Bulgaria are beatable and Italy aint a bad top seed as they are prone to silly results at times...

Scotland got that 5 team group - That'll be real hard and not a bad draw for N.Ireland despite Darrens unhappy look..

Europe and South America are both very harsly treated...how Africa gets 6 and SA gets 4 is a joke when you consider 3 SA teams get to the last 16 last time and one african scrape through on a bent decision.

and dont get me started on the asians....

Think its just the group winners in that one...As far as I know there is no play-off place for that group but I could be wrong

Winner goes through.

The best 8 2nd place sides of the 9 groups go into playoffs. Results against the 6th placed side don't count in getting the best 8 runners up

Great draw for Scotland...really is.

Holland are not that good anymore, they really arent. If Scotland perform as they did in the last group I would back them to top that group.

I think the ROI have got a tough group there Frisky. Georgia looked good in Scotland's Euro group - they're a young, up and coming hungry team.

No, I like that group very very much....

Italy like a slow build up, Bulgaria are not brilliant and can be beaten, Georgia will be difficult but we should have the beating of them again. Cyprus got 4 points from us last time out and they are the ones i fear..

Slow teams suit us but again it all depends on who we hire as a mnager now!!!

It's a good draw, probably good as we could have hoped for. We didn't get any big guns like Italy.

Croatia are better than us at the moment, but I'd like to think if we had a decent coach in charge, we should be able to see them off.

Nice draw for the Scots but hard for everyone else.

Strachan and walter smith will be happy with 2 less games, Id agree - we have could have been much worse.



be wary of Georgia frisky - done us bigtime over there and we needed a goal at the death to beat them in glasgow. Not a lower ranked team youd have preferred.

Garbage mate from what Ive seen.

Serbia had one player in the WC 2006 squad that was from Montenegro and he was the 3rd choice keeper.

the key to getting a result against italy is getting them as early as you can - like all champions league teams the national team are notoriously poor starters - they always have a shock result in the 1st couple of games.

good draw for Ireland IMO - be a tasty 3 way fight in England's section.
