shaktars players were a little too quick to dive when celtic players dared get within 5 feet of them - worse still was the number of free kicks they actually won doing this

Ahhhhh gothca Yeah completely shocking, something should be done about the actors and the bodyguard referee's.

I got a forearm smash to the head today in a match. The ref saw it perfectly and decided to give just a yellow.

There has to be a balance.

What I mean by that is whilst the diving in today's game disgusts us all, we don't want a return to the days of wingers being kicked into touch as it's flair players who we all want to see and they need a certain amount of protection from the laws. Obviously though it has gone far to far now.

difficult i spose when the ref is paid £10-20 to jog around in the rain compared to the technologies available to the footballing authorities at the highest levels - but until football gets a grip at the top, parks football decisions will be based on what is seen as acceptable through media coverage to a certain extent.

yeah true, what i'm basically getting at is that the british game suffers from a lack of flair as it is and if we were to change the laws we must be careful we don't give license for teams to become packed full of Vinny Jones style thugs.

good point tbf - although admittedly i always played a la vinnie

agree there needs to be some balance, but it gets frustrating watching so many blatent dives getting rewarded
