Super Gerrard !

This lad has carried Liverpool for the past 4 years and has brought me so many great moments in terms of goals winning games etc and tonights goal might be the peak and best/last/most important goal i see from him,I don't want him to move to be honest but if he chooses too i would wish him good luck which would be hard to do,It's no overstatement to say he singlehandedly got Liverpool into the Champs league this season,through the 2 qualifiers with his 2 goals in Graz and then tonight got the club a extra £5 Million for reaching the Last 16 plus £12- 15 Million for just getting in the Group stage,IMO he will leave and when he does we will get a fee of around £30 Million or more so helping us again,I would personally not sell him for £100 million but if he is set on leaving then so be it,But thanks for the great times Gerrard !

No-one!! There's not a sum of money that would cause me to sell Gerrard the way he's playing at the mo. You could rebuild the whole side and still never get the effect he has on the pitch. Like my new msn name states......Chelsea can't afford Gerrard!!

coming from a non-loiverpool fan i would trust rafa with the money more than houllier. If houllier had still been in charge tonight you can guarantee he would ave brought a defender on at half-time in the hope that they could nick a goal and still qualify for the uefa

Gerrard is certainly a top player and has to be favourite for player of the year this season but to say he won the game single handedly is a bit harsh on the rest of the team. Pongolle made an impact from the minute he came on, scoring and then setting up Mellor for the second.
Kewell should of scored but is playing better and seems to be getting some over the top stick imo. Great night though...

Think its sad when players get booed when they return to an old club. Dont think Gerrard would get booed if he left, as long as he didnt go to Man U.

He is irreplaceable, for every Gerrard, theres 1000's of Diao's Biscan's Smicer's etc etc. If he asks to leave Im sure Benitez would find a way around it. Heard some murmurings that he's after Mista/Ayala in the transfer window.

Yeah shearer get booed everytime he comes back to ewood park which is a shame after what he did for us and winning the prem.
He still gets booed because of the fact that on a Thursday he said he'd stay at Blackburn but by Saturday he was at Newcastle.

I like to think that he cost us nowt, scored heaps of important goals for us (FA Cup Final V Arsenal) and moved on - earning us a few quid. We just couldn't offer Owen what he wanted, simple as that - such is life.

I dont want to pish all over this little love in but I still remember Gerrard in the Euro 04 champs , he was bitterly dissapointing as he was against Man Ure (before he got injured). For me he's yet to prove he is a big time performer. The greeks were utter rubbish on the night dont forget
