Seems a remarkable run from a lesser known russian team ..........
They did win the Rusisan premier league last year and are a pretty major club in the country.

The are a top class side and have produced some seriously good football in the UEFA cup this year.

Personally I can't see Rangers getting anywhere near them. Zenit will comfortably win this trophy IMO. I wish 'gers the best of luck, but sadly I think they'll need it

I agree meatman.

However the boring way Rangers play, Zenit could get frustrated just like Werder Bremen and Fiorentina.

If Rangers can hold out to half time, they have a chance otherwise I think Zenit could win comfortably myself. I watched them against Bayern and Leverkusen and they were electric on the counter attack.

yeh they just tore open Leverkusen with their pace and skill

in the previos round they beat a very in form Marseille side and I was really impressed with them that night

The Bayern thumping was quite amazing as well

Rangers have had a habit of getting results this year. It's not nice and far from pretty but you have to play to your strengths. I feel this could be a step too far for them. I would actually fancy Zenit in europe against nearly any team at the moment, they are a bloody good side.

I certainly think Rangers would've had a better chance against Bayern.

you never know in football though..........

Q for rangers fans

Presuming the other scottish cup whatever it's called is already in the bag, which of these 2 would you rather win.

UEFA Cup or the league?

interesting question.

i'm no Rangers fan, but if I was i'd saythe Uefa cup. They have 51 titles, but 1 european cup.

Although as a Man Utd fan, i'd take the PL title over the CL. Strange.

Be very interested to see what Rangers fans think

I know a few Rangers lads and the League seems to be the preferable option.

Considering they were 7pts clear or such with games in hand, they can only (and look like they may well) throw it away.

They never expected nothing in the UEFA Cup really and it has been well known all season Walter Smith has had the SPL as his main aim.... although obviously that feeling could change, now that they are in the final.

Ferguson 1-0. Feel for Motherwell, they don't deserve to lose, was the same on Sunday.

I can confidently say I think the league is Celtics' aswell considering Rangers have to go and play Motherwell away (which I forgot about) and also at Pittodrie vs Aberdeen.

Kirk Broadfoot playing in a UEFA Cup Final, I never thought id live to see the day.

Absolutely disgraceful by Walter Smith speaking to the officials like that. He is complaining that there is 4mins added on....

Take away Fergusons goal, would he still be complaining???

Managers have to make you laugh.
