He is playing well. You can have him for £500k when they clear out the rubbish & bring in the new boys in January!
3-1 up and Damo gets the 1st again , if he was at our club he'd be classed as a prolific goalscorer Wish i'd had a few quid on him for 1st goal now.

you aint gonna believe this one mate

i deliberated a bit & then thought oh well its worth a quid of anyones money, got it on at the ground with 3mins to spare & up he pops!! I didnt check the odds as no slips were left so just wrote it on a plain slip.

WEnt to collect at HT & the bloke said he was 40's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How can he be 40's when he was 33's last home game & has scored since!!!

Cheers Ladbrokes

When I noticed he had got the 1st goal I was wondering if you'd have backed him to score 1st. Good result for you today.

why shouldnt qpr get promoted?

look at sunderland and cardiff. last year sunderland were the initial whipping boys, but picked up had a solid second half of the season and got there.

cardiff started december in the relgation battle and are now just a few points off the play offs.

the championship is a bettors nightmare but can be very entretaining!

we are 3pts better than last year & added 4 new players today with more signings to come.

Looks like we will be the team to beat in coming weeks! Shame we dont have a few more points when you take the following into account:

Plymouth 1-2 conceded injury time goal
Palace 1-1 conceded in 88th min
Coventry 1-2 conceded in injury time

Thats 5 points we should have had.

Teams like Charlton & Watford have been found out yet again & their home form is getting worse. Back those teams away but not at home.

We also have more points vs the teams we played last season in corresponding fixtures so hopefully the target is 75 which is 45 from 19 games.

Dont think you are good enough to go up, I wouldnt get carried away at beating us, we really are shit......it doesnt matter how much money we throw at players...we get shitter.

Things are certainly looking up though for QPR, money to spend with a decent manager and seem to be building a good side.

Next season could be a good one for you.

Matt Connolly joins Queen's Park Rangers

Defender Matthew Connolly has joined Championship side Queen's Park Rangers in a permanent deal.
Connolly (20), who had spent the first half of the 2007/08 season on loan at Colchester United, broke into the Arsenal first team last season, making his debut in the Carling Cup victory at West Bromwich Albion, playing the full 90 minutes. This was followed by a substitute appearance in the 6-3 victory at Anfield in the Carling Cup Fifth Round.
Matthew, who joined Arsenal as an eight year-old, was a regular in the Reserves during his time the Club and was Captain for Neil Banfield’s team last season.
Matthew had a very eventful 2006/07 season. After playing in Dennis Bergkamp’s Testimonial match at Emirates Stadium in July, Matthew also trained with the full England squad as they prepared for their friendly match against Holland and then spent a successful loan spell with League One side AFC Bournemouth.
Everyone at Arsenal would like to thank Matthew for his contribution during his time at the Club and wish him the best of luck with Queen's Park Rangers.

"We used to love playing Chelsea, because in those days it was a guaranteed three points," Gallen joked - a reference to the fact Rangers finished above the Blues for 15 out of 22 seasons before their demotion from the top-flight.

I just cant understand why with all your money and recent success you go and buy a striker as poor as him

He struggles to get into the Preston team these days and he's the most clumsy striker ive ever seen in the flesh apart from Trevor Benjamin.

Preston North End
Queens Park Rangers

I mean look at that.......not even a decent level and he 49 goals in 270 odd games...

I'd take Vine like a shot though, class act in this league.

yep & Viine has 62 goals in 212 (+46 sub) apps which is nearly 1 in 3.

I was surprised i must admit although he looks a handful. Dele Adebola might have been a better choice?

Maybe.....in Vine's defence im sure he has been deployed as a winger quite a bit as well.

Agyemang will remind you of Furlong but just not as good in front of goal....

Fitz Hall also signed today from Wigan. Should be a good addition in this league.

Some Argie named Ruscadella signing in next few days from Tigre.
