Seriously though, so much hate going on in here. All you scottish football fans should unite and realise that even if you formed one big team you wouldnt finish higher than 10th in the premier league.

the betfair forum is one of my favourite lurking spots when im feeling down...all the posters discussing their new 'systems' for exchange games makes me feel a little bit better about my life

My side on football is im actually a neutral but believe me, I love my football... maybe from a betting point of view too much!

Nowadays it seems no one can have a decent conversation up here about The Old Firm without people like Bell going off on one.

Ask yourself this... Do you think the likes of Strachan, Walter Smith, Novo, McDonald etc actually care about the select few idiots who take all this religious stuff too far? Of course not.

Lets just get on and talk sense. Its obvious that guy was winding Rangers fans up which is the wrong way to go about it. As I said, they gave it their all but it just wasn't to be.

had a feeling that game might get brought up. I dont really follow scottish football but i understand that the national team has been doing well, is this just down to gritty performances or do they actually have some good players? I think both Rangers and Celtic would be in the top 10 to be honest.

Their home games alone would see to that.

Will never happen even with the taster of the Epl being dangled in front of them....There is a rivalry / hatred that goes back hundreds of years but lets not start that again....

Celtic do rise to the occasion like no other on big European nights at home imo. Their results against some of the top sides in recent years proves that for considering they have limited funds unlike these sides.

Its just their away form that kills them at times.

It would be great imo if Celtic/Rangers joined the English prem i think it would take them a few seasons to establish themselves but in the long term i think they both would do well and playing in a top league each week would help there chance in European comps if the were able to qualify for them. Realistically sadly i don't see it happening.They need to do summit as we all know it is a two horse race every year in the SPL playing against very average teams most weeks.

There are a lot of good scots in the national team at the moment. Ragers played a majority scottish team tonight, then you add in the quality players celtic have, and the lads playing down south, as well as a lot of exciting young talent sloshing around the rest of the scottish clubs.

All going well we'll win the world cup in 2010

agree with the above, one of the positives is the scottish players that have made the rangers team consistently. i dont think we will ever get back to a glasgow & district eleven - but the signs are encouraging for next season. its all about the football, well done Zenit.
