Default Who's your team at Euro 2008?

England aren't there.

So who's your team that you're going to be 'following'???

Mine's goign to be Romania. Shirts similar to Leeds away (sort of!) and i used to love Georghi Hagi and Florin Raducioiu.

Come on, the erm . . . . . yellows!!!

Over the course of the last few months ive been maintaining my betfair balance at a level that is a multiple of £5.

If I have any spare, then the balance has gone on Germany to win it. (i.e. if i had a balance of £47.23, then I would place £2.23 on ze Germans).

I now have about £50ish on them at prices ranging from 7.8 to 6.4 so I will be supporting them

As I've been backing Russia at various prices ranging from 55/1 to 160/1 I now have 20k riding on them to win !!!!!!!!

Will be looking to lay this off if possible.. depends on draw on when I do.

Anyone who can djerkoff down the the line at full speed and dribble into the box will do for me

Well they have the best centreback partnership in the tournament with Senderos and Djourou

I'll peobably decide after the opening round of matches see who plays the most attacking football and fields the most players I like.

I guess it might be nice to see Spain finally do something after years of bottling it and/or being f*cked over by some shocking home-town decisions.

Was thoroughly unimpressed by Germany in qualifying btw. I think they overachieved at the last World Cup riding on a wave of national euphoria.

Betting wise I'd probably be most tempted by Portugal as things stand now. Quality manager and they've been pretty close in the last 2 major events (12.5).
Agree that Switzerland could be value too. Remember they didn't concede a single goal at the last World Cup and home advantage should give them an extra edge (27)

No home nation or ROI which is a shame, but in fairness will mae for better viewing on TV. No harm intended but its always annoyed me how the BBC ad ITV manage to make a mess of these comps when England are in them. An hour long highlights show would contain 40 mins talking about England and 20 mins of the games that day. Sorry I want to watch the fcuking football!

Spain for me. Prick of a coach aside they are a good footballing side, plenty of good players, and total chokers. Would be nice to see them step over the line and not get done by bad decisions either.

Portugal ought to do well but for me the fact that they have no great strikers will be to their detriment. I think that a side solid defensively could pick them off.

I think they ought to be good to watch but I won't support the team that beat England both the last two tournaments, wouldn't seem right.

Instead I'll support any Spurs players that are playing... if there any? If not then I'll just watch as a neutral, just hoping for good football.
