I see where you're coming from but I would be extremely surprised should a similar reaction be enduced by a picture of the Queen Mother. The stick Boruc has taken from the press and supporters for the sign of the cross amongst other things is very sad. Many people have said to me that this gesture from him yesterday was perhaps a way of highlighting the sectarian issue within the country in which he plys his trade, by measuring the amount of abuse he recieved for simply praising the head of his religion. I need to agree with ScottishBhoy though, this would be a non issue if it was any other country.

Theboybroon. I would have to say I think you need to calm it down a bit. Please cut out any personal insults and anything that could be deemed bigoted. I don't care who posts bigoted stuff - blue or green members. They will be banned.

At the end of the day, the PL is a betting forum, where we are all here to make some cash and share stories/advise etc. It is not a place to throw personal insults around.

I really do think some people need to remember this. There do seem to be a few members here who are simply here for a wind up, absolutely no posting in the betting threads and then ripping into people in here. That is not on.

Please can we sort it out.

This thread is making both sides of the Old Firm look like fcuking idiots. To the outsiders here it must be getting beyond a joke, and it is getting stupid.

Wholeheartedly agree, and for my part if I have went overboard on any issue, please highlight it and I will gladly apologise if necessary

tbb, I do not get you. One minute you are throwing insults around left, right and centre. Then you agree that the thread should be locked. No way. If we keep this insult free then this can be an excellent and informative thread, in the run up to one of the most intriguing SPL campaigns for a long while.

I would like to think that we are all big enough to realise that we will never ALL agree on everything, but thats life.

Football banter, YES. Personal insults, NO.

Please do not post or even read the thread if you are intent on causing trouble, this goes to anyone.

Would again agree with this, I personally think some people on here are definalty on for an argument and a slagging fest ( people from both sides of the old firm may I add ) However I would encourage these people to stay off a betting forum and go to one of their own clubs forums as I think this kinda behaviour would be more appropiate in such an envirioment.

Things certainly got overheated after i retired last night and maybe it's time that the FOOTBALL side of things became the main talking point here , otherwise it's either going to be locked or people are going to get banned and that's not what the majority of us would want.

I think it was SB who asked the question to Rangers fans if they honestly think they can still win it , well as a non-Rangers fan , imo yes they can and probably will still win it but it's going to be squeaky-bum time for both clubs and it may well be Celtic that drop points ; Away games at Motherwell + Dundee Utd and home to Hibs will be hard games to take anything out of and there won't be the build up that comes up with an Old Firm game .
Certainly will be 'interesting ' if it comes down to the last games.

My most sincere apologies, must have been a horrific experience to be wrongly classed as one of THEM!! (joking)

I agree lets turn this back into a football thread, and not one where we highlight the many problems which lie within Scotland from all quarters.

If Celtic drop points at any stage its game over, no question. Big game coming up on sunday for rangers though. Easter Road never an easy place to go an after what I can only assume to be a draining fortnight for Rangers after 2 Old Firm games and a UEFA cup tie to contend with there is a big possibility of points dropped. To be honest I think after watching this game on Sunday we'll see how Rangers are set to go about their business in the remainder of the season. If they drop points I think Celtic WILL win this league, I personally think however that they'll consolidate at the back and win the game comfertably thus providing a confidence that they can go on and win 3 out of their last 5 to win the league.

Find it amazing how you can justify stating that CELTIC have hard games to take anything out of and you dont even mention Rangers run in...?

Its alot harder than Celtics and on the evidence of Sunday's game they are already 'dead on their feet'. And they still have 6, possibly 7 games left this season, alot harder run in IMO and they are more likely to drop points.

Totally agree Celtic have hard games and in all probabliity both teams will drop points.

I dont think we'll drop points SB. We cant afford to, if we drop points anywhere its game over. I fear that last motherwell game at parkhead will be the crucial one this season

Just not that confident in our defence mate, but I trulely believe Rangers run in could spell disaster to their title hopes

Well hopefully McManus is out for rest of season, big Caldwell looked a changed man playing alongside O'Dea. After winning next to nothing against Cousin, after O'Dea came on I cant remember him losing a header. Still think we need two new centre halves come next season.

Its a MUST mate if we want to win the title and have another decent season in Europe. Really think we need an experienced head at the back and a decent striker to replace JVoH.

Bell, for clarity Boruc received a police warning for gesturing to the Rangers fans not for blessing himself, please try to stick to the facts when discussing legal matters.

Oh i think they will drop points SB but the difference is that they can afford to and if they have to shut up shop , as they have done throughout the season , when it matters then they can .
CELTIC SIMPLY CANNOT AFFORD THAT LUXURY.
No doubt the injuries / suspension situation is affecting them but the decisive factor could be the man in charge and this is where Smiths old head may outdo the Ginger-whinger.
Must admit even the most adamant Old-Firm haters at work are intrieged by this run-in.

Out of curiousity, since the majority of posts you've had on this thread has had a slightly pro rangers slant (nothing wrong with that btw) and you refer to strachan as the ginger-whinger, if you dont support rangers who the hell do you support??
