As the Window is coming up fast, thought it would be a fun idea to have a thread simply for transfer rumours etc. Post them all here, and any links you got to 'em Unless they are the old 'my mate knows the kitman' or ' i was at the training ground and saw' then tell us the source We can see hoe many rumours actually come true:p

| Very True Crowie Looks like Huckerby isn't going to Norwich afterall, so i'm sure some div 1 club will snap him up, will be good signing to. Speculation where he's off to? Quote:
Wonder if a team like Forest who had him for abit last year could afford him? probably not. Maybe my team, Pompey, will take a chance on him? Always thought he has decent potential anyway. | |

£5 MILL??? Is he any good mate, i aint seen him tbh. My guess (and hope) is Defoe for Man.U. If United are allowing Viduka and Saha stories to be leaked then it definitely isnt either of them thank god. Ill have a 10pt punt on Defoe in a red shirt. His disclipinary record this season will go down well at our place. ![]()

Balders - he is excellent mate. £5,000,000 will seem like peanuts when he is 25 (had 30 caps) and is worth 4 times that. J. Jenas that went to Newcastle for £5,000,000 from us is a good player - but position for postition I think Dawson has the better future. BTW Man Utd (so the rumour goes) came in for him last year. Offered about £5,000,000 AND said he could play for Forest until the end of the season. Dont know if you lot are still interested?

Michael Brown to Spurs for £500k. Rangers had him lined up for nowt in the summer apparently. Rangers offered Dundee £50k for Gavin Rae. Overmars to Liverpool - no doubt Gerard will play him in the centre of midfield going by his early season use of Kewell.

Well Michael Brown has gone to Spurs, thats a good signing, just what they need in midfield, very good player. But 50k for Gavin Rae, that's actually a joke surely? he's one of Scotland's best players isn't he? Dick Turpin would be proud of that one ![]()

Pompey, Yep, Rae is certainly one of the better Scottish midfield players about. However Rangers know Dundee's situation re administration etc. Dundee (or rather the adminstrators) are looking for £250k for Rae in January, Rangers know they will get him for knowt in the summer therefore the low offer. Doesn't help Dundee's financial position one bit but to be fair on Rangers, they are skint too so they are going to want to spend as little as they can as well. Rangers sort of did the same with Khizan....., the Georgian boy who they got from Dundee in the summer. He was on freedom of contract but because of his age, Rangers had to pay a fee for him. They offered £70k for him, a Georgian internationalist who has proved to be an excellent player this season. Dundee were livid, wanted £1m (think they had paid £900k for him possibly). Ended up Rangers got him for free due to some technicality over Dundee actually offering him a new contract. To be fair, Celtic did something similar with Agathe from Hibs a few years ago, Hibs signed him on a short term contract, he was excellent, Celtic offered them £35k as his deal was due to run out in a few months, Hibs either had to take that or get nothing in a few months time. Same story with Stephen Pearson of Motherwell now, another Scottish internationalist. He will either be at Celtic for £200k in January or nowt in the summer. Neither side of the OF are helping the other clubs too much to be honest. BTW, Rangers opponents this Sunday.....Dundee at Dens Park. Maybe not the brightest thing to do, offering a sum of money so derisory 4 days before you play the team ![]()

Seems like the OF to be honest ,are not exactly helping the rest of the SPL? Suppose as you say though, Rangers are skint to, and i suppose they are at least playing withing the rules, so you can't really fault them there either.I just don't really like clubs being taken finacially for a ride when times are hard, as it only makes things worse in the long run. Not really going to help selling your best player for 50k is it. Never mind, probaby just cause my teams been through all that sh1t, luckiy we've come out of the other side.

www.soccerage.com/en/13/s3560.html Looks like it's a possibility, i've also heard we might be also after Richard Duffy from swansea, who is supposed to be a great prospect. Although, it looks like we face tough competition for that one from our friendly foes down the road.
