I am signing out of this thread forever now.... Bring on the gloating Celts. Well done, the success of Rangers has played into your hands and you win the league.

Bye.

Kissing the badge and saluting the fans on the way off - i love him for that. He is a legend, and he is 'one of them'.... Brilliant, I love Novo, I love Rangers FC. The fans were awesome tonight... the 'follow follow' after Celtic scored was legendary...

I BET there is NO trouble in Aberdeen tonight...

we are the champions of scotland once again!!
altho rangers basically threw the title away. It reminds me of the time celtic reached the uefa cup final, and rangers won the title that season.
i will admit rangers shoulda won the title this year (as celtic shoulda won it that year), but i wont let that spoil my happiness.
hail, hail indeed

Just back from pub watching Aberdeen v Rangers....made no difference to me which team won the league!

Hungrier team won tonight at Pittodrie which was strange.......was there a reason why Novo and Boyd started on the bench?

Calderwood's now going to end up getting praised for the efforts this season....now THAT'S sad!

Ah well, hopefully a challenge to the Old Firm within my remaining years!

Well done Celtic........comiserations to Rangers!

Just a game, folks!

BY FAR the best team has won the league.

Rangers' have been riding on luck for most of season, in Europe and domestically. Their side does not have the quality of Celtics' and im glad the footballing side has won, especially for Tommy Burns.

Great celebrations afterwards aswell.

Ive also just seen Novos' sending off. What a ******* clown, that was an attempted leg breaker. The guy is a complete ****** and needs a right kicking as that attitude is completely uncalled for.... basically = "we have lost it lets snap someone in two"

A disgrace.

Anyway, well done to THE TIC!

ffs get a grip JJ The best team BY FAR what league you been watching all year...plain & simple Rangers threw it away and Celtic took their chance winning 7 in a row so CONGRATS Celtic but you know you were gave a helping hand we were tired end of.

And your comments on the Novo tackle... agreed it was shocking but he has always had the little stupid / nasty streak in him so comes as no surprise unfortunately that was about the only bad tackle in that game and considering what was at stake..thats not bad going

Rangers are disastrous to watch and I think they have been fortunate to even get where they got this season, Celtic have been underperforming for most of the season until a few months ago. Lennon coming in as a coach aswell as Barry Robson booting Donati out of his place has really turned things around.

Celtic are just far more entertaining with the likes of McGeady, Nakamura, Robson and co whereas Rangers grinding attitude just doesn't suit most football fans, apart from their own somehow!

I am sticking by words, I honestly believe Celtic are the far better football team between the pair... And to use the excuse 'tiredness' is a joke. They are getting paid 4 figure sums every week... Take a look at some Junior sides who play 5 days from 7, do you hear them complaining? NO.

Iv always thought Novo was over-rated, Im originally from burntisland, which is a small town near Kirkcaldy.
I remember Novo when he played for Raith and wasnt the best player then.
Moved onto dundee where (I admit) was pretty special, or at least was made to look it, but then again the best player in the league that same season was probably the immense keeper speroni!! (member the argentine keeper, moved onto england afterward) and look what happened to him.
what im getting at, Dundee played attractively, novo, speroni, even wilkie, but never achieved anything and got relegated.
since then novo has been found out, and rangers shouldnt be fooled by his "patriotism" to the gers, he done exactly the same (kissin the badge etc) that he done at raith and then dundee.

I dont think Celtic were "by far" the best side, but I think we deserved it, just. But at the end of the day, as the gers have pointed out before, its not about who deserves it, its who wins it.

Disatrious to watch, fortunate.. for a team who,s played 69 competitive matches, reached a uefa cup final, won a cup, another final on saturday and lost the league by 3 points after having 7 points and a game in hand, they done not too bad eh Treated shockingly by their own governing body no matter what tainted specs you look thru...Celtic more entertaining football jesus fcukin christ its been 9 months of long ball as the seasons drew to a close JJ you have slowly began to show your real colours and im gonna follow Alex outta here before this bullshit drowns me

Well done Celtic Rangers you threw it away but the doubles still on
