Default 5K challenge.

ok here it is have taken a loan for 5k, and this will be my bank roll.
Going to make several choices which I feel there is value in them. As per the other thread which is now locked.

I will note the opposition, prediction and all odds will be judged as from betfair.

The 5 k is going to be split into 3, 2 2k and 1 k as reserve.

The stake will be variable, according what i feel the chances are and will go up or down with the level of the bank roll, up until the end of each week(then will return to 2k)

running the risk of aftertiming will include the manc draw as predicted which looks to be a loss anyway, 3-0 up!

Even if you win loads of money with this, it is absolutely absurd to make a loan to bet.
I managed to secure a nice 1k bank on betfair by selling old stuff I had at home on ebay, books, a good bycicle I wasn't using anymore, etc, etc. It took me 2 months but it's money that never went out of my family budget, it was just stuff lying around. I turned it into 2.5k in 6 months, and hope to go on vacation next summer with it. And if I ever lose this money, I will NEVER make loans or take money from my household budget (it's the same, you have to pay for the loan).
I think this has to be said to anyone reading this thread, NEVER DO THIS.

Good Luck, I hope you get out of it on top

Nice post Pinho, I am looking into doing something similar... selling old stuff to build a nice betting bank. It helps you tidy up your house, and gets you set up to try and make some more money. Would never even CONSIDER taking a loan to go gambling with.

This is old acvice that some people don't take.

Never gamble money you can't afford to lose.

Taking a loan means you don't have the money to begin with, so cannot afford to lsoe it. If however rockshark feels he has a system or knowledge that will allow him to make a profit, then fair play - just not something i'd do.

If i recall correctly though, i believe Maria took out a loan (no idea if it was this big) to fund her superb laying system. Worked for her and hopefully will for rockshark.

Good luck with it mate

thanks georgi, I believe and look at it as a business any business needs start up capital, I do agree that most people should not take this course of action but have a good track record.- have previously built up a good living and a bank of 15k with sports betting- so am fairly confident I will pay off the loan asap.

I have no other debts, I am young its not a huge amount of money that will effect my life if it goes pear shaped.

thanks

I hate to jump on the bandwagon but there seems no sense to this at all other than you telling us what bet's you are placing on a daily basis. Which is great but dosent really qualify as a glory hunt.

Anyway best of luck RS

By the I agree fiorentina looks like a really solid bet.

Err, actually, if you read the Glory hunter rules:

Glory Hunters Forum Rules.

- In the top post give a description of your Glory Hunt with as much or as little detail as you are willing to give. ( if you don't want to give any
details just say so )

So, I suppose the rules say you can simply post a list of selections.
I know ProjectRockshark tends to be controversial, but he has ran some succesful systems in the past without reasoning behind the selections other than his personal ratings (The Big 5 system) and I personally followed it for a while although only on some games (and won quite a lot actually).
So, just let the man post his selections, I don't think there is harm in it...
