of my bets I doubt it...

BR,

It happens now and again mate, some weeks loads of posts and some not so. People go on holiday, disappear for weekends away etc...

I've been busy lately, but I'll try and add some thoughts this morning.

No worries Paul
It was not a criticism, just an observation

Nonleague
You are correct mate
It was originally from the film Cool Hand Luke (I think it was Strother martin to Paul Newman) but was also on the beginning of a Guns and Roses song called Civil war

This thread has got nearly as many posts as CCL II

Nonleague footie in the non-league thread Nonleague. Plain and simple.

I believe it because after a few bad results (Colchester etc) people give up the ghost for a while and think that betting on footie is shite and a mugs game etc. Then they get some more cash in their pocket...

hi guys,

just my thoughts here as i've been on the missing list since last weekend.....

my complaint is work and women. i enjoy the forum very much but sometimes its just not possible to post. apologies if absences are noted but thats life. the girl likes the fact that she is looked after but would casterate me if she found out where my second income comes from!!!!!!
im sure a lot of you guys can understand this problem or am i just chicken..?????

anyway im sure that things will pick themselves up over the weekend and if you dont hear from me on this forum it because i've been found out and am in the local hospital getting "the little boy" stiched back on.

Ive been quiet due to women and family hassles Fritz myself this week. I never seem to get a moment to myself.

Busy with work too. Good to give others a chance to get a word in when i aint about mind.

You in a huff btw Nonleague? Maybe you just don't fancy anything this week thats why you aint posted on the nonleague thread or maybe it's just women problems too.

Not posting any tips on here anymore Komp. After last weeks fiasco and the childishness about FA Cup not being allowed its own thread etc. Just not worth my time to do a write up. Others still get my tips though on MSN.

I did enjoy posting on here though.

Rules are rules indeed!!

But not allowing the FA Cup to have its own thread is a bit of a joke really seeing the amount of interest it had and yet the CIS Cup and Bells Cup etc gets its own thread as well as the Carling Cup.

So why bother to waste my time doing a big write up for something that will not get read by many and instead of allowing everyone else to say what there tips are on the FA Cup thread it all gets jumbled up with the Conference etc. Just seems silly.

But hey thats all in the past now, But doesnt seem like much interest in the pro leagues with hardly any replies which is a shame. Those FA Cup threads brought something different I thought to this Lounge and I think it showed with the replys that it had.

There were some good tips on there from quite a few different people who knew about there local sides etc. Maybe you should try it again this week and see the response it gets.

nah non-league the Scot's thread beats it hands down every week with info and posts but the nonleague thread could be worth a read at times if there was some good info flying about.

I don't know why you still keep quoting that the CIS cup got its own thread as it never has. Yes there was one a few weeks ago but only because it was the ONLY Scottish football that midweek. Scots football on the scot's thread and non-league football on the non-league thread. I fail to see why you have a problem with this. I can't see why you cant just post it on the non-league thread. The same people will read it.

I feel that your just a young man nonleague and have the airs and graces that young men have. Feel free to post but if you don't then no big deal, i can live with that. Maybe i should go into a wee huff too as i think that Scottish junior football which Hills covers should have its own thread as i know quite a few of the players and there are some killings to be made. I just dont want it all to get mixed up with the East Stirling crowd or the Peterhead/Gretna doubles. It needs it's own stage. Right thats it i'm so up my own arse i'm gonna go on strike as PL needs me for it to be successful.

Kompressaur who?

Default FA cup thread - where is it?

Without wanting to get personal (i.e ageist ) I fail to see your comparison Komp with Scottish Junior football and the most famous cup competition in the world(FA cup - qualifying or not).

Granted the Scots thread yields quality info from a number of sources. But I now see that there's also a mid-week thread for another cup competition. To take your argument further why isn't that in the scottish thread?.

Also, can you bet on scottish junior football at Bet365?

Just some observations. I hope the thread comes back so we can get back to talking abount punts and winning.

Good luck All,
AMP

Right enough of this. I was on holiday when all this fuss kicked up otherwise I would have had my say by now.

Non League - everyone has encouraged you to stay and I hope you do as from what I have read you know your stuff. If you do though just post your picks and analysis please. You've had your say - your objections are noted and respected but politely disagreed with. Sometimes in life people agree to differ you know?

Frankly you huffing and puffing and blowing no houses down is getting a bit yawn inducing.

oooooooooo nonleague will be quaking in his boots Aye come on nonleague behave yerself and stop flamming the board.

AMP the Scot's thread this week is again called by the cup competition due to the lack of action in Scotland this midweek. It is only called so to inform folk. Much though you may like the shitty leagues of England i think its best to bin it all together and maybe get some info flowing intead of loads of threads with posts thinly sprung.

I prey to god at times nae-league as i will use any tool at my disposal to get some readies in. This week i was let down by Falkirk, Dumbarton and God.

Cnuts!
